OMFG they have my whole heart like literally 🥹❤.
the way Dhruv loves Sitara but thought he don't deserve her and then marrying her😌

It was an okayish read. I would've DNF'd at 80% but pushed through only because the setting and characters were Indian.

I wish there was more chemistry instead of pandering to topics like PCOD, pregnancy reveal HEA etc. Although fairly represented, they took away from the Romance genre categorization, in the sense that the book lacked moments that could've been snuck in had these plot points not been a main focus.

The 'abandaoned at the altar' trope makes for a great setup for a 5-star worthy romance. This was off to a good start but quickly lost steam. There's something off about the FMC. She is unlikeable. She's fat and neither ok nor not ok with it. Then why sneak in that aspect? It's not as if just fat girls have PCOD. She constantly downplays the MMC's devotion. He is such a dev manus that it's funny, but dreamy for genre newbies, I guess. However, what if the roles were reversed? It would've fed to the dark romance trope that's problematically popular on TikTok. I wish she slowly saw his love and also had some strong character development instead of just hopping around until the end.

I am not writing a snarky/critical review. I just wish the potential in this book was lived up to, like others in the series. It's definitely the weakest thus far.

It's a decent read, but feel free to pass on it if you're surrounded by better books.

Read this beauty in February, but I haven't forgotten a single thing. The most beautiful thing about this book is my absolute favourite, Dhruv Singhania.

💌 Dhruv is a character, that I would love to have in real life. Green flag, no he is a green forest. The thing I liked about him is his way of punishing Sitara when demean herself. That's what a real man would do. (I won't tell the details).

💌Sitara, my baby, is such a sweetheart but I feel bad for her. Growing up with a mother who breathed down her neck in every choice of her life, Sitara thought she was not enough. But she won in her life when her brother's best friend became her replacement groom though.

💞 The best part of this book is the way the author has portrayed the concept of love. Love does not need to be loud always but staying together and making efforts.

I love her books so much!!

One thing I really love about her books is how relatable the FMCs are. They feel real, with emotions and struggles that are easy to connect with. And the MMCs are always such a love. Caring, patient, and the kind of characters you can’t help but adore. This book is no different. I love these both with my whole heart. With Sitara’s struggle , her pain and vulnerability. And Dhruv…. he has always been by her side, making sure she knows she is is valued, respected, and never alone.
I love how their story slowly grows into what it is now. He made sure she knows how worthy of love she is and he gave her the best she deserves.

The kind of love this book gives you..the silent, patient, intentional kind.

Sitara’s pain, her humiliation, her struggles… and then Dhruv stepping in, not just as a replacement groom but as a man who has loved her in silence for years . He doesn’t just marry her. He chooses her. Every single day🥹❤️

This isn’t just a romance. It’s about healing, about being seen, about someone loving you so deeply that they start learning your battles as if they’re their own.
Dhruv isn’t fictional. He’s a standard.❤️‍🔥
And I’m not recovering😭

completely stole my heart ❣️

Sitara’s character felt so real a chubby woman with PCOD who spent her life being judged, yet still stayed confident and strong. And Dhruv? One of the softest male leads ever. The way he loved her through small actions, gifted her flowers daily, recreated her favorite chocolate so she could eat without guilt, and reminded her she was beautiful… it was everything.

This book wasn’t just romance, it felt like comfort. DhruvSitara will stay with me for a long time 🥹

As someone who started reading with Wattpad? this book gave so much of that vibe. Overall the Indian vibes were so good I even enjoyed that there were no useless miscommunication and how problems of women was a occurring topic.
A good binge reading and easy going book fs and Dhruv!? He was dreamy throughout the book hihi.

This 3rd book in the series was, without a doubt, my favourite one. S.C. Jain´s books always leave me wanting for more.
