Monster Wave: Rolcor

When a freak accident shatters the fragile safety Steph’s family has clung to, it sets them on a path from which there is no turning back. She never expected salvation in the ruins of the world. She never expected a hero.

She never expected Rolcor.

The world is no longer theirs. It ended the day the skies split open and the invaders claimed the Earth. Humans became prey overnight. Survival belongs to the ruthless — or the prepared. Only their father’s obsession with doomsday planning kept Steph and her sisters alive, sealed away in the bunker beneath an abandoned warehouse while monsters stalked the wasteland above.

Underground, they endured. Hunger. Fear. Isolation. But they were alive.

Until the accident.

In a single breath, Steph goes from survivor to liability — injured, exposed… and hiding something that could destroy them all. A secret with ruby eyes. A presence in the rafters above their sanctuary. Watching. Waiting.

Now, forced from hiding and taken in by a ragtag band of the very creatures they were taught to fear, Steph walks a razor’s edge between trust and terror. Because safety is an illusion in the apocalypse.

And the ruby eyes follow her.

Every step.
Every breath.
Burning in the dark.
