Fate is strong.
But so is Zoe.
Continue with our Champion as she faces new threats, new allies, and learns what it will mean to be a burden bearer in the next instalment of Redress of Olympus.
This is book three of the Redress of Olympus series by Molly Frances. Go read books one and two and then come back here!!!
Book one grabbed my arm… book two gave me a hug with muscular arms… but book three… book three held me by the throat and told me to hang on for the ride!!!
It starts from the beginning, with the kind of writing that doesn’t just have you reading emotions but feeling them right along with the characters and feeling them deeply. Molly Frances has a way of putting words on the page that makes you fall in love with the characters and then has you on the edge of your seat while she puts them though hell, while sprinkling the joyous moments throughout to keep hopes high!
Zoe and Alec have to overcome so much in this book, both individually and together. Zoe as she learns to navigate this new transformed world/power. Alec as he slowly again re-figures out who he is. These two have the slowest of slow burn romances… the kind of love that isn’t instant, but is filled with a million moments all leading to collision of two souls. When I say I love a slow burn, this is exactly what I mean.
I cried fat ugly tears… I also laughed through those tears and at moments I was reading with eyes as wide as I could while covering the lower half of the page to keep myself in the exhilarating moment! Plus that ending leaves you desperate for the next books!!
Thank you to the author for the opportunity to read her work. I received this book as an ARC and this is my honest opinion.
ARC Review . Absolutely obsessed with the direction this story is going.
the characters have been given the chance to grow and learn and make mistakes and grieve. a lot of this story is about grief and the way it manifests and the monster it can turn into.
Zoe almost becomes an unlikable narrator but its so specific to her personality that it makes complete sense and even when youre frustrated with her and want her to make a different choice you also know she won't. her relationships grows so well, even in the face of impending war and there are glimmers of hope throughout. the rest of the characters are the pillars that hold her up and each of them is a different facet of what makes her a strong character, even when she feels her weakest.
there is so much build up in this book and while the problems raised in book two are resolved there is a whole host of new problems that reveal themselves and will leave you desperate for book 4.
ARC Review 📖 Fates of the Cursed - Molly Frances Book 3 in the Redress of Olympus series
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫 Releases 4/3/2026
This book... I laughed. I cried (happy tears mostly). I screamed and raged. Chapter 24 had me literally giggling and kicking my feet.
Without spoilers, I just gotta say: MY MAN IS BACK. I missed him and his charming personality so much. Almost every scene with him put a smile on my face. Our little traumatized sarcastic bestie. Thank you, Molly, for not killing him off...yet.
Zoe goes through it in this book and she's so much better for it. She really comes into her own - accepting herself and her role. She has two goals to accomplish and she's not letting anything get in her way - even if she has to do it without the support she's come to rely on.
And that ending?! I'm so pumped to see where this story goes!
