I read this because I thought it was an Epilogue to Armageddon 2001. There were a couple of pages that showed the destruction of Monarch's device and the heroes clearing people from the rubble.
And that was pretty much it.

The rest of the issue was about other Superman plots.

I definitely did not expect that Luthor's son and heir would be an Aussie!

Side note: When did Lois cut her hair?!

This is on the list of Armageddon 2001 comics but I'm not sure why. Monarch is in one panel and Waverider is on the cover but it seems to have very little to do with that. It's much more about the first appearance of the Atomic Skull.
