I really did like this book.

I picked it up and read it mainly because there was a reference to the story of it in Percy Jackson and the Sea of Monsters, because it is a greek legend of course.

I did really enjoy reading another book with greek mythology from a different time and point of view.

One thing I really loved about this book especially was the character development, it was really well done, especially with the main character Pylos.

Overall I really liked this book and I would recommend it to anyone who likes to read about greek mythology.

It was quite a good story from the point of view of an original character, Pylos, the ship's boy. I loved reading about his relationship with both Hercules and Jason, and the retelling of the voyage of the Argo. The heroes seem much more like flawed, ordinary people. The emphasis on the power of the Mother Goddess, and her influence throughout the story is amazing, as well as all the events surrounding Medea, her Amazon warriors, and what really happens in Corinth with the Golden Fleece! I also like the story of everything that happens in Lemnos!

Awsome, classic Greek legend written from a different perspective. Short and evenly paced- I really liked this book.

This is a good book if you like a good journey with surprises and danger. It also has good visual words. It gives you a picture of what making your name last forever really takes. It is a story of heroism and defeat. And how no matter what everyone can be brave when their life is on the line.
