what an amazing story and the way it goes is amazing!
The book captured me from the beginning to the end and of course in the end there was a cliff hanger...damn cliff hangers.

ANOTHER BEGINNING OF A STORY WE HAVE COME TO LOVE, WONDERFUL CARINA
I WAS GIVEN THIS BOOK FOR AN HONEST OPINION AN THIS IS MY OWN OPINION 17+ AGE
Gwynne and her mates Rauth and Lachlan have done a good job in raising their twins Lilliana and Rohen, they are coming of age. Each was given a year to go forward in time to their mothers time 2015 , Lilly went to London to study, though all the mixed up facts (she had lived though) she was being taught drove her crazy, but she knew she had to learn their wrong answers to pass. She knows that as the Dragon Queen's daughter she has to go back for the ritual where her 2 mates will be chosen by her fathers, she has no say. They have decided to hold a tournament, not to kill or maim but pin or outsmart there by proving their worthiness to be the mates of Lilly. But while Lilly was at school a clairvoyant Condor saw his self with Lilly ,though at first he didn't know who or where she was, just that he had to find her soon or lose her forever. He has no ideal what she is or what time she is from, he just knows that she is different from anyone else. She thinks he is just a human, even after seeing his family tree. But he is fast learning about her,some from his family, things he had always thought to be rumors. Another (in her time) who she thinks would not be a bad mate is Lord Graeme Ramsey, Alpha dragon. So far we have a Dragon Queen , two Alpha dire wolves, A Lord and his son both dragons, a clairvoyant (possibly just ) human,a phoenix (Lilly) dragon, and her twin brother Rahen, with his own secrets about what he is. We have instant chemistry X2 (Condor and Graeme) sadness, suspense, drama, and that is all before the tournament starts.then we find danger,intrigue ans some beautifully written plots and twist and turns. The human can talk to Lilly's mind, give her a danger warning in time to save the dragon,but by what means and from who?How can she save him and what of the human? More important what is happening at the tournament, Lilly, the Lord Dragon's son, and a human they didn't know was even there disappear . To Where? Why did the dragon's opponent want to kill him? Did they save him? How will he take it a puny human saving a dragon? Will Lilly choose her family honor and mate the ones chosen for her? Or will she try to find a way to get them to let her choose Condor( who has been told the Ritual will let him change to be like them) and it takes 2 males 1 female for a ritual.CLIFF HANGER but not long to wait to continue the story and find out some answers.

Cliff hangers.. pffftt :)
I do love Ms. Wilder’s writing style and have enjoyed her books. Torn: I have to admit took me a bit to get into it, the story moved a bit slow at first. As I kept reading it reaffirmed the reasons I enjoy reading Ms. Wilder’s work.
My favorite thing about series are when the writer brings back characters from other books, it just makes if fun.
I actually liked Lily a lot even though I did thing her going to the future was a dis service to her. I understand why but yeah.. Modern times and Medieval times for a young woman is not the smartest thing to allow.
Oh I loved Conor, smart as a whip and patient. He bided his time and in doing so he did research and learned what he could.
As a couple it seems Lily and Conor are doomed, but Conor isnt about to give up his want or need to claim Lily.
I’d have liked more about Graeme, didn’t really get a feel for him but I’m sure he personality will come clearer in the next book.

I am always so disappointed when I get to the end of a book by Carina Wilder! Simply because it is the END of that particular read, and I have to wait for the next installment or series. I absolutely LOVE this author and everything I've read of hers. This first part of a new serial is no exception. It picks up where the Sought by the Alphas serial ended.
This series is about Lilliana, the female twin from the union of Gwen, Rauth and Lachlan. She was born and has grown up in the mid-1300’s, but time-traveled back to her mother’s original twenty-first century time period. She has been allowed to do this so she could acquire a formal education. And experience life before settling down to her destiny and responsibilities; a destiny which includes dual alpha mates just as her mother has.
This book introduces the heroine to her first taste of lust and feelings for the opposite sex. It is the beginning of a whole new ride … for the heroine and for the reader. I am onboard and ready for this trip to take continue!! Next installment please … now.

Conor is smitten when he sees Lilliana in his head and dreams, he must get close to her. So he signs up to her class, just so he can be close and look at the beauty that has caught his eye.
It is an attraction that cannot be since Conor is not a shifter, or so thinks Lilliana, will Conor prove to be able to challenge for her, or will they be thrust forward to a time where anything is possible for them.
Lord Graeme is a very worthy challenger and Lilliana's deor likes him, but will he be able to accept Conor, or any 2nd male for that matter?
Lots of intrigue, so many questions, can't wait for the next book in this wonderful story.

I'm so excited for the continuation of this series. Reading about Lily's story was fantastic. I loved Sought by the Alpha's series but I think I'm enjoying Torn (Seeking her Mates) more.
Lily is a strong woman with some small insecurities and huge secrets. She is not thrilled with what her parents have planned for her ritual but before all of that happens she's in the future attending university learning all about incorrect history and it drives her crazy. While in school she meets Connor and she starts to doubt what the future or in her case the past holds.
I highly recommend this book and series. If you haven't read Sought by the Alpha's I highly recommend it. I received an ARC for my honest review.

Pleasantly Surprised
I was gifted this book for a honest review. This is a new author for me and I really enjoyed it. Lilliana and Connor's story adds a new twist to Dragon stories with Lilliana being able to leap or time travel to other centuries. Also with her duty to mate 2 men/shapeshifters, it brings you into what the Ritual competition is going to be like. Connor is a seer and has been waiting for Lilliana , he knows they are to be together, and she can't stop thinking about the man she left in another time. Everything is about to change when Connor grabs hold of Lilliana when she goes to leap back to her home!!! This story will drag you into it, making you want more. Can't wait for the rest.

Started reading this series First and let me tell you this is what had originally made me look into the First series "Sought out by the Alphas".
This book keeps you grasping for more! So excited that Connor is willing to fight for her and if that is just a tease of their romance to come.... I can't wait for the future!

This novella has me intrigued.
Very well-written. Wilder's words flowed so easily and I was immediately caught up in her story. Conor's mysterious ways and Lily's strong sense of self painted a clear picture of what was to come. But dang do I hate cliffhangers. This should be one complete book. Because it's not I deducted one star. I will be purchasing the second book however.

Another Time
Lily was from the fourteenth century, but as a time shifter Dragon, she was fully aware of the twenty first century. Lily was taking a history class at the college in London, when she first noticed the man sat ing at her. As time progress ed she got to know him very well. What a awesome start for this new series my only issue with it that it was over way to soon. I was drawn from the very beginning not able to put it down not for a second the chemistry between Connor & Lilliana is smoking hot. I can't wait to see what's going to happen next.

Lily has been attending school in present day London, but is expected in the past to claim mates and perform her ritual. She meets Conor in the present and doesn't want to let him go, but duty says she must. Explosive ending that leaves you wanted to read the next book NOW!

Nothing Special
No matter how much I tried, I couldn't get into this book. I mostly skimmed it. It didn't capture or even hold my attention. I'll continue with the set but I'll most likely skim the rest of the too.

Gotta love time travel
Poor Lily finally find a man she likes but he is human and off limits. She goes back home where there is a tournament for her hand. I vent the story was interesting and it kept me reading. I am looking forward to the next book.

Great start! Excellent plot layout! This story flows so well, I knew from the first chapter I'd love it. And just because this author writes so well, I'm going to have to give her other works a thorough reading too! On to part two!!

Got this as a freebie download. I enjoyed reading it, but I think I'd enjoy it better if I'd read the other series first as this is her daughter. Gotta go look for those books.
