I feel like despite being written basically 70 or so years ago this book is very enlightening. Definitely enriched me as a person and gave me a better understanding of automation and its relationship with labour and the economy; and a better understanding for what life must’ve been like at that time. It has very even keeled and sober way of looking at the world which clearly has a lot of compassion for the worker and the potential of mankind.
