She makes a pact with the Gods to fight the evil who is trying to destroy mankind and in return, the Gods agree to grant Nira her wish to become human. She purged all her weaknesses, including her emotions to the back of her mind. In a twist of fate she meets Stephanie, and finds herself not only fighting for her soul, but for Stephanie's life. But the moment she met Stephanie, something dangerous awakens in her, something possessive and powerful, she discovered she would do anything to protect the woman who was slowly claiming her heart, even break all the rules if she has too. What happens next, not only shocks Nira but also Stephanie. In the end, it is Stephanie who saves Nira...and more.

This book was amazing, I have never been into Vampire books, but this book changed my mind, or the way this author writes changed my mind. It is not a typical vampire book. There is Nira who is a Vampire but hates her own kind and has made it her mission to kill her kind, and just when she was ready to give up, she met Stephanie (no spoilers) This is a book you want to read. It is up there with the best I have ever read.

Enjoyed it

I love reading books with a supernatural flair and I was not disappointed. I hope there will be a second part to this just to see what happens next with Nira and Stephanie.

Interesting way to read a fictional being

Nira is old in years 1200 years to be exact but with the looks of a 30 year old. Stephanie is a 30 year old witch and doesn't know it yet. Nira has a deep needed agenda to rid the earth of evil blood sucking parasites. Complications arise where Stephanie is persuaded to help Nira with her newly developed witchcraft. Along the way their mutual feelings toward each other goes on a roller coaster ride. The interciding of Nira's maker, the Gods and Stephanie dead parents help these two along the the way to hopefully eradicate the man behind the maker of these bloodsuckers. Enjoy
