Winter. For children, it is a season of Tasting snow cream. Having a snowball fight. Building a snowman. Going sledding. Ice-skating. Enjoying a day off from school. For adults, it is not always as Getting up early to watch for school closings. Finding the ice scraper or that missing glove. Cleaning off the car. Battling inclement weather conditions and traffic. Flu season. And let's not forget, it's just downright cold outside! No matter what your age, the season of winter is a time of memories, both good and bad. Harness Anthologies is proud to present its first collection of stories, essays, and poems devoted to all things winter. So grab yours and enjoy Solstice!

An anthology of stories and poems about the winter season. As with any anthology, there are hits and misses, but overall it's a strong collection of writing and, though I wanted more poetry, there are a few stories that tug at the heart.
I took my time with this gem. A printing group in St Louis put together this great anthology. The meditations on the winter season reminded of many of the things I love about winter.
