The trap is set…

Single mom and successful boutique owner Sarah Stewart didn't have room in her life for a pet, let alone a man. With a teenage girl to raise and a business to run, she couldn't do anything more than look at Jonathan Marshall, the singleand singularly good-lookingman who just moved in next door with a teenage daughter of his own. Still, since their girls would be classmates, it made sense to make friends. But that was as far as it could go. Despite the best efforts of some teenage matchmaking, Sarah wasn't giving in. Because she just isn't ready to put her heart on the lineagain.

The Parent Trap is a Harlequin Romance that leaves you smiling. It is the story of a widowed mom raising her 14 year old daughter and her new next door neighbor--a divorced dad raising his 14 year old daughter. Sarah Stewart owns a clothing boutique in downtown Serenity Bay. Jonathan Marshall is the new physical education teacher at the high school and the girl's soccer coach. Their daughters, although very different, become friends and begin to do a little match making to bring their parents together. This book has likable characters who are easy to relate to. The situations they deal with seem real. I enjoyed this book.

A good clean story about two 14 year olds, with a single parent each, who become best friends despite their differences. The teenage girls work together to get their parents together for their own purposes, but soon realize that love, family, and respect goes a lot further.

This book could have come out of any disney channel. As the title promises, it's a clean romance with a simple plot, a couple of teens who want their parents to hook up and are exploring romance. Both h and H really grow together as a couple and explore boundaries they have set for themselves.

Very cute book with sweet, heartwarming characters.

Sarah owns a clothing shop in a small Canadian town. She is a single mother to Casey, a tomboy soccer player whose father died in a car accident when she was 6. When a new neighbor moves in next to Sarah and Casey, they take him a plate of Pillsbury sugar cookies and discover their new neighbor is Casey's new soccer coach and PE teacher, Jonathan, father to Kate, a fashion conscious teenager.

When Casey and Kate talk and find out they both want something from their parents (in Casey's case, a dog; in Kate's case, for her father to accept her and her desire to become known in the fashion world), they decide to try to trick their parents into forming a relationship, not knowing Sarah and Jonathan are one step ahead of them, both in already feeling attracted to one another as well as getting onto their plan.

Cute story, quick read.

A sweet and touching story about two single parents trying to do their best, in spite of a certain amount of baggage, and the unpredictable teenage daughters who plot to bring them together. Differences in style and an over-entitled ex-wife complicate things, but the girls are up to the challenge. Add in a lazy cat and adorable dog, and you have a story that will leave you smiling.
