This is Dr. Ikeda's compilation of short essays that discuss Buddhist parables in light to contemporary phenomena. Beautifully written, and very heartfelt. Finally a book that conveys his views on capital punishment, something I had been curious about for a very long time since Buddhism involves reverence of all life yet respecting the law of the land.
A quick and easy read. Highly recommend it to everyone because it is not limited to SGI. It is a discussion on relationships - husband and wife, parents and children, friends, and most importantly one's view of self. Simple yet thought provoking.
