Fine Lines

Months have past since he caught his girlfriend cheating, Wyatt sits at home in a moody and intoxicated state. Filled with rage, he vents his emotions by sending her a message in the middle of the night. But the message is sent to the wrong number - one that will take his life in an entirely new direction. Tate, on the other side, receives a message from a stranger, which then with time turns into a friendship. And what starts as a midnight mistake turns into something deeper, quieter and strangely comforting. As late-night messages turn into real-life encounters, they begin to find in each other what they didn't know they needed - love, honesty and peace.
Fine Lines is a story of two people walking on the edge of friendship and something more - where past pain, family pressure and breakable trust blur the boundaries. It's a story about timing, accountability, painfulness and the fine line between letting go and holding on.

I don’t usually write reviews or gravitate towards genres such as this, but this one was really well written and an easy comfortable read. The layout of the story was done well, leaving you wanting to read more in some chapters and overall, wrapped up nicely towards the conclusion.

I loved that there were things left unsaid for certain characters, leaving it open for the potential of another book.

The characters felt like real people and drew you into their life story with ease.

I look forward to more from this author, well done!

A nice debut book! I do wish there were more paragraphs as it felt a little ramble-y at times. The last 3 paragraphs or so, also could have been spaced apart better, I felt rushed when Wyatt and Tate both got their offers. Happy I read it though :)
