In Book One of the Exposure Series, a small town murder grows into a serial sniper case and political thriller of national significance involving CIA drones. Local detectives Gus Moran and Janelle Yakamoto join forces with FBI Agents Andrea Mitchell and Allesandro Alvarez to solve a case that leads all the way to the White House. This is the first book in a series of Exposure mystery novels that involve these four characters in jobs that make it difficult to establish and maintain ongoing relationships. In the Exposure series, the team grows in size to face cyber-terrorism. biological warfare, synthetic humanoids, drones and world-shaking events.
Light fast political thriller. What if an Edward Snowden didn't just leak NSA secrets about illegal surveillance programs, but what if someone like him wanted to make everyone in the NSA who had dismissed him concerns and ended up firing him pay and pay with their lives? And so you have the premiss of this novel. It may be a little bit far fetched but I thoroughly enjoyed it as a light escape read. There are of course the relationship between police partners and FBI partners and their collaboration as they solve what they believe is serial killer on the loose. Lots of interesting twists and turns.
