You will be a wonderful Member of the senate, county assembly and parliamentarian. You will be a wonderful Citizen. You will be wonderful man of God.
You will have sons and daughters. And they will have children. And they will love you. When you are gone, they will remember you. They will remember stories you told. But when your children are dead and their children after them…..your name will be lost.
If you are an abnegation. The selfless……...glory will be yours. They will write stories about your victories for thousands of your years.
The world will remember your name. But if you are a coward as they said: A coward dies many deaths… You will never come home. Then do not do this, only certain death awaits you here. For your glory walks hand in hand with your doom. And I shall never see you again. I’m a soldier. I obey. Nothing happens to me that I was not fitted by nature to bear.
They called for me. The selfless. The abnegation. The slave who became the general. An Abnegation story. A striking story. Now people want to know how the story ends.
I knew a man who once said, “Death smiles at us all. All a man can do is smile back.”
Free the children of the world. Tell them stories of the selfless. The abnegation stories.
