A decade-by-decade tribute to the influential, charismatic "chameleon of rock." David Bowie always defied expectations with his dizzying series of stylistic transformations. Packed with photographs, this beautiful book covers everything about this iconic his music, his film work, his partners, his life. Images of rare memorabilia—much of it from Bowie's early career—complement insightful text from a top music journalist.

Forget the sex and drugs and scandal, *Bowie* is for serious rock fans only. A great photo album, but it's equally a great discography. It's strictly about the musicians, bands, albums. As a collector, I especially appreciated the album to album format.

I got this book for Christmas and really enjoyed working my way through it. The text wasn't anything spectacular but it was laid out well and the photographs and old gig posters/ticket stubs made it special. As a huge Bowie fan, I was surprised to see a few photos I didn't recognise which is always a bonus.

An absolute delight to read, I wholly recommend it to both fans of Bowie, and those who appreciate the history of rock, as Bowie is one of the most influential figures the history has ever seen. An amazing selection of photos, too, this book is the ultimate homage to the king himself.
