Stan and Jan Berenstain (often called The Berenstains) were American writers and illustrators best known for creating the children's book series the Berenstain Bears. Their son Mike Berenstain joined them as a creative team in the late 1980s.

Finishing this book gets me a trip to Aspen Leaf - woo hoo!

It was okay. Would have been better if the book actually tought kids tips on how to survive in the wilderness.

And I understand this is a kids book but, there is a part where the scouts go to the lubrary to check out books. When they get there they finfpd the books are already checked out. They ask the librarian who has the books and SHE TELLS THEM! I work at a library and I found this very unethical. You don't tell patrons who has books they want!!!

Hey! My first book in Spanish! It was good. I had to look some words and phrases up, but that's good because of the varied topics.

It was a fun adventure with plenty of twists, and great moments to ponder the right course of action.

Can't wait to read another!

Found another one of these at a used bookstore and decided I was going to give it a shot since I was pleased with the first Berenstain Bears Chapter Book I had read. This one wasn't quite as good as Haunted Hayride, but again, it had some great lessons, and was a quick and fun read!
