If Cleo isn't writing (or reading!) erotica, she's probably sitting on her balcony, watching the wind blow through the trees. She loves snowstorms, horses, and piña coladas. If she won the lottery, she would hire an assistant to take care of the technical side of e-publishing so that she could write all day.
Some random facts about Cleo: 1. Thinks life's too short to forgo HEAs and HFNs. 2. Sprained an ankle joining the mile-high club. (Never again!) 3. Favorite writers include Cormac McCarthy, Junot Diaz and Rachel Caine. 4. Gets weak-kneed for bookish guys who know how to fix things with their hands. *swoons*
Now this is what I'm talking about. The mystery and suspense is really starting to add up and I'm getting hooked with every book of this series that I read. It's an addiction.
Lindsay's past has finally started to catch up with her, now that she is enjoying life and working for her new bosses. Life seems to be finally going good and then something happens one night late at the office and suddenly she wants to run again. However she seems to be in two minds about. Lindsay really wants to tell her bosses about her past because they could help her, but doesn't want to trouble them. I really wish she would tell them, because then I would know her secret too.
And let's not forgot the hot bosses. Each one of them is slowly starting to grow on me and each for different reasons. While together they all have some VERY HOT office sex, the more time Lindsay spends with Slade, Romeo and Hawthorne individually, the more their character personal traits are revealed. Hawthorne is really starting to come through and want he does in this book is a real eye-opener.
Dangerously Big was okay. It wasnt the best of the books in the series, but it made Hawthorne less of an ass hole. So that was nice. I wish Lindsey would just accept the help. All of this lying and deciving is getting annoying. I am only going to finish the series because I like the guys. "They’re like the three musketeers of sex: one for all and all for one." Funny how that quote literally sums them up. I know chances are Lindsey is going back, but I hope Romeo doesnt take her leaving to hard.
The thing about running away is that your are never safe and trust is hard to gain. This is what Lindsey is know learning. Feelings are being developed and trust is coming into play a lot. She sees a future with them but is unsure if they can help her. I just hope she comes to her senses and trust the men she loves. The hardest thing for a run away is admitting you need help. Can't wait to find out what happens next.
Very short, but somewhat intriguing. You want to find more out about the details of what female MC is hiding. My curiosity left me wanting to read the next book in series. Which incidently is frustrating due to having to buy/find the next book, & to finish the story there are 6 books to get.

My Thoughts
Well, we're slowly but surely seeing Hawthorne warm up to Lindsay - so that's a good thing since we know how much tension there is between them. He's definitely the dominant in this whole party . And there's reason for it i guess.
So where we pick back up in this third installment is where Lindsay is helping finalize the buyout of a company and she's working late for her three men. Of course she gets to ogle them and fantasize about them, but the problem is that while she looks at them separately, they've made it clear that it's an all or nothing thing so she just gets to dream.
Things take a turn for the worse one night when she's working late and let her guard down and is kidnapped. We know that her grandfather is looking for her, yet we really don't know what the deal is there - there has to be more to the story than what we've been told - that Lindsay and her sister were used for law suits - but we just haven't gotten to the crux of it yet. I feel like we're on the edge of a breakthrough in this book, but nope just teetering over the edge.
What's nice here is that we get to see some great one on one time with Lindsay and each of the men. it's hot and not just in a sexual way since you know that can't happen. there are romantic notions and bonds being developed that make this story even more interesting to read. I can only hope that we get to see a happy ending - yet i think that knowing how skittish Lindsay is, it's going to be hard to get there.
It's another cliff hanger that we're left on - after nights of great passion and raunchy scening, she's making a choice again - where she needs to be and if she has to go on the run again- and based on her past, going on the run is what she'll do....where though? that's another question entirely and who's going to find her first - the threesome or her grandfather's hired guns?
I mix a little ménage in with my reading, especially when I need a change of pace. This is some pretty big ménage, if you know what I mean. The thing about this book series is that sex is actually secondary to the story. There is a real story being told underneath all the sex with these men! It is frustrating to me that I started this book not realizing it was a serial. Waiting weeks in between getting a few pages is frustrating. I would recommend waiting until the series is complete-- then you can have these men all at once, just like Lyndsay... Lol!
Book 3 in the Executive Toy series 3.8 stars This has been the best so far. These books are light, sexy and a quick read. Sometimes that is just what I need. Lyndsay still has her past that is trying to catch up with her. Romeo, Hawthorne, and Slade don't know a lot about her past, but when something happens to her, they are the first ones there to protect her. This book seemed to have more body to it and made you feel for her more, which is one of the reasons I liked it more.
In this installment the poop hits the fan. A friend of her grandfathers comes to the office with a gun and takes her. Knowing going back to her grandfather is the last LAST thing that can happen she throws a hail Mary and with it her only hope of survival. But at what cost?
Omg! This book is hot. Read it in one sitting. I was left with more questions than answers on Lindsey previous life but suspense makes the book more interesting. Definitely read in order of sequence so you can learn to love and hate the characters, I so hated Hawthorne but now not so much.
When Lindsay´s past starts getting really threatening, it´s time to cut her losses and run again. But will her bosses let her? Smutty fluff and dominance in a great combo. Can´t wait for more from this coupling.
*softly curses and tightning my fist* Damn serials ;) Gimme more!
I have enjoyed the series, however, it's time for the next book. I wasn't going to read series books anymore because it is so long in between books, but I made an exception in this case So, bring.
You get a glimpse of Lindseys past. I wonder what her grandfather has done when she was younger, and what will he do to her, if he finds her?? And why is Hawthorne covering for her, why not rat her out to Romeo or Slade?
