Therapy Session: Session Two

Rate this book
This last year has proven what I’ve already known. My marriage is strong. Strong enough to survive a decision most couples would never make.
And now it’s being tested again. This time, a weekend getaway with a person of our choice.
No lies, no boundaries but still…. no names.
The man I chose already knows how to look at me, already knows how to touch me without ever laying a hand on my skin.

So this weekend has to be the last chance to taste him, to feel him, before this turns into something dangerous and threatens the life I love.

Babbby I don't know it feels like they're not done with each other, that's why you have to be careful when you open certain doors cause it kinda feels like Breeze and Quentin have a soul tie 👀

I have to admit I didn't like Mercedes, like it's one thing if she knew the situation between Tim and Breeze and understood what he was open to but she immediately was inappropriate with him knowing he was married, it was weird to me, like she was overly freaked out, I don't care about their little past dealings she was moving a little too quick and thirsty for me without knowing all the facts.

It'll be interesting to see where this all goes because there HAS to be more!

Q be turning Breeze's coochie every way but loose!

From reading other reviews, I may be the only one that can’t stand Breeze, but that’s okay, I stand in that lol. I see people commenting about not liking Cedes, and yes, she was overly thirsty post-divorce, but Breeze was more insufferable to me. She played in Tim’s face choosing Dr. Long as a partner to begin with because therapy is supposed to be a neutral space to be vulnerable and real. She ruined that for him and he was none the wiser. My final straw for her was the post-club scene. That was not acceptable within the rules of their arrangement and I really didn’t like that. Breeze being best friends with Shareese also feels like a violation of their prearranged boundaries.

Overall, this book series, but especially this final book, reads as a cautionary warning against exploring your sexuality in relationships because it will only lead to dissatisfaction. Ironically, I think the goal was the opposite. But with the way the book ended, and the author explicitly stated in the note at the beginning that no other book is planned, Breeze and Tim’s marriage is more broken and unfulfilling than how they started from letting others in.

Dr. Long Stroke

Quentin Long could analyze me anytime he felt the need. Y'all we back on the couch for more therapy with Breeze and Tim. We get to see how Tim's 24 hours played out, and if he only knew who was across the courtyard from he and Cedes. When Q said Breeze left him in that wet bed without even tipping...I hollered! We get some unexpected happenings in this book and i feel there's still room for exploration. I don't want to spoil it for you, but if you liked book 1, book 2 is more eye-opening and liberating. Happy Reading Y'all!💋

I couldn't wait to dive into this one, as I needed to know what Tim did with his opportunity. Well, it didn't take long for him to find someone to spend his 24 hours with. He runs into a blast from the past while taking care of business. Sis was bold with her advances, not an ounce of hesitancy, and Tim's interest is now piqued. Cedes knows what she wants and goes after it. That night was 🥵🔥.
It's all out of their systems now, right? Hmmm... maybe?

Although I love Breeze and Q, the story concentrated so heavily on them, and I wanted to hear from Tim more. Especially after learning he was going to Costa Rica, and we learned not one thing about his trip! 🤬 Anywho, I enjoyed these therapy sessions.

Curiosity leads to cravings

Listen this could not EVER be me. Opening up your marriage for curiosity is never that simple. What was supposed to be a one time thing, then led to a long weekend, then possibly to 2 times a year smh. The boundaries of marriage are in place for a reason. When you test them you might just end up craving something that you never expected.

Breeze was a confused mess. I think their attempt to hash out their feelings was the right thing. The doubling back 🥴 not so much. I wish we would have gotten a pov from Tim, because I wanted to know if he was as tormented as she was. It was clear that Q was, he wanted Breeze badly and he had no problem handling her the way she wanted to be handled in the bedroom. So many lines were blurred and the way the author connected Q to Mercedes, I just knew it was about to get messy, but it didn't.

Breeze is now maintaining a solid marriage where she occasionally craves a man that isn't her husband 🥴

Although, I have the connect- I literally just finished reading this book from kindle unlimited.

This read was just as good as the other.
——

This book had me wide-eyed, cat clapping the whole read!

What you mean we get Tim’s encounter?

What you mean they up the ante to 48 hours?

What you mean they travel for said encounter?

What you mean multiplayer? Oooooooo….

Anyway, what I read will have Future blushing and good knees Megan doing a double take.

Yeah, the plot was amazing and the spice was muy caliente (can you tell I watched the Super Bowl).

Yes, you have to start with Book 1 which is about 105 pages (THERAPY SESSION).

Mind you, this is more spicy than book one BUT it does follow the same vibe of giving us a great story.

If you enjoyed that read, then I think you’ll love this one.

I love the attention to detail this author puts in her books and this was no different.

Leave your guesses and expectations at the door and just vibe out with this read!

Are The Questions Answered?!

Just what Author D Scott said, a lot of sex. Tim still keeping his trysts to himself and on the low. He probably had Mercedes dancing on the ceiling lol. Breeze would surprise me when she kept bringing up this so called hall pass twice a year, when Tim is happy with just her. It scares me that it may turn into more without her realizing. Obviously the first round of 24 or 48 hours did not kill the curiosity these two were having in their good relationship so they decided to take it a lil further and longer with the scary part being using the same person. Familiar, yes, but could attachment issues arise. I’m obviously biased as I so adore Breeze & Timothy together. I love how he loves on his wife and the communication is so clear and effortless between them. Author D kept it on B & Doc, and we know how that man ain’t nobody’s slouch, but why she keep Tim’s rondevuets such a secret? Like I said, he probably putting Cedes through the mattress because her forward, freaky behind went back the second time as well, right? As for now, everything is good but I will admit that Quinton did irk me when he saw B in the club, that was not a go to push up on her in the bathroom. Yes, her slow butt should’ve said no or stop, and then in his so called “end of services” email, he’s practically saying call me if you want more sex. Man, let it go and let Tim continue to do what he does to his wife, love her satisfactorily and completely.

Ready to sign them papers

Let me start off by saying, Tim would have been served papers. His night was not as fun as Breeze night. To think they were across from each other.

They always say if a man does your wife better than you, just leave. Dr. Long left a lasting impression and said, come home when you ready, IYKYK.

Familiarity does not equal love and can't no one convince me that Breeze and Quentin would not be a match made in heaven. They mesh like no other. He had my girl doing what she would not do for her life partner. Dreaming the impossible dream. I thought it was real there for a moment.

D. Scott, I just need a holiday short or something in the near future. Don't go messing up my fantasies because Mercedes is not it for him. I said what I said.

Rating 4.5⭐️ Therapy Session: Session Two is grown, bold and walking a very fine line between curiosity and chaos. This time around the stakes are higher. What started as exploration in the first session turns into a full blown test of trust, discipline and emotional control. A whole weekend no names no boundaries just vibes and choices that could either strengthen a marriage or crack it wide open.

Listen I was nosy about Tim’s side. I needed to know. When it unfolded I wasn’t even mad at it. He struggled with engaging with another woman just like Breeze. That man loves his wife. Hall pass and he still felt unease and guilt. Let’s talk about the part that had me clutching the air 🗣️THEY WERE IN THE SAME SPACES. Unknowingly crossing paths, watching each other without realizing it?? Turned on not knowing you're watching your partner being slutted out on the balcony. Whew that was top tier.

Breeze and Tim as a couple 🫶🏾 i'm all smiles for them. This wasn’t reckless. This wasn’t sloppy. This was two people who communicate, respect each other and make decisions together. Every choice felt intentional, even when it was risky. That’s what made it work because let’s be real a situation like this could go LEFT real fast. Instead, it highlighted something deeper trust, understanding and being real about your desires without tearing down what you’ve built.

Now don’t get me wrong this book is definitely spicy. The chemistry is loud. The energy is unapologetic. Underneath all that heat is a conversation about boundaries, honesty and what it really means to choose your partner over and over again.

Dr. Long I got questions too. Where the sign-up sheet at? Steamy, intriguing and just a little dangerous. You might have to change your panties when you finish.

Okay, Dr. Q!

Session Two by D. Scott? Oh, it ATE.

As the sequel to Therapy Session, I already knew I was walking in with expectations… and baby, it did not disappoint. From page one, I was locked back in. There’s just something about Dr. Q that is downright captivating. The man has that calm, controlled, low-voice energy that makes you feel like you need a session… or two… or three 👀.

Now let’s talk about Breeze. I was lowkey irritated (okay highkey 😭) because why couldn’t these two just stay away from each other? The tension? Thick. The pull? Magnetic. The back and forth had me clutching my imaginary pearls, but I couldn’t look away. Toxic? Maybe. Entertaining? Absolutely.

And Mercedes? Please. I did NOT trust her as far as I could throw her. When she popped back up, I was side-eyeing the page like, “Girl… what are you really doing here?” The suspense surrounding her kept me on edge the whole time.

The spice was a solid 4/5 🌶️—very mouthwatering, very enjoyable, very much had me fanning myself but still focused on the plot. It wasn’t over the top; it complemented the story perfectly.

Overall, this was an excellent read. Drama, tension, chemistry, and just enough heat to keep you flipping pages like your life depended on it. If you loved Therapy Session, this sequel is a must-read.

Now excuse me while I go schedule my own appointment with Dr. Q 😌📖

Book 2 of a Duology:

-more POV from the husband
-vivid spice
-healthy marriage communication & boundaries
-friendship
-new sexual exploration
-funny & relatable banter
-reviving sexual tensions from the past
-solid epilogue
-under 150 pages

This was an enjoyable concept. The couples dynamic was very refreshing to read. My only qualm was randomly getting no more POV from the husband. The storyline started off strong & randomly messy. I wanted to hear more about what happened with his sexual explorations. But, it abruptly ended and solely focused on the FMC. I wasn’t interested in the husbands endeavors, but, once it was introduced I expected a fully flushed out dual POV.

Overall, I enjoyed the side piece MMC Quentin the most, again. I would’ve been fine without reading book two. As a duology, both books are good though.

Baby listen to me!! After the way Book 1 ended, I was really hoping Breeze would just go ahead and admit that she was in love with Q. Buttttt here we are in Session Two and my girl said, “You know what? One more time won’t hurt…” except this time she wanted a whole weekend. 😮‍💨

And let’s talk about it , did y’all catch that little detail in the husband’s POV? Because why was that man at the SAME resort Breeze and Q had their little 24-hour situation at before? If you missed it, go back and peep it. The breadcrumbs are there!

Also… that woman on the husband’s side? Ma’am was not playing. She was applying pressure and this man barely had to lift a finger. I’m just saying! The dynamics in this one were messy in the most entertaining way.

This book isn’t long, but it packs enough drama and tension to keep you locked in. If you haven’t read the first Therapy Session, please get your life together and start there. You need that foundation before diving into this one.

Short. Spicy. Messy. And I’m absolutely seated for whatever comes next. 🔥📚

Babyyyyyyyyyy play Leon Thomas, Sneak.
I read this twice because I needed the full experience. Breeze loves her husband deeply because ain’t no way I could walk away from heaven on Earth!!! Shareese really knocked the wind out of me lol. I wanted B to explore and tour (if you know, you know). Tim is sneaky to me lol. It’s the way he plays the back and pretends he isn’t impacted as much. The email would of had me singing You, Me and He by Mtume. At this point let’s be one big family lol. Whewwwwww go read it

Welp🫣🤔

Hmm, I liked it, I def just think that Tim and Breeze should just separate. Personally they have to manny experiences they haven't had, i get they literally love each other from the bottom of each other's hearts but the chemistry that breeze and Quentin have is undeniable, not saying they should be a couple but be in an open relationship, for sure. I don't feel like it's emotion deep but def physical experiences need to be had.. I'm just saying

Another Session!!

This was a solid follow up to Therapy Session. I’m so happy to be right about my prediction from the first book. I will say I wish we could’ve spent the book with EVERYONE involved but I loved my time with B and Q. He was giving her exactly what she asked for and then some. I know we’re done but I wouldn’t mind finding out what went down in Costa Rica!

This is messy as hell—grown, spicy, and full of “ummm” moments. I thought one of the rules was no one we know!?

Breeze… I don’t know if you can really walk this back. I did love getting Tim’s POV, and Mercedes being bold and forward might actually make her the best match for him.

I’m still shocked at Quentin though. Is this even ethical, or is it just physical attraction? Adding Shareese, plus Quentin meeting Mercedes, only makes everything messier.

That said, this man was doing his job as a therapist. I loved the exercises and the open communication Breeze and Tim were able to have.😬📚

I throughly enjoyed Therapy Session: Session Two! Listen, Dr. Quentin Long is definitely added to the Book Bae list!! I just love the way that man handles business! lol!

It was good to read about Tim's encounter! I was glad that he was able to let go and experience everything his wife did!

**My Spoiler Thoughts**

I think that Breeze and Tim's relationship has run it's course! And not basing it off of their physical relations with other people but I felt that their relationship felt forced towards to the end of the book! Tim went along with EVERYTHING that Breeze wanted to do - and I lightweight didn't feel how she said NO to his wishes of bringing another person into their relations. BUT when she was with the Dr. was okay! That was weird to me!

So after this I felt like she was with her husband because they had been together for so long - but I felt that her and the Dr. had chemistry that was more than physical! And the way she was with him was more than what she got from her relationship! She needed someone to take control and her husband just didn't do that! I actually would've loved to see if he met back up with Mercedes again or someone else - because he didn't seem like he had everything out of his system!

But this is what happens when you open up your marriage! You have added a bunch of variables to a sacred relationship!

I couldn’t wait!!! It was absolutely worth the wait. Dr. Q is definitely the King of BDE in this moment. I do understand why Breze was so apprehensive, I think that her attraction to Q really scared her and maybe her conflict was the she didn’t trust herself to not go over the cliff and want Q on a more frequent basis.

Mercedes was a trip! Even before she knew that there was a possible arrangement. She was pushing up on Tim in a real disrespectful way, I don’t care if they were childhood neighbors or not. She gave extremely thirsty. I don’t really like her.

There absolutely has to be a third book right?!? Q has Mercedes phone number, what’s he gonna do with it and I just don’t feel like it’s the end for Breze and Q. I really don’t want it to be. This is a series that I could really see myself falling in love with, I’m already there. What I really wanna see happen is a poly relationship and we can even include Shanice in that. I think they’re marriage is strong enough to handle it.

Therapy Please😜

Exploring outside of a relationship can be good and bad at the same time. Let’s chat!!

First I have to say that once something new is sampled and enjoyed, doubling back is bound to happen. My girl had many fantasies and after that first encounter, my girl needed more with only one person who can fulfill them for her - Quentin🤭. What was funny was Timothy felt the same way. He wasn’t coming off wanting that other person involved 🤭. I never thought the husband could fulfill them needs but her love for him wasn’t just physical and she didn’t really expressed them🥰. Oh when that session happened and they expressed the purpose then that time frame, I knew then a time was about to be had. Listen, Mr. Q is and gave pure B.D.E throughout this read😜. That control and submission being then closed doors- babeeee!!

These was an enjoyable series and a time was definitely had. Can’t wait to see what next for the author but hope someone is getting put through another mattress🤭😜!!

I love a good mental health professional in romance… but let’s be clear — rule #1 is don’t date your client. That’s Ethics 101. Immediate license in danger. We all know this.

Now that we’ve acknowledged the red flag?
This book was TOO GOOD and entirely too spicy for my moral high ground to survive.

Dr. Long?? Sir. If there were a masterclass titled How to Put a Woman Through the Mattress, he’d be the keynote speaker. The stamina. The confidence. The audacity.

And Breeze out here asking the real question:
“Am I missing something you’ve never experienced?”

Ma’am. The answer is clearly yes because every “just one more time” turned into five to seven business days of repeat behavior.

It was messy. It was unethical. It was hot.
And I’m not proud of how much I enjoyed it.

Also… the chemistry had such strong throuple potential and I will continue manifesting book three. The universe is listening.

Breeze is strong, baby…. because Lawd. The way I wouldn’t turn Dr. Long loose!!!

This was an excellent follow up to
book one! Chile, Breeze is back
for a second helping of her favorite prescription… none of then Dr. Q. Long🥵. And the spice was kicked up an extra notch in this one! I thoroughly enjoyed getting her husband’s POV from his own sexual side quest and how it dives into the real life struggle most couples face in not getting their some of their desirables out of their partner and wondering if they can continue living without it with their partners or explore opportunities where they can get that thing without jeopardizing their relationship.

I hope this is not the end for real. I would love a follow up of Dr. Long and Tim’s vacation,

Overall, highly recommend!!

no words .. I’m left speechless

I rarely leave written reviews anymore on books because I haven’t been impressed enough. D Scott, you’re a RARE GEM for this. To be able to write such an amazing story without the excess wording, repetitive phrases, or unnecessary drawn out scenes, is absolutely phenomenal! The overall objective of this story is a very sensitive subject in relationships all over the world. I hope more than anything that these kind of stories are not just entertainment , but real life lessons & inspiration for others. So much suppression & not enough LIVING. I am amazed. Keep bringing the heat!! I know there is no part 3 because there has to be a stopping point but … does it have to 🙃. I mean .. even the married friends are LIT! 😂

Breeze and Timothy are back, and this time we really get to see how Tim spent his 24 hours. Let me just say… his time was just as eventful as Breeze’s 👀

In this installment, Breeze takes a weekend to explore desires that she and Tim may not be fully comfortable stepping into together, and I’m not even gonna lie… the level of maturity it takes for them to have these twice-a-year “hall pass” moments? Couldn’t be me 😂 but I did appreciate how intentional they were about it. Nothing felt reckless. It was very much about understanding themselves and protecting their relationship at the same time.

I enjoyed seeing both sides of this dynamic and how they navigate it as a couple. And Dr. Long? I liked how he terminated his services lol.
