DEAR READER: "Too Far" is no longer available. "Hidden Talents: A deliciously twisted m/m trilogy" is the recently published, full series in one volume. See it on Goodreads here.

Hidden Talents is a serial work. This is book #8.
Ken's Talent has grown to enormous proportions in the past month, ever since he agreed to accept a few tips and tricks from Jin -- whose obsession the secretive prodigy has reached full capacity. But as they take their strange relationship to new levels in Jin's hotel suite, the winds are changing fast.

After years of meticulous planning and preparation, Jackson is finally ready for the show to begin. Defeating KGA will be the greatest of victories, but it won't come without a cost. Jackson's not looking forward to telling Jin that his time with Ken is nearly over...or revealing what's really in store for the strange young Talent who's claimed Jin's heart.

But before all that, a few last pieces must fall into place -- and one is a sacrifice. The other Talents have done their best to prepare for the storm they sense on the way. But how will they handle losing one more of their own?

I think this series has turned out to be a very good series. I really like this author's writing. Her characters are very well developed and her plotting is good. My only negative comment on this series is that the editing could be much better. This is a pet peeve of mine and although I realize that this particular series has been offered by the author for free, I still think that the editing has to be better. Editing errors like not noticing a missing word or not making note of a sentence that doesn't make sense really take me out of the story. I am reading along and then a word is left out of a sentence. I have to stop thinking about the story and then think about what word (or phrase) the author really meant to be in that sentence. Things like this really work against the flow of the story.
Maybe I'm being too picky about a free story. I do hope that if the author some day decides to charge her readers for this series, that re-editing will take place.
I do highly recommend this series. It's very interesting and has some really interesting characters. I really like the relationship between Jin and Ken and hope that the series will have a good ending.

Couldn't put it down

I've been following the "Talents" sense book one, and as ways I was not disappointed. The characters are growing and the plot is becoming more intriguing. While I look forward to book 9, it will bittersweet as it will be the finale of the series.
