Ever start reading a book with great subject, promising exciting revelation on how the universe functions (or some other subject that might be fascinating you?)
Then a chapter into the book you begin to skip sentences.
Then you begin to skip paragraphs.
Then you begin to skip pages
Then you begin to skip chapters.

This is that kind of book.

Rather hackneyed, too scattered, with elements of mysticism and unproven 'facts'.

Now reading "the Cosmic Landscape". Totally engaging - no temptation whatsoever to skip sentences or paragraphs or . . .

She deserves two stars for the effort of writing a book (I haven't written a book yet).

For a book about time travel, it's got a great subject, but the book just never really gets going. It's sort of a list of movies and books that mention time travel, the occasional anecdote about purported time travel, an odd comment here and there from other writers and scientists about time travel and its possibilities, but none of the pieces seem to come together in a coherent whole.
If you want to learn more about time travel I would suggest sticking with Michio Kaku books, Brian Greene lectures, or Sean Carrol's excellent course with The Great Courses, Mysteries of Modern Physics: Time.

This book taught me a lot about space and time travel. One thing that occured a lot in this book is the authors mentioning movies that are related to time travel. I liked that because so I could actually watch those movies to gain more knowledge about time travel. This book is really good and easy to read. It is not composed of college level intense languages that I had read in some other books.

Very enjoyable book, the authors cover a wide spectrum of beliefs on the topic while leaving it up to the reader to decide what they think about the various theories.
