Jess’ editor, Leyla wants to jump on the ‘mommy porn’ bandwagon, with a sexy blog, and she thinks Jess is just the girl to do it. Jess is given the List, which gives each sexy scenario and also the names and numbers of people who indulge in the weird and wonderful sex stuff, should she wish to ask their advice or expert opinion.

Jess’s latest freelance assignment is a “list” of sexy scenarios to try out. Her busy boyfriend Max is enthusiastic about the variety of sensual adventures. Until they reach the “threesome” option. Max is keen, but if they go too far will they risk everything?

This book should have been called "How to Spice up you're love life in 12 days" :P

Why?

Because after Jess gets her new writing assignment she has to see if anyone can go from Vanilla to kinky in just fourteen days...or in this case if she and her boyfriend Max can spice things up in the bedroom, or sometimes outside the bedroom :P

After Jess gets Max to agree to having their sex life plastered all over the internet they start the journey to see what they can do and what they can't...

Day 1 - Role-play - You can be whatever you want in the bedroom: the innocent nanny, the naughty nurse, a nun, the bitchy boss, etc. All you have to do is find a scenario that works for the both of you and play it out. It guarantees some fireworks in the bedroom :D

description

Day 2 - Sex toys - Just walk into a sex shop and let you're imagination run free...

description

Day 3 - Watch a porn film - Guaranteed sex during or afterwards...or both :P

description

Day 4 - Take pictures (and send them to each other) - Only do it if you're sure you're partner will keep them for himself. It makes one hell of a foreplay :D

description

Day 5 - Record yourself having sex - Pretty explanatory...just make sure it doesn't end up on youporn :))

description

Day 6 - Sex outdoors - Anything and anywhere is possible: in the car, at the park, in the sea, on the roof of you're building, in the pool, in the elevator...Just don't get caught :P

description

Day 7 - Spanking - Just remember...this can go both ways :D

description

Day 8 - Bondage - Watch The Fifty Shades of Grey movie for a little inspiration :P

description

Day 9 - Voyeurism - Go to a sex club so you don't get arrested. You don't necessarily have to play...you can just watch...

description

Day 10 - Golden showers -Yeah...not going there. Curious? Google it!

description

Day 11 - Bun fun Max: 'Mine or yours?' Jess grinned. 'Either I guess'

description

Day 12 - Threesome - Tough decision: Boy or girl? In this book? A hot girl :P

description

Sooo...I got some pretty great ideas from this book :D Wanna guess what they are? :P

2.5 stars.

Unfortunately this book didn't do anything for me although I do think many people will enjoy this, it just wasn't my cup of tea and I'll explain why.

First, I have no problems reading romances that are all about the sex and have little story. I enjoy a good smutty read so I was expecting to like this. Unfortunately I just didn't find the sex sexy at all, which brings me to my next point.

I like my romances kinky, vanilla sex bores me and while this book seemed like it was going to be full of kinky fun, it wasn't. The couple would attempt something new, a sex toy, send some photos etc then follow it up with a paragraph of quick vanilla sex. Not fun.

The way the scenes were written also didn't appeal to me. They felt awkward and again, not sexy.

I also prefer dominant heroes, the sexy alpha male type and the guy in this book (whose name I've already forgotten) had no presence at all.

I think the problem is I've read so many really excellent BDSM romances with brilliantly written kink that this book just couldn't compare.

I think if you usually read vanilla romances you might find something different in Spice but it just wasn't for me.

Jess is given an assignment - to go from vanilla to kink in 14 days... and blog about it for EVERYONE to read!

I really liked this one. it was written in a way that everyone can relate to. the characters, Jess & Max, are both wary of the list she has been given but are willing to try new things together. just like a real life couple, they find some things work for them, whilst others are no-go or never-to-be-returned-to zones.

it was also fun to read. the pairs inhibitions, naivety, and curiosity make the story light and funny, while also strengthening the bond between them.

Wow...this book was nothing like I expected. In a GOOD way, definitely. I expected a shallow and purely sexual read and I was fine with that. It's the story of Jess and Max and their relationship as it progresses through a job assignment of Jess's. She's a journalist and her assignment is to blog about a couple that attempts to go from vanilla to kinky in 14 days. The couple? Her and Max.
Jess has a list of 14 sexual activities that range from pretty tame to super kinky and she's supposed to have her and Max perform one everyday then blog about it. At first Max is uncomfortable and opposed to airing their private life out on the blog. When Jess shows him the list starts with something simple he feels a little more relaxed about it.
I won't tell you the things on the list so as not to spoil the story. As each day passes they both start feeling more excited about what the next day will bring. They truly enjoy themselves. After three days Jess notices that "talking more about sex and planning what they were going to do had brought them closer." This was an unforeseen benefit for them.
As each day goes by it becomes evident in small things that "the list" is improving their relationship outside of the bedroom and even benefiting each individual. Max usually comes home after a long day at work cussing and frustrated, now he's coming home enthusiastically anticipating what they're going to do that night.
Besides reaping their own rewards from being active participants, readers of the blog are also talking about it and using it as the catalyst to add spice to their own sex lives.
I feel the need to mention that they DO bring a third person into their bedroom. Now, I read lots of erotica. I love kinky sex scenes. However, when they did this I cried. Literally cried. I think it was because this book hadn't been the shallow sex book I had thought it would be. Up until 83% it was a sweet love story about the monogamous sex life of an almost perfect couple. I found myself wanting a man like Max. If felt dirty and wrong to have him touching and getting touched VERY intimately by another woman. The fact that Jess was in actuality fighting deeper sexual feelings for this woman after their threesome also upset me. I don't see how she could love Max like she says but still have such a hard time stopping herself from cheating with another woman and he was at work.
They did end up deciding not to add another person again, and she didn't have good feelings after all of that. Which I was glad of, but it didn't take it away. They'll both always know they had done it. If that part had been left out of the book I would've given it 5 stars. I just felt like it didn't fit their personalities or what their relationship had been built up to be. I was hurt and disappointed.
I'm glad they realized they only wanted each other, I just wish it hadn't taken that sort of extreme situation to realize it. I still highly recommend the book. It's well written and steamy as well as sweet, for the most part.
They do get their HEA and I was happy with the way the book ended.

I was provided a copy of this book for an honest review. I was pulled in by the synopsis & my attention was held by the great writing. I liked the concept of the story being that a writer for a magazine blog is given an assignment to write about different peoples sex lives & fetishes. Along with interviewing people who dabble in kink the writer Jess & her longtime boyfriend Max are supposed to try the different things on the list. It was interesting to see how at the beginning both were very apprehensive about the whole thing but decided to give the list a try for Jess's career. As they did a different thing on the list each night you could see how it affected both of them. Jess had some moments of uncertainty or self conscienceness but she would work through it. By the end of the list you could see how it drew Max & her closer together. How even though they were deeply in love before you could tell that they had gotten into a routine & even though they had a good sex life before it was the same as always. It read very true to life to me in that respect that after years of being with someone that sometimes you've got to switch it up & spice it up to keep the spark alive. I could relate to Jess & to me that shows how well written this book is. You should be able to relate & connect with the characters which I was able to do. I'm so glad that I took the chance & read this book, can't wait to read more by this author. I also want to say that even though it looks like it took me forever to read this book that it had nothing to do with the storyline or writing but my hectic life & other deadlines getting in the way. Definitely take a chance on this book & read it you won't be disappointed.

Can you go from vanilla to kinky in fourteen days? Jessie is going to try if it's possible. Jessie works for Fresh Vibe magazine and she has been told by her boss to write a blog about her sex life. She is given a list of sexual things to try with her boyfriend Max and on that list there are people that have tried and have enough experience to let her know how it is within their life.

I thought this story was good. I also thought the plot of it was cute. There were parts of the story that were funny and there were parts, that got me thinking, if I would ever try that. I enjoyed Jessie and Max's sexual adventure and how they were able to do some of these sexual activities. I have to give Jessie some credit because there were some things that were uncomfortable to do, but she was able to get through the task and think about if she would ever do it again. Also, I loved the courage she had to be able to write about her experience on a blog for so many people to read. At one, point in the book, Jessie thought about her relationship with Max and she wondered if she is suppose to be with him. This whole experience for her, she had to think about things that she's never thought of before and think good and hard if it's worth her relationship.

Good story. I would read future books from this author.

Freelance write Jess, finds herself overwhelmed at the opportunity to take a new position blogging for Fresh Vibe magazine.. The catch?
She has to write about her love life.
Along with her boyfriend Max, Jess begins the journey of introducing one of 14 "non vanilla" situations into their nightly routine.

Umm.. Wow. I think I'm speechless!! Haha!
Honestly, I loved this book. While I couldn't relate to all the "situations", I could relate to some.
I laughed at times. I loved the authenticity of this book. The realistic feelings of confidence and insecurities the characters had.

I would suggest anyone wanting to read this one, should have an open mind. This book is not for the faint of heart. It is full of sexual situations that maybe uncomfortable for some readers, including a M/F/F scene.

I am secretly laughing as when I read the synopsis that I was given of this book I first though “what am I going to be reading here with that title” well this book is nothing like I imagined and I think most of you will also feel that way LOL.
This is the story of Jess and Max and the way their relationship grows through her new assignment.
Jess is a journalist who has a very intriguing assignment to carry out. She has to research a couple who normally have a very vanilla sexual relationship but now wants a more erotic experience. The funny thing is the couple is Jess and Max.
Armed with what activities and experiences Jess has to blog about each day she lets Max know about all that is required and you can just feel the blood drain from his face. He is not overly happy or excited about it all but to her credit Jess does suggest to get him comfortable they start with something a bit simple then work their way up, Phew I hear you say, well I just got the feeling Max did the same LOL.
As the day’s go on and they discuss each day what is next or what they are doing, you can see their relationship growing stronger and they are actually looking forward to exploring more and seeing where it leads. It is great to see that they are not being prudish about it all but embracing it and realising that this is the best thing to happen to them for their relationship as let’s face it, it was a bit vanilla and stagnant.
Not only do Max and Jess have a better sexual life but they have a better life in general, no longer is their day to day hum drum but there is an anticipation and excitement to the day. They actually enjoy their jobs a bit more now; they enjoy coming home and discussing their day and their whole attitude changes. Not only that but Jess is noticing that people who are reading the blog are commenting on how they are spicing up their sex lives from reading the articles and how these are changing their lives which is a major boost for Jess as well as Max.
I do have to warn you though at one point in the story, there is a third person which I was not all that amused about. I liked Max being on his own with Jess and the thought of someone else being with him just didn’t sit right with me as well as Jess having feelings for the woman in the mix. I felt it was not necessary. I liked the relationship that Jess and Max built up themselves, the closeness they were finding together as well as the trust and although the other woman was not a permanent fixture and Jess and Max have that with them all the time.

The book is well written and the story is good but I feel I had to warn you about the third person.

We all love a bit of sexy reading don’t we? We also love an insight into what goes on behind closed doors. It’s nothing to be embarrassed or ashamed about we’re all the same haha. Spice gives us exactly what we want, sexy reading with the insight into someone else’s relationship.

The concept of Spice for me was spot on. For it to be able to stand out in the erotica or new adult world nowadays it needed to be different, and it was. It reads fast and fluid which is great in an erotica read. But I did have a few issues with it. First being what I felt was a lacking in description at times throughout though. I also have to be totally honest and say I found heroine Jess a bit of a dickhead too. Far too full of herself, and one of those people who just grate and grate on you. I also found her quite naive when it came to sex, and because of that it was just hard and I repeatedly rolled my eyes. I also found it hard after the list was finished to get back into the story because once the list started everything else seemed to stop. I would have appreciated more story in between the sex. For me it would have given it a better build up and I would have enjoyed it a lot more.

Overall though I found the book to be a good read. It made me smile and had me engaged. I can see a lot of people taking the list for themselves also which is a great thing. Opening people’s minds or giving them just that little bit of confidence to do something different is always brilliant and the fact that reading can do that is even better.

3/5

Jess and Max are in a three year committed relationship when Jess is approached by her editor to write a blog about going from "Vanilla" to "Kinky" in two weeks. Jess didn't even know what "Being Vanilla" which I thought was pretty funny. Anyway, besides that one part that I thought was funny, the rest of the book was pretty HOT. Could you do it? Could you go from "Vanilla" to "Kinky" in two weeks? Would you have the guts to do everything on the list? This was a steamy quick read that I will be reading again.

I liked the premise of this book…vanilla to kinky in 14 days, can it be done? Well I must say that Jess and Max gave it a good shot!

The different scenarios were well played out by the couple and were well recounted by Ms Smith. I would have liked a bit “harder” vocabulary, especially from Max but maybe he hasn’t got right down into the kinky!

This was a very hot and horny read and it was easy to see how Max would be up for the challenge! There was a bit of humour in the book when they were trying different things. I was disappointed that Jess wasn’t keen on the butt plug as much as Max hahaha. That’s a turn up for the books but fair play to him for giving it a go.

I really liked how Ms Smith managed to tell a story with plenty of sex where the sex didn’t overshadow the story. It flowed well and I would definitely read more from this author.

When I read the blurb of Spice I knew immediately that I wanted to read it. It had potential to be really fun and also to be a bit less flimsy than a lot of erotic fiction where the characters don’t require personalities and the story is literally just ‘let’s have sex’. Don’t get me wrong, this story is quite a lot of ‘let’s have sex’ but there’s a structure and a bit more of a point to it than in many examples of erotica I have read.

The story follows Jess who is a fairly normal young woman – attractive but not crazy super model hot – with all the typical hangups about her body and life and her boyfriend Max – again, a normal kind of guy – attractive but not unrealistically so. They are not married but the prospect isn’t off the cards, they’re in a stable, long-term relationship and when Jess gets given the blog assignment they are a realistic combination of excited and nervous about the prospect. It’s a big step deciding to put your sex life on the internet for all the world (and your mother!!) to read, especially if it’s going to start wandering into the world of kinky.

The balance between Jess ‘researching’ each item on the list by talking to people who are into whatever it is created a great build-up to each one and let her explore her feelings on each topic. Some she was immediately excited by and looked forward to trying, others made her apprehensive – this made her easy to relate to as a character. I’m sure most of us would experience similar emotions when faced with her situation – I particularly liked the scene where she had to buy sex toys from a sex shop and had the downright fear and embarrassment that she was being judged on her purchases. I get that when I’m buying the food shop in a supermarket never mind if I was having to buy multi-coloured cock rings and a porn film!

The story kept its realism by there being a couple of things on the list that Jess and Max weren’t keen on – they tried stuff out and decided it wasn’t for them and in at least one case just flat out refused to do it because they just didn’t want to at all. Again, this gave them a bit of depth as characters and built their relationship as they talked things through.

There was a bit of conflict and drama at the end so the story felt complete and didn’t get flat and boring like some erotic fiction can when there’s nothing but sex scene after sex scene. The story was simple but satisfying and felt like it had a point which was great.

The sex itself was well written and raunchy without being ridiculous or weird – it’s a pretty steamy ride and there is A LOT of sex. Unsurprising with such a long list to get through in a fortnight, really. ;)

I don’t often give out five star reviews to erotic fiction – but Spice had that sparkle that so many others lack. It had a personality and it left me smiling at the end – and not in a ‘thank heavens that’s over’ kind of way.

This wasn’t quite the story I expected. It was definitely more descriptive and vividly imaginative than I expected. I enjoyed the storyline of a freelance journalist been asked to write a blog for the magazine she worked on. It seemed quite realistic and was how I would picture my favourite magazine working on their articles and features.

I was surprised by the in depth detail and amount of sexual references and themes. Having read the synopsis I am not quite sure what I was expecting from this side of the story but I found it quite descriptive and in depth and yet it didn’t put me off. I have to say that there is probably a handful of pages that do not have sexually explicit content on them.

It actually made me blush in parts and made me question my own lifestyle choices and whether I was too ‘vanilla’ or not. It got me thinking about my own relationship and brought to life quite a taboo subject that most people don’t generally talk about in public. I was glad that some of the things on ‘the list’ Jess and Max said they wouldn’t try and just didn’t understand what was enjoyable about it as I also don’t understand why people do them. I would have liked to be able to read the blog Jess was writing just because I felt like it was so real and the Fresh Vibe magazine is one I would most likely read in real life!

Overall I really enjoyed this book and I think it’s one that more people will relate than they perhaps realise although it is probably best to enjoy it in private unless you enjoy reading these kinds of stories in public!

Aside from being initially surprised and blushing in parts I enjoyed this story and will read more by this author.

I was gifted this book for an honest review.

This was such a fun read. Everybody should definitely add Spice in their life. The main characters, Jess and Max were a great, fun loving couple. Jess worked part time for a magazine but one day her boss decided she wanted Jess to write on a daily blog about sex, particularly her own sex life with Max but with a twist, she had to work through a list. Well would your partner agree to you writing about his performance every night? Max is a great guy, works hard, it's clear he loves Jess. His first reaction is a big NO but later he agrees to try as long as she writes how good he is in bed LOL. Men such predictable creatures at times. So the list, let's just say it's a kinky list. To find out what's on that list, you'll have to read. Read what they do and don't do. Jess and Max's friends know as they kept track of her updates on the blog. Max would be patted on the back by his mates. Jess would be asked twenty questions by her girlfriends, some friends even thought about trying a few things. As you can imagine, Max was in heaven, Jess was the best partner any man could ask for. Jess loved Max and she could see them married sometime in the future. No couple can have the perfect relationship, we wouldn't be normal if we didn't disagree from time to time or feel differently about certain situations but if you love someone deep down and your relationship is strong enough you can overcome most things. A few rocky moments in this book had me thinking, oh no where's the Author going with this. I enjoyed it so much, I was hoping for a smiley happy ending. I recommend you Spice up your to be read list and add this book.

Spice is such a fun book! Freelance blogger Jess has a list of different kinks to try every day - is it possible to go from vanilla to kinky in just 14 days? It is such a great idea for a book, I haven't read anything like it before. As the title suggests, this book is fabulously spicy, and is hot, hot, hot! Scarlet Smith has done a great job with this novella, I enjoyed her writing style and flashes of humour - and she definitely knows how to write a good sex scene!

This was such a sexy book, with a big variety of sexual adventures. Jess' list covered almost every kink you could think of, and Jess and Max gave most of them a good go! There was one though that I was very glad they decided wasn't for them! The sex scenes were sensual, believable and oh so hot - fab! I especially liked the role playing scenes, and appreciated the imagination and effort that went into them.

I loved both Jess and Max - they were both so sexy, adventurous and enthusiastic (especially Max!). I would have liked to know a bit more about them, but we knew enough to make this story work. There was emotion towards the end of the book which took the story to another level, giving it more of a realistic feel. I absolutely loved the ending for this fabulous pair.

If you are looking for a short, sexy, easy read then Spice is definitely for you. I enjoyed reading this story and I will be looking out for more books by this author. Spice gets four sexy, spicy stars.

Jess for a great magazine and she is more than happy with her boyfriend Max. Their sex life is wonderful and she couldn’t be more in love.

Well, just then her boss Leyla wants her to write a blog about a sexy list of sex scenarios. Jess is not sure about it at first, but after thinking about it and asking Max they decide to do it.

For both of them it is an adventure of trying out new things and to go over their usual boundaries. It was great reading about it and the scenes were really sexy and hot. When the threesome option comes up, they are both unsure, do they really wanna risk it?! Well, the book only got interesting from that moment onwards. Before I felt that there wasn’t a real storyline and the characters seemed shallow and not authentic. Their feelings were finally included and it made me question their future.

Some things in the story seemed unreal and didn’t really make sense. Everything developed so fast, without including real emotions. That was a bit of a pity, because the idea behind it is great and I really enjoyed the writing, especially the flirty and passionate scenes.

Spice is a realistic erotic Novella written by the newly published Scarlet Smith. She sent me a Review Copy and i read it as part of my 2015 reading challenge. Started March 22nd finished March 23rd.

It is rare for me to give short pieces of work a full five stars as I'm not a big fan of stories that finished quickly....however...Spice is one of those rare moments where anything longer and it wouldn't have been as amazing.
I describe Spice as a realistic erotica because the story of Jess & Max is set so realistically it's incredibly hard not to relate it to the real world, to Peoples lives.

I loved the concept of this novella, Vanilla to Kinky in 14 days. How it takes on a little sideline of being a guide, for all sorts of people, a guide to help them learn more about their sexuality or even Spice things up...For Jess and Max, Fresh Vibe's assignment provided both. What will Spice provide for you? Be prepared for:

Exciting Methods of Foreplay
Hot Relatable Sex
Challenges of Sexuality and everything in-between

Read Spice today. See what you'll discover and find out if
Jess and Max's exciting exploration ends with pleasure & happiness or will everything fall apart?

Firstly thank you to Mischief (Avon) for approving me for this title. I requested it after Scarlet got in touch with my via my facebook page www.facebook.com/erinschoice.

The story is about freelance writer Jess and her next saucy assignment.

When I say saucy assignment I mean a list of sexy things to try with her boyfriend. This novella is quite raunchy in parts and won’t be to everyone’s taste (there was a bit of it that was a bit woah for me too) but considering the blurb you should have an inkling for what you’re in for before you even start to read.

Jess is quite a relatable character. In a long term relationship, worried about maintaining the spark that she had with her partner and eager to impress at work too. I’m not sure if I would want to be putting my sex life on the web un-anonymously but Jess seems like a “try everything once”, carefree person. Max her partner kind of looked a bit geeky in my mind but quickly became as hot as any other book boyfriend the further I read.

If you enjoy romance and erotica then this short novella will be right up your street. I read this in under an hour and the high standard of writing has ensured I’ll look out for more from Scarlet.

This is the first book that I have read from this author.

It is set in the UK, which I loved as a British reader and I realised how much I missed reading things in my beloved British "isms".

The book is centred around a list of sexy things that Jess has to do for her blog to see if a couple can go from "vanilla" to "kinky" in two weeks.

Jess is already in a relationship with Max and the book takes them on a journey through the list.

The attention to detail on the scenes where Jess and Max tackle the items on the list are brilliant, it's obvious that the author did some research and this was reflected in the writing.

This book is sexy, funny and you can't help but love Jess and Max and their conquests and failures throughout the list.

The sexy bits are great, I can't really fault this book, it was a breath of fresh air to read something so original and absorbing.

I'm looking forward to reading more from this author in the future.

Jess is a sweet character. She is chosen by her boss to write a blog about a list given to her about sex and kink. You know all that 50 shades drama and the curiosity behind it! She is a freelance writer and wanting a full time job knows she really can't turn down this assignment. I enjoyed this read and it was steamy. Max being the ever wonderful boyfriend agrees to try the list after a little "convincing" on her part. Max seemed up for the challenge especially after the guys in the office tells him how lucky he is and being that their wives are reading her blog and telling them all the things they have been up to behind closed doors. It was a good read. Not to mention the HOT cover!! I am a cover nerd! Hot Hot Hot!! Nicely played!

I received this ARC from the author via Net Galley. Thank You Net Galley!!

**ARC given on behalf of obsessed by books for a honest review.**
omg, I'm going to be honest I wasn't sure about this book, cause it didn't start out bad boy meets girl, girl falls for bad boy which I love, but I'm so glad I read it. its one of my favorite reads. Jessie works for a magazine company who want her to blog about sex about how you can go from vanilla to kinky in 14 days. oh what a ride. Jessie discusses with her boyfriend of 3 years Max. He agrees and I'll be honest I fall in love with Max you sense how much he loves Jessie even when they attempt their threesome. I smiled the whole time reading this book and thought this list is something me and my husband could try lol. I truly loved this book I enjoyed the characters of Jessie and Max. very well written. definitely a must read.

I absolutely LOVED this book. It was funny, sexy, and wonderful all wrapped up in a single book.

Jess, is given a new assignment from her boss to write a blog while acting out/doing sexy things with her boyfriend, Max. How far will they go? What will Max refuse to do?

This book is one of my favorites. It is oh so steamy and sexy in a tasteful way. I think it is perfect for people who are on the fence about trying new things in the bedroom. Jess and Max are great characters and their journey through the list was amazing to read. If you're wondering if you should buy this book. My answer is a resounding YES! GO! NOW! You'll thank me for it.........and so will your boyfriend/husband!

This is a good and entertaining read for those who are curious about kink, but new to it. It presents a loving, unmarried couple who are tasked, for the woman's job as a freelance journalist, to explore and report on their experiences with her editor's list of different non-vanilla sex practices.. Starting with simple role-play, it progresses through such things as outdoor sex, mild spanking, mild BDSM, to voyeurism and threesomes. There are items on the list the couple decides not to explore. All in all, a good read for people new to these types of experiences.

I was provided a copy of this book from the author for an honest review. The blurb caught my attention right away, unique and interesting. The magazine writer Jess has to go from vanilla to kinky in 14 days, her latest assignment. There are quite a few steamy scenes as you'd expect, and I particularly like the authenticity of these, down to the slightly awkward moments, and how they were feeling. Sexting, threesomes, home-made videos, toys, role play etc are only some of what you can expect to find in this book. Overall great read.

Received an ARC from NetGalley for an honest review.

I really enjoyed this...until it got to the end. I was left very confused by the whole Monty thing...probably even more so than Jess. I appreciated Jess and Max and how descriptive their scenes were, but I wish it had more of Max's point of view. There was what, one or two random scenes giving his perspective? I needed more and I really wish there had been a better ending. There was no closure with Monty and it made me feel like Jess only agreed to marry Max because she was worried about her reaction to Monty.

After reading a section on Scarlet Smith's website, I had to go and buy this book to read the rest! I thoroughly enjoyed this book, and I hope Scarlet Smith writes more! I felt this book was very balanced, the humour, Jess and Max's relationship, and the erotic scenes were blended extremely well, so that one did not overpower the other. I especially loved some of Max's comments and reactions to the task ahead, some really making me laugh out loud.
Sexy, realistic, fun and easy to read I fully recommend this book! Big 5 stars from me!

Super Hot!!! I could not put this down. It was a great story. I loved how Scarlet Smith wrote. I whole idea of a sex assignment was a great idea. This book is great for lots of people. This book could even be classified as educational. Even I want to try a couple of the things on the list that i haven't already. My only complaint was the awkwardness between the three of them in the end. But overall very Well done. Will be looking for other books from this author.

Copy from Netgalley

I thought this was a hot read. It felt real, the situations and the characters themselves were something I could read and really believe in. There were a lot of situations that had me smiling, and quite a few that had me blushing and smiling. I think if people were into this genre then they would love this book, as it would keep them very very entertained!
