Kismet Leawood is a well-known pain in the ass, especially when it comes to his mom. He sleeps with her boyfriends to get her attention, which is pure insanity. Not because it's unhinged—it never works. Yet, he keeps doing it. He's lonely. When his half brothers pull away because he's a troublemaker, he comes up with a plan to hurt his oldest one, Nathan. It goes a little something like this: flirt with Nathan's biological father, who's currently in prison. What Kismet doesn't account for is Ezio getting out from behind bars sooner than expected.

Kismet needs to pivot fast. If Ezio or Nathan find out the truth, his world will come crashing down. The more time he spends with Ezio, the more he feels loved and appreciated. With each passing day, the idea of letting Ezio go becomes more daunting.

Oh boy, Kismet is something else. He’s a sweet, delicate twink, but a pain in the ass. He fucks every single boyfriend of his mom. Just to hurt her. She is cold, so she isn’t impressed. She isn’t a good mom, she’s never there for her sons.
Kismet is lonely, and his brother Nathan (from a different father) is the next one to leave him.
Kismet never sees him anymore since he’s working for their uncle. To hurt him, he flirts with Nathan’s dad, who’s in prison.

Ezio is free! And the first thing he does is find Kismet. They had contact for so long, and he wants him badly, sweet sexy Kismet with his delicious panties.

Oops, Kismet didn’t expect Ezio to get free in a long time, and here he is. They are thrilled to be together.

Kismet desperately wants a Daddy, and Ezio is it for him. Ezio wants nothing more than to be Daddy to his princess. He’s protective and beats down everyone who touches Kismet.
There’s just one tiny (big) problem, Nathan doesn’t know Kismet is fucking his dad, and Ezio doesn’t know Kismet is Nathan’s brother.

Try to imagine what will happen when Ezio finds out.

Ezio and Kismet both have a high sex drive! There are a lot of delicious hot moments to enjoy,
Besides the relationship difficulties, there’s more to enjoy, including the uncle’s business, family issues, and more.
Overall, an entertainingly written story, and while the mc’s are morally grey, there’s something sweet about them.

This was so good! I love the brother’s father trope but this one took it a step further: mother’s ex AND brother’s father 🥵

Kismet wanted to get revenge on his mother and brother and the best way for him to do so was to seduce his brother’s father while he was in prison. They communicated for months and while Kismet’s initial plan was revenge, Ezio turned out to be the perfect man for him.

But nothing that starts as a lie can last and that’s exactly what happens when Kismet gets discovered by Ezio. The plans of telling him the truth went out the window the moment Ezio learned the truth the wrong way.

What seemed to be doomed after the truth came out, turned out to be the start of something lasting and beautiful. Ezio’s love for Kismet was too strong to let him go.

Yes, Kismet was wrong in lying yo Ezio but he deserved to be happy. After being neglected by the person who was supposed to love him but didn’t, he deserved someone to whom he was the center of their world.

I really enjoyed this story. I loved how precious Ezio made Kismet feel and how he let him know he was more than enough.

From the start of the story, Kismet and Ezio are already in contact with each other. We don't get to see how they meet or get to this point, even though we get some information about this later in the book. While they are instantly in lust with each other, Kismet hasn't been honest about his family and when his secrets threaten to boil over, he might risk the perfect relationship with Ezio he has been trying to build.

While we read the story from both main characters POV, I did feel like I didn't really get to know each of them. They both stayed a bit superficial to me, with only a couple of recognizable character traits. There also wasn't really any emotional growth, even though there were relationship issues that needed to be dealt with.

The story was still very much enjoyable, it just felt a bit flat for me and I wished the story had been longer, so we could get to know the main characters better.

Flirting with the Felon by M.D. Gregory and Ki Brightly is a quick, steamy M/M read that hooked me right away from the first pages.
The ex-con, Ezio, has his rough edges, but there’s a real sweetness under all that attitude, I really enjoy him as a character. The "playboy", Kismet, just wants someone to love and really take care of him. All that playboy attitude is mostly an act hiding how sweet he really is underneath, though he’s still a total brat, and that’s what makes him so fun to read. All of Kismet’s lies finally come to light and blow up in his face, almost literally. After that, I really loved how their relationship is rebuilt and it feels gradual and genuinely believable.

The spice is frequent and pretty intense, with kink and power dynamics that feel natural for these two characters. I hope there's more books for Leawood's brothers and for the Sabbatini family.

Kismet is a whirlwind of trouble and when he decides to mess with his brother Kismet does not see what is coming for him. Ezio is out of jail and ready to find the hot little thing that he has been communicating with. Little do either Kismet or Ezio realize just how their lives will be turned upside down.
I enjoyed seeing the journey that these two go on. We get to see the true emotions and what each man hides behind the façade they show the world. There is so much more to Kismet than his sexual escapades and Ezio is more than just brawn. These two are good together and as hot as their relationship is it is not the only thing they care about. It was nice to see Kismet grow and find his place and the love he is searching for. Their story moves at a good pace and pulled me right in from the start.

I fell in love with Kismet, he’s sassy, just wants to be loved and takes no crap from anyone!

Ezio is surprising sweet! I expected him be a little rougher.

This story is about Kismet who decides he wants with brothers father, and thinks that flirting with him while he is in prison is a good idea.

What happens when Ezio gets out of prison? Lots of spice, kinky daddy time and lace.

Age gap, forbidden (half-brother's bio dad/son's half-brother), hidden/secret identity, lite daddy kink, lingerie, ex-con

Besides the angst of Kismet keeping his identity a secret from Ezio, this was hot hot hot and everything delicious. Ezio turns out to be just what Kismet needs, and vice versa, but their little bubble doesn't last for long when Kismet's secrets come out. Ends on HEA, and I hope we get more books with the side characters!

Kizmet has issues and he knows it. He wants to be loved by his mother and brother. He feels abandoned by most of his siblings and goes about getting their attention in the wrong ways. What starts out as a way to hurt his older brother turns into something more. I really enjoyed reading about Ezio and Kizmet. Some may see their relationship as taboo but they aren't related. I love M.D. Gregory and enjoy all the books she writes. Looking forward to the next one.

Kismet was communicating and sexting with his half brother's father Ezio who was in prison. He kept Ezio in the dark as to who he was but when Ezio got out early, you know what hit the fan. They were full out hooking up and since both are from crime families, this doesn't go over well. I loved how insatiable they were, possessive and totally passion drunk. This was the steamiest book with lots of family involvement, not so good parents and two guys who can't keep their hands off each other

Kismet us trouble personified but he has his reasons.
No one ever stays, he's never enough.
To hurt his stepbrother Nathan for being the latest to leave, he's been writing to his dad, Eliot.
Eliot definitely wants Kismet and while he's rough and dangerous, he's also very sweet and absolutely the Daddy Kismet needs.
Kismet's lying catches up to him and now they have to decide if their love is real and if it's strong enough to withstand those who want to separate them.

I didn’t like Kismet in the beginning of this book because he only went after Ezio to annoy his mother and brother, but as M.D. Gregory delves deeper into the family dynamics it becomes clear why Kismet is the way he is. Gregory has these two guys both go through some tough situations and they do end up fitting together nicely.

Kismet has a playboy reputation but he is brat who needs care and attention which he find with Ezio. Ezio whom he is connected to by family but Kismet keeps his information close as he builds a relationship with Ezio when Ezio comes out of prison.
When secrets are revealed it’s up to them to make sure their relationship lasts.

A high heat, daddy/boy read with mafia elements in the plot.
An enjoyable read overall.

I am a sucker for this type of pairing and absolutely delighted in reading the two main characters coming together.
