One More Pucking Chance is a secret child hockey romance packed with second chances, unresolved feelings, and plenty of emotional tension.
Ten years after a one-night encounter, Lily returns to Los Angeles and Fox discovers he has a nine-year-old daughter he never knew existed. Lily had reached out to him years earlier, but when her emails went unanswered, she assumed he had no interest in being part of their daughter’s life. As a result, she’s spent the last decade resenting him. Meanwhile, Fox has his own baggage after being deceived by his ex-wife, leaving him immediately suspicious of Lily’s motives.
What follows is a story full of misunderstandings, hurt feelings, and undeniable chemistry. As Lily realises Fox genuinely had no idea about their daughter and Fox begins to see that Lily’s intentions have always been good, the walls between them slowly start to come down. Despite the years apart and the lingering anger, the attraction between them never truly disappeared.
I enjoyed the blend of emotional family moments and romance, and seeing Fox build a relationship with his daughter was one of the highlights of the book. The chemistry between Fox and Lily was strong, with some spicy scenes mixed in among the more heartfelt moments.
The story is a quick and easy read that kept me engaged throughout, although the third-act conflict felt a little predictable and didn’t hit quite as hard as I hoped. Still, it delivered the emotional payoff and happy ending I was looking for.
Overall, this was a solid hockey romance with a sweet secret-child storyline, good chemistry, emotional moments, and a satisfying HEA.

Lilly's last night as a waitress before leaving to Italy to follow her dreams, she meets Austin and cant help but feel drawn to him. They end up talking after she serve his table and almost tripp on the roller skates. They get a long so well, they end up talking until closing hours and share the night. Unfortunately the morning did not go as planned, Lilly is heartbroken and leave for Italy, only to found out she is pregnant.
I give this book 4 out of 5 stars, and the only reason i dont give 5 stars is because for me i have a hard time with the situation of Austin at the beginning, like the 5 first years so to say. But otherwise this book is so good, its pretty much about Lilly and Austin trying to co-parent Delfina. But, there are so many funny scenarios in this book😂 i laughed so much at the hockey team and how Austin is called their dad instead of captain because he takes care of everyone, and they all have a key to his house which give rise for so many funny moments😂 and adorable little Delfina, she is so sassy and headstrong for a 9 year old, i adore her🥰
There are some misunderstandings between Lilly and Austin that sometimes makes me want to shake their shoulders😅 but it gives a good story, a lot of drama.
I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good romcom, written in third person (its easy to follow the story), with the main characters trying to figth their attraction toward each other.
A one-night stand with the ultimate consequence. Lilly and Austin cross paths and spend an amazing night together knowing that in the morning they are going separate ways. Ten years later, life brings them back together and they have to face the new reality that bonds them forever. While Lily needs to deal with a new reality and the weight of how much she fears it, Austin needs to deal with the hurt of not knowing about the secret that changes his life irrevocably. One More Puckin’ Chance is a beautiful love story that deals with heartbreak, separation, responsibility, family and unexpected life-altering surprises. Sierra Lewis gives us two deeply emotional characters that are strong on the surface, have a lot of responsibilities on their shoulders, are ready to sacrifice for others, but are also vulnerable, lonely, hurt and looking for love. A series of misunderstandings and bad timing are at the core of this romance, but trying to disentangle the web of mistakes and give love a chance is what makes this story so interesting and inviting. Thank you for the ARC.
Well, this one was the angstiest yet! Austin Fox is perceived to be the all round good guy.. and mostly, he is, truly but Lilly? compared with Austin, is a saint. I cried, I laughed and I absolutely got angry with Austin at one point! My heart broke a few times for Lilly despite their second chance and they both had massive trust walls to overcome. Lilly may have weathered the issues better but Austin had his team, and what a team they are! Boys will be boys - and that was a giggle, but they where there for their captain, a fantastic cheering squad. Loved the family found vibes in this one.

OK, how freaking sweet was this book? I absolutely adored it.
Austin, captain of his NHL team, but all he’s ever wanted was a family after losing his parents. And Lilly all she’s ever wanted was accomplish her dream.
While debating leaving his tumultuous marriage, he meets the silly incredible and honest Lilly, after a crazy one night stand, two lines on a test changes her life forever.
Years later, they reconnect. There’s so much drama, hurt, hate, and lies that they both want to uncover. But at the same time there’s so much that they’ve rediscover not only about themselves but about their child and about their past.
This turns into the most AMAZING dynamic all around ! I devoured this book overnight it was incredible.
