Kim had been looking forward to this day so much! Finally, her boss would make their relationship official. But instead, at the big presentation, he announces that his wife is pregnant. Devastated, Kim escapes to a small hotel on Lake Garda, run by the warm-hearted Antonella.
At Casa Felicità, Kim discovers a whole new side of herself—and she meets Luca, the surf instructor with those unforgettable eyes, who soon becomes impossible to get out of her mind. But then Dirk shows up at the hotel with his wife…
A nice simple romantic story but I'm guessing it must have been translated to English. Many errors, questionable phrases or inexplicable punctuation evident throughout. This meant I found myself reading the same parts over and over trying to make sense of things. I found myself wanting to reach the end of the story for all the wrong reasons. I liked the characters (especially Ernesto and Clement) . The story itself was rather predictable but a gentle read.
Awful translation, so many errors, especially towards the end. Plus either errors in translation or editing. For example, it was a bottle of prosecco then it was wine. It was a van, then it was a bus. Even the story has so many flaws and at points so unbelievable. Seriously 3 people meet, spend lots of time together over several days but never talk about where they live or what their work is? It started well but just went downhill.
Lovely read and just wanted to keep on reading… love a follow up on the lives of Kim, Luke and Ellie and of course the newly wed clement and his husband😊
