Viola was never supposed to be more than the quiet second daughter, the one who was overlooked, the one who was always forgotten. Her older sister was the one everyone paid attention to. But when her sister doesn’t reveal as an omega by her 23rd birthday all eyes shift to Viola.

Overnight, Viola now finds herself thrust into the spotlight as the new heir to the throne. With suitors lining up at her door and the unfamiliar weight of royal duty pressing in on her from all sides, Viola finds herself longing for the days of quiet she’d grown used to growing up. With everything around her changing at a rapid pace she finds herself seeking comfort in the arms of the ones sworn to protect her while the ones who want to harm her lurk close by.

They’re fiercely loyal. Protective. And most of all…Hers.

As desire builds the lines between duty and love begin to blur forcing Viola to choose between the life she’s expected to live…and the one she’s always dreamed of.

She spent most of her life unseen—until the only ones who truly saw her became the one thing she couldn’t have.

Our FMC was so shy and sweet but didn’t hold back from what she wanted. Viola’s and Rowan's relationship had a beautiful bond from the beginning but I didn’t like how Rowan constantly put his “duty” to the kingdom before Viola's feelings.

That's why Blaine and Enzo were my favorites personally. They never held back from doing everything in their power to be with Viola. I wish there had been a stronger connection established between her and Enzo.

Overall I really enjoyed the debut. There were a few moments where the pacing of the sorry story felt rushed but I’m intrigued to see where Lenora’s story goes next.

If you love a why-choose romance with possessive MMCs, this is definitely worth the read.

This is a royal omegaverse story! There are touches on the omega/beta/alpha, but it’s really not strongly about that specifically. At least that’s how it felt to me. She is just coming into her designation which does play a part in the story, but it’s not a very widely talked about thing. Our FMC is shy, introverted, and would prefer to just be let to her music and herself. After all, she’s only the second born so she’s not meant to take the throne since her sister would be first…
Our three mmcs are enamored with her from the first time they ever met her, but they are not royalty. They are her guards, which makes it hard for them to want to express their truly feelings. I really enjoyed this whole story, it had me drawn in from the very beginning and then I didn’t want to put it down. Their story is sweet and they were very protective from the start, which only got worse as the story progressed. There’s a couple antagonist characters which helps the story. The spice is also insane, especially towards the end when they edge her for an absolutely insane amount of time.
Overall, a very fun enjoyable read and I look forward to the next one!

Her Guard, Her Pack, Her Forever

I really liked this book. I’m always in the mood for a good bodyguard trope, and this one definitely delivered.

Viola, the castaway second-born daughter of the king, has spent years being neglected after the death of her mother. But once her sister loses the throne, Viola suddenly becomes the heir. After living in the shadows for so long, she struggles with being thrust into the spotlight. All the while, she secretly harbors feelings for her guard and his pack, never believing they could possibly feel the same way about her.

Rowan has loved Viola from the very first time he heard her play. What began as admiration slowly turned into obsession, and eventually his feelings spread to the rest of his pack as well. Enzo is the voice of reason, while Blaine brings the flirtatious bad-boy energy. Together, these men love, cherish, and fiercely protect their princess.

I’m so glad Viola and her men got their happily ever after, and I’m hoping Lenora gets hers too, even though she’s constantly looked down on for being a beta.

I received a copy and am voluntarily leaving my honest review.

We have the story of Viola, a young Omega who finds herself caught up in a destiny she wasn't prepared for, leaving her vulnerable to sudden and uncontrollable changes.

Meanwhile, she also finds herself drawn to her pack of alpha guards, Rowan, Blaine, and Enzo, seeking solace in them, who swore to protect her.

It's a story where the alphas don't compete with each other; on the contrary, they work together to protect their Omega.

And the Omega seemed to me the most tender being in the world, always kind, always cordial, yet fearful of expressing her love to any of her Alphas, although of course she was also strong and dignified.

The blend of the Omegaverse with the royal vibes is very interesting to me, and it absolutely draws you deeper into the story.
The author strikes a perfect balance where possessiveness, protection, and mutual respect blend seamlessly with passion and eroticism, and that little classic touch gives this story an extraordinary edge.

The story conveys a beautiful, sweet, tender, and innocent love.

This was a great read by a new-to-me author. With fab world building, interesting characters and an engaging plot, it was a page turner for me. I really liked the dilemma of Viola being a royal and her scent matches definitely not being royals. She was second in line and basically could live her life as she chose, mostly playing music, and not fuss about all things court. Ha! Of course, things change when her older sister doesn't present as an omega and, suddenly, everything is different for her... Expect to get caught up in the drama, angst, pining, chemistry and hot romance as she works her way to a fab HEA. I love how the side characters added depth to her journey and enjoyed the reading ride. Good fun!

I received a review readers copy of this book and this is my honest review:

It was overall a sweet story. I love a good bodyguard/forbidden trope. I found myself interested in the side characters and I feel like the author set it up in a way that has me interested in hearing their stories as well. Is something going on with Lenora and Remy? Will Marcus’s pack kick him to the curb?
My main critiques are:
There were a few issues with continuity in scenes/wording. I also found myself having trouble placing a time period with this world. The scene where they checked the thermostat seemed out of place but maybe that’s just a me issue and I was trying to relate it to the real world too much.
Overall I think it’s great for a debut novel and I look forward to reading more in this series

Guarded by the Pack is the start of a new series by Nia Fell. I fell in love with our FMC, Viola, and her guys. Viola is the overlooked second daughter of the king. Her older sister has been groomed to become the next leader of their country. Only her heat has come and only Alphas or Omegas have ruled the country. It seems this responsibility will come to Viola since her heat is coming soon. She loathes the main alpha seeking her out through her father. She fell for her guard, Rowan, a long time ago. She also finds herself drawn to his packmates, Blaine and Enzo. Can Rowan look past his duty and follow his heart? Will Viola follow the royal plans or will she follow her heart? I greatly enjoyed this story and look forward to reading more from this universe.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 Stars!

Guarded by the Pack was such a fun read! Viola was an amazing FMC. She was strong, engaging, and easy to root for from beginning to end. I absolutely adored Enzo and Blaine. One of my favorite things about them was that they never held back because of their jobs or responsibilities. Their devotion and commitment to Viola felt genuine and unwavering, which made me love them even more.

If I had one tiny complaint, it's that I wish there had been just a little more Enzo... lol. I couldn't get enough of him!

This is an incredible debut, and I'm so excited to see what this author writes next. If this book is any indication, they have a very bright future ahead of them. Highly recommend!

Violet is the spare princess in the royal family. Her sister Lenora is the heir. Each queen has to be an omega in order to rule. Violet is just coming into her designation as an omega and has to deal with the repercussions of that fact. It is difficult for Violet, who is shy, sweet, and would rather spend her time in the music room instead of the spotlight.

The three MMCs are her guards and not the royals that have been picked out for her so she must navigate staying true to her heart while trying to not not let the people down. The longing in this story is top notch and the fact that her men are so in love with her makes the journey even sweeter. I can’t wait to read her sister’s story.

3.5 ⭐️

A princess falling for her guards 😍 This is a really sweet story and I adored all the characters.

Our FMC, Viola is super shy and introverted. She’s been overlooked her whole life because she’s the second daughter and not heir to the throne.

Rowan has been Viola’s bodyguard for around 2 years and has been in love with her for just as long. I don’t like that Rowan put his sense of duty over caring for Viola and in some instances he was an asshole.

Blaine is absolutely a golden retriever puppy, I think he’s my favourite. I loved his energy throughout the book, he so badly wanted to protect Viola from everything but also wanted to bring her so much joy.

Enzo is the quiet protector, I don’t think we got as much of him as I would have liked.

It didn’t feel as omegaverse driven as most books in that genre. It was more of a normal why choose with a sprinkling of omegaverse aspect. But still really enjoyable.

Thank you to the author for the ARC.

This was such a fun read! I really enjoyed the fact that while being an omega was a key plot point, it wasn't the whole story. There was plenty of tension with Viola sneaking around with her guards and trying to figure out how to be with them while being different stations in life. Her mates were honestly so sweet and down bad for her. And the spice hit perfectly. I can't wait for the next book and there's a few characters I hope to see more of in it!

I received a review readers copy of this story, and this is my honest review. I enjoyed the characters and interactions in this book, and as a debut I was pleasantly surprised. I did want more world building and depth at times, or felt as though the pacing was rushed. The MMC could have been a bit more well rounded but they had wonderful chemistry and I did enjoy watching the bond grow through the book.

A must read and one I will re-read I'm sure. I loved the shy girl but she doesn't hold back and still goes for what she wants. That is really nice to see. I like that most of the pack is all in though one is trying to hold things professional as rules are rules. I can even understand that but of course he can't help himself in the end. Now I am excited for the next story. You are in for a treat here for sure.

When the fmc is the royal, not falling for the royal ♥️

I enjoyed reading about our Princess Viola falling for her men. Most times the alphas are the royals. But here it's the omega. What a great debut novel! Can't wait for more from this author :)

This was such a great story. I absolutely loved it. Viola taking the reins when her sister didn’t present as an omega. It leaves Viola as the next heir. The twists and turns, the spice and love from her guards. This was sweet, steamy and a really good read.

Royal bonds

Royal omegaverse. Princess loves her personal guard pack, but to be queen he must be royal. This has a few different twists but is pretty meh. The author tried, and it's correctly spelled and punctuated. The ending is generally unsatisfying with no actual purpose.
