In book 2 of Vampire Island Chronicles we start where book 1 left off with Mia after the mountain opened up and took her.
Brilliant Mia does not willingly accept what the relic wants.
Jude is ready to tear the mountain apart to get Mia back.
This story is very well written. All the characters are enjoyable. While Nightfall Island tries to figure out how to fix things. They have enemies plotting and moving in. The relic is frustrated and stirring up trouble. While the mountain protects Mia and Jude.
It's suspenseful, chaotic, sometimes funny. Especially Axel. The bond growing between Mia and Jude is electrifying and getting stronger. And another cliffhanger that leaves you wanting more.
I am really enjoying this storyline very much. It's very unique with the Sentient object of the mountain that is alive and communicates. There are humans, a Demon relic, a Witch and of course all the Vampires.
I am so looking forward to the next book.
Jade is a wonderful author.
I highly recommend this book and this series.

Mia spends entirely too much time stuck in the literal heart of the island while everyone else scrambles to fix a botched ceremony. The living mountain is a stage five clinger that seems far more interested in her than the actual plot. Jude is still doing his brooding protector routine, but it feels like he is running in place while donors vanish and the Council throws a tantrum. I liked the focus on the blood supply logistics because even immortals have to eat. The political fracturing was a nice touch to distract from the fact that our lead couple is basically being babysat by a pile of enchanted stone. It is a decent bridge for a second book, even if the pacing felt like it was stuck in a cave for half the time.

This story continues to build on Mia and Jude’s relationship. Alex begins helping get the donors healthy with Mia’s help.
The Council starts to split on important issues. Some want a new leader.
As this story continues Bloodfall starts to visit and watch Nightfall for their weaknesses.
I am loving this series…on to book 3.

In book two the suspense intensifies. Miss is taken in the mountain and Jude is trying to get her back. The council is unhappy, and things aren’t going as planned. So many things going on. There’s so much to try and wrap my head around, but it’s so good. I’m enjoying the plot and things between Mia and Jude. All of the characters are great. This is such a well written story. I’m really enjoying it.

The Island has it;s own agenda and it includes Mia. Mia finds herself in a bad situation and Jude is determined to get her back. This second book has danger and unexpected problems. Jude really care for Mia and he does what he has to do to get her back! Great Second book! I Loved It! No Spoilers!.

After having been taken by the Island's mountain Jude is searching everywhere to find Mia's whereabouts. Everything is changing and getting more suspenseful as power begins to shift. Book 2 is intense as it is all falling apart. Another cliffhanger leaves me needing to know what happens next.

Okay, lots of action and drama at the end. The demon relic thinks he is going to get everything he wants, but there are too many who know that he is interfering. The island has claimed Mia, and it wants Jude and Mia together because that it what feeds it. It is going to be very interesting to see what happens in the next book.

The island is alive . The relic is plotting. The witch on the other island tells her POv. Axel and Luca get closer until the end of this saga. The beach debacle is heartbreaking. Jade Christy does a great job with the characters and the storyline. The emotions are very realistic and palpable.

I hate…
…editing errors. The first book was fine. This book is riddled with errors. Even the prologue begins with he, instead of the. It’s beyond distracting.
The plot did progress in this book. Of course, it’s another cliffhanger.
I still haven’t decided if I care enough about the characters to continue reading the series.

This is the second book of four.
The adventure and fast-paced books make it hard to put them down.
After ARC reading all four i really recommend you to read these books.

The Turmoil gets more Intense!!
Absolute meyham is happening on the island now , things beyond what they see are beginning to show themselves in little pieces…. The cliffhanger??? Wow, I’m definitely going to book 3 absolutely cannot go without knowing how this goes !!

Omg! I couldn’t put this one down. Axel has easily become one of my favorite characters… I can’t wait to dive into book 3.
