It was a bit outdated in the statistics and I didn't agree with everything. There were undertones of the philosophy of care that argues "maternity care is more highly managed in America than in anywhere else in the world yet maternal mortality in America is highest of all developed countries. Therefore, we must keep on doing what we're doing harder and faster than ever." in some places.
I haven't finished this yet, I'll go back and read the second half on nutrition in lactation after I finish my paper on nutrition in pregnancy. Right now, I'm going to go do some more research!
