Interesting but odd!

Should not have been an ending. Book at least should have been a hint of next chapter! Just a bit weird.

Really in a pickle now

I wish I had so much imagination. some ordinary characters are in a terrible unlikely end of life as we know it mess with a solar problem kicking it off. we get a new surprise in every chapter. I don' t think I would have been too sane or as resourceful at this situation. Brace for the ending. why not throw in the next twist. one either throws "the book" against the wall or yells "yeah, go for it".

Believable or not?

Was a good read until getting to the end. Then it became too unbelievable. But in the end it wss still worth reading.

I was under the impression that this book would be the typical prepper stories I've read before. Boy, was I mistaken! It started out just right but then some of these characters had issues that had me wondering about them. Chris, the dad, was all over the place - was he psychotic or what? AJ (his son) was in his own little world (and an alcoholic). It would have been nice to have continued the rhythm of the story but instead it veered off completely. Not my cup of tea, sorry.
