Wilting Hope

Rate this book
Sex isn’t always delicate and silk. Sometimes it’s ropes and guilt to keep you chained to wilt all hope …

Dive into a collection of poetry that explores the raw edges of heartbreak, hunger, and healing.

Sapphic, confessional, and unafraid, these poems strip love down to its bones, exposing the beauty and brutality of desire. From lust and longing to pagan ritual and reclamation, each piece moves through shadow and fire toward liberation.

This is poetry that does not whisper. It confesses. It aches. It remembers. It rebuilds.

For readers who crave verse that is honest and intense, trauma-aware and boundary-breaking, and queer-centered and unapologetically real. Perfect for lovers of contemporary confessional poetry, queer-lit, and writing that transforms pain into power.

Not delicate. Not silent. But fiercely alive.

Marie F. Crow

Marie F Crow believes that monsters should keep you up at night with the thoughts of “what if” stalking your mind. She began writing horror after feeling the genre of zombie horror was getting too far away from actual horror, forgetting what a zombie is, and what that can mean to your world.

The recent advents of movies and literature have pushed the concept of the flesh eating undead too far into the realm of the mundane and cute. There is a need to once more rehash the genre with the proper respect to the psychological ramifications, and sheer horror, that the monsters deserve.

That sheer horror of possibly having to kill your friends, family, or anyone else for that matter before they become a shambling corpse willing, even driven, to consume the flesh of their own. The psychological destruction to the minds of the living their deaths could cause to those around them.

With the release of The Risen series, she hopes to, once again, breathe fear back into the genre that has always been a favorite of hers. Crafting her stories with honest emotions, and believable circumstances, she creates her world with an added twist to the classic monsters. She believes nothing is sacred in the land of horror inviting the reader to explore the depth of that concept by luring them deeper into her realm with visual images and emotional drama wrapped with a sparkling, gore dripping bow.

With open arms, she welcomes them back into the world of horror hoping they enjoy the ride, but requests they do keep all their limbs inside the ride at all times. The Risen are waiting, and they are hungry.

Who knew a poetry book could make you feel so many sensations all at once? This isn’t your typical poetry collection that you pick up casually - it explores themes that are far more intense and layered, so I’d definitely recommend checking the trigger warnings beforehand… you’ll understand why when you see them 😉🤭
First of all, I have to say the author’s writing style is so good - sensual, evocative, and beautifully crafted. I really mean it!!! There are deep, underlying meanings woven into the lines that make you feel everything from heartbreak to longing and desire. It’s passionate, it’s bold, and it’s absolutely stunning.
I genuinely couldn’t put this book down. At times, my heart ached as I connected with the pain behind certain pieces, and at other moments, I found myself blushing and smiling uncontrollably. What a book - oh my god!!!
I was so hooked that I ended up finishing it in one sitting. Unfortunately, due to some personal reasons, I couldn’t post my review earlier as I was inactive. But I’m truly grateful to Literary Loft PR and the author for giving me the opportunity to read this beautiful (and yes, hot!) collection.
Wilting Hope is going to stay with me for a long long time! I’ve never read anything quite like this in the poetry genre, and it’s definitely a book I’ll cherish. ❤️
I would highly recommend it to all the romantics out there - and to anyone who enjoys poetry that goes beyond being just erotic, offering something deeply sensual and meaningful at its core.

Okay you raw, honest, beauty of a poetry book- I see you. And I hear you🖤 and so will many other readers. This one isn’t one that you flip through and bam your done. Each line, each piece, each moment we are entwined with the words….it gets into you. And you truly have to sit with it- it almost digs into the corners you’ve buried emotions away in and makes you feel them. But I was completely here for it. I am so grateful to have a taken the time to read through this powerful book. Check your trigger warnings because it’s just always encouraged!

I've always been someone who enjoys slow music and deep poetry. And I've read my fair share of poetry books with different themes but this was something very new for me. As I read the blurb, I wasn't expecting soft, comforting poetry, but something very powerful and raw, and this book was very true to its premises. It leans more into the raw emotion than anything soft or gentle. It's the kind of collection that doesn't feel less like a caress and more like a punch.

What makes this book stand out amongst others, is how unapologetically honest it is about love and desire, especially through a sapphic lens. It doesn't try to make everything look pretty or aesthetic but instead it shows the raw and messy side of it.

There's so much longing, confusion, and even guilt woven into the poems, that it all feels very real and unfiltered. At times it almost feels like you're reading someone's private thoughts, someone's private diary, which can be a little intense, but also what makes it memorable. The confessional writing style is the star of the show.

At first you're just juggling all these emotions and sensual unapologetic desire but the book goes on, everything sort of clicks into its place just like pieces of a puzzles. The poems take you on a journey through not only emotions but a story as well. If you're new to poetry books and haven't read many of them then it might be a lil bit too complex for you but if you're someone who thrives on finding the meaning behind those syllables, you're in for a very interesting ride.

Overall, this book isn't about pretty lines or aesthetic poetry. It's messy, emotional, and very personal. The way desire is portrayed with utmost honesty and how love is beyond that is commendable. It's not a "pick it up if you want comfort" kind of book but "pick it up if you want something raw and strong" kind. So If you're someone who likes poetry that feels a little too real, raw, messy and brutally honest, this is the book for you.

I just completed dark romance poetry book Wilting Hope by Marie Crow and wow.
I read this book during travelling and felt so fresh
One moment its intense and
next moment it is vulnerably reflective
This book poked me which I wasn’t expecting
The poems are raw, messy, honest that it felt almost uncomfortablly comfortable
Some lines made me breath deeply and for rest I had to stop and realis
There’s heartbreak here with sprinkle of desire, longing, anger and tiny sparks of hope
The author just gave voice to
the emotions hidden and feeling which are unseen
I admit that
I reread certain poems actually
Some are soft, reflective moments
others feel like to be a scream by ...
the sense of discover in reclaiming self which lies between the pain and some chaos

Attention
Definitely an 18+ read
It’s bold, a little dark and not here to comfort you
But if you like poetry that feels human, messy and deeply personal
this book stay longer thoughts after read
I feel that this is one of those books
that gives a feeling of being seen to the soul
even in the parts it don’t want to admit existance

🔥(Dark, messy, heartbreak, desire, Raw emotions, Lust, longing, hope, 18+ reads, Chaos, growth, pain, soul, unapologetically human, Love that burns, Fragile hope, Must read for brave hearts, bookstagram)🔥

Wilting Hope is a really bold poetry book, and.. you all might already know about my growing obsession towards poetry, I think, this one was totally different from any of the previous poems I've ever read 🌝

It ain't any traditional poetry book. It's raw, sensual, erotic and dark (as dark as a poetry could probably get 🙂‍↕️). Trust me when I say - this book comes with trigger warnings, and you'll have to take note of them before you proceed!!

Wilting Hope has 40 different poems, each of which explores a unique theme - spirituality ( I don't think we can actually say that.. iykyk), sexuality, trauma.. and various human emotions.

What I actually loved about the book is its verses. The author's voice through the book alternates between a poetic softness, which contrasts with the jarring bluntness it follows. And somewhere, she also brings out a beautiful balance between erotic intensity and emotional depth 😌🤌🏻

I totally suggest this dark poetry to y'all who love not just romantic poetry.. but also some lines that go waaayy dark, exploring sexuality - queer love, bisexuality, polyamory and all don't mind if a verse written so beautiful pierces their soul like a rose's thorn 🥀

Thank youuuuu @ for this wonderful opportunity!! I can't thank you enough for letting me explore soooo much poetry, all of them unique in their own way 😭🫶🏻🫶🏻

There are some books you read and then there are some books that read you. Wilting Hope is one of those. I didn’t go into it expecting softness because the trigger warnings made sure of that but nothing really prepared me for what it feels like to step into a space where every page feels like a confession deeply needed to. It begins with a curiosity and something unfamiliar. I was thinking dark romance but in poetry? And then the words pulled me under into desire that feels consuming into love that burns. There is no filter here but raw, unguarded truth spilled across pages as if the author trusted the paper more than the world. The next half comes like a fracture cracking something open inside you before you even realise what you were holding together. Love here has been described as the one that scars, destroys and lingers long after it’s gone and yet, it hopes. That’s what stayed with me the most. There were moments when I had to stop and take a breath because I felt so much all at once.Often times, we read a book to escape but this one offers recognition. This book look in the mirror at the things we may not always want to voice, like the desire, heartache, fury, and even when everything else falls apart.

To be honest, I have read a lot of dark romances, but I had never tried a dark romance poetry book before. I decided to give Wilting Hope by Marie F. Crow a try, and I am so glad I did!

Just a quick heads-up: this book is for 18+ readers, so make sure to check the warnings before you start.

All the poems are just so well written. It is amazing how they can make you feel so many different things. Some pages make you feel loved and make you really long for that kind of passion. But then, other pages will completely shatter your heart into pieces.

Your heart will literally ache while reading this. The words touch you so deeply because they show the hard reality of our lives and the things happening around us. It doesn't try to hide the pain or keep you in delusion, it is just raw and painfully honest. It takes you through the darkness and the heartbreak, but it also shows you that there is still hope.

The writing is so honest and so good. I found myself just turning page after page, and I couldn't stop until I reached the very end. If you want a book that is real, messy, and totally unforgettable, you definitely need to read this.

Wilting Hope by Marie F. Crow felt like that kind of read for me. From the very first page, I knew this wasn’t going to be soft or easy poetry. It’s intense, honest, and deeply personal, like stepping into someone’s emotions without any filter.

What I truly loved is how fearlessly this collection explores love and desire not the dreamy version we often read, but the complicated, painful, and real side of it. There’s heartbreak, longing, guilt, and healing, all tangled together. The sapphic and confessional voice makes it even more powerful, giving space to stories and feelings that are often left unheard. Every poem feels like a release, like the author is slowly reclaiming herself through words.

This book carries a certain darkness, but it never feels hopeless. There is strength hidden in every ache, and a quiet kind of healing that grows with each page. It’s not poetry you just read and move on from , it stays, it lingers, it makes you sit with your own thoughts a little longer.

If you enjoy poetry that is raw, emotional, and unapologetically real, this one will speak to you in ways you don’t expect. I didn’t just read this book, I felt it.

This was my first time exploring dark romance through poetry, and it left a strong impression. It’s not the kind of book that gently eases you in—it pulls you straight into something raw and intense. The emotions don’t feel distant or fictional; they feel close, almost personal, like you’re witnessing thoughts that were never meant to be shared out loud.
What stood out to me is how deeply it dives into complicated feelings—desire, pain, longing—all tangled together in a way that feels both beautiful and unsettling. There’s no softness to hide behind here, just honesty in its most exposed form. Some parts hit so hard that I had to pause and sit with what I’d just read.
Instead of offering escape, this book feels like confrontation. It reflects emotions we often avoid or suppress and brings them to the surface. It explores a kind of love that isn’t gentle or healing, but intense, consuming, and impossible to ignore—yet somehow still carries a quiet sense of hope.
Overall, this is one of those reads that lingers with you, not because it comforts you, but because it makes you feel everything all at once.

Okay first of all... DAMN!!! This is great!!! Each and every poem kept me bothered and unsettling in the best way!!!

Cold hard truth? You got it. Seduction? You got it. Rage? You got it. What's not there??? It has everything. It has the essence of a profound love that reincarnates again and again, to feel each and every emotion again and again, because no emotion is the same and they change every time in different moments.

$ex is a taboo everywhere (at least according to me) and it has become just a "Netflix & Chill" but these poems give a different light in this. It grabs the topic by throat and whispers if it's ready to break all the boundaries and all the bull$hit. The hunger between each touch, breath, kiss, and fleeting moments are written so freaking well, it's far more than desire, it's the feral nature of a mere human who's pent up.

A diary of emotions, pain, power and a lot of things I don't think I can say out loud here, written and made me feel a lot of things. I would definitely recommend you to read it, if you want something which isn't buttered up and tells you the truth.

This book is not here to comfort you gently, it literally grabs your emotions and makes you feel everything you’ve been trying to ignore. The poems move through desire, vulnerability, trauma, and healing in a way that feels so personal it’s almost uncomfortable… like you’re reading thoughts you never said out loud. Some lines hit quietly, like a slow ache in your chest and others feel like a scream you didn’t even realize you were holding in.

What I loved (and also suffered through) is how raw and honest this collection is. There’s no sugarcoating, no softening of emotions. One moment you’re reading something intense and heavy, and the next it shifts into something softer and reflective but it still stays with you. I kept going in my head. It honestly feels like reading someone’s unfiltered emotions and that vulnerability makes it hit even harder.

Also, this is definitely an 18+ read, as some themes and expressions are more mature and intense. If you like poetry that’s raw, intimate, and painfully honest, this book will stay with you long after you finish it.

Wilting Hope is not just a book, it’s an emotional storm wrapped in poetic prose. Every chapter feels like a raw confession, pulling you into a world where pain, desire, and identity collide. The writing is hauntingly beautiful, almost hypnotic, making it impossible to look away even when it gets uncomfortable.

What truly stands out is how fearlessly the story explores dark and taboo themes. It doesn’t try to soften the edges instead, it leans into them, turning trauma and chaos into something powerful and thought-provoking. You don’t just read this book, you feel it in every line.

Beneath all the intensity lies a journey of transformation of breaking, questioning, and rebuilding. It’s about reclaiming voice and identity in a world that tries to silence both. That emotional depth is what makes the story linger long after you’ve finished it.

This isn’t an easy read, but it’s an unforgettable one. Bold, unapologetic, and deeply moving, Wilting Hope is perfect for readers who love dark, poetic storytelling that dares to push boundaries.

"Reality, it can be cruel. Somethings are just better left in the grey, unsaid and astray."

💌 Wilting Hope by Marie F. Crow

I have read my fair share of poetry books and yet trust me when I say that Wilting Hope is not your usual kind of poetry you come across everyday.

From the very first page the book sets a tone that is intense and unfiltered. It demands your attention, your silence and at times your emotional surrender.

The exploration of love and desire is far from idealized, instead it’s messy, aching and layered with guilt, longing and quiet resilience.

Some things that make it beautifully intensely different from other books-

🥀 The raw unapologetic emotional depth that the poems carry.
🥀 It's unique blend of desire, pain and healing
🥀 Powerful sapphic representation
🥀 Strong intimate confessional writing style
🥀 Poems that feel absolutely immersive and lingering
🥀 The bold approach to dark and taboo themes

Overall this one's a completely different experience that lingers, hits so deeply at times and most definitely burns with intensity.

Wilting Hope by Marie F Crow is one of those rare collections that feels like a quiet conversation with your own soul. Each poem carries a softness that gently unfolds into something deeper…grief, healing & the fragile beauty of hope that refuses to completely fade.
🥀
What makes this collection so special is its honesty. The words don’t try to be overly complex…instead they flow with a raw simplicity that makes every emotion feel real and reachable. There’s a certain vulnerability in the way the poet captures heartbreak and resilience…like watching something delicate slowly wither, yet still holding onto life.
🥀
The imagery is subtle yet powerful, painting feelings rather than just describing them. You don’t just read these poems…you feel them. Some lines linger long after you’ve turned the page🍂
🥀
Wilting Hope isn’t just about sadness…it’s about surviving it. It’s about finding light in the quietest corners of darkness, and learning that even when hope wilts, it never truly disappears.
🥀
A deeply moving collection that stays with you, like a memory you didn’t know you needed🌷❤️

Are you ready to dive into a world of passion, rawness, intimacy, love and pain?If yes then let's dive with me. This is my first time reading a poetry that explores a deep intimate way of expressing love, passion! I never thought a poetry book can also explores this section. I have to give credit for writing this book with so much expression. Every word has knife like edge! . After finishing reading I was in thinking stage for solid 5 mins to process the book!

Wilting Hope is not just a collection of poems expression raw love, it goes beyond physical intimacy! If you are genuinely understand poetry and the depth then you will surely feel this book. This is a type of section usually writers avoid specially poetry writer. But this book has captured that emotions too well.

The way it captures darkness of human desires and passions alongside the pain and rawness just made me read it till last in one go. Honestly saying I never expected a poetry book can express love in this way!!
Not gonna say much more. Just read this book once.

Wilting Hope written by author mariefcrow is a sensual dark romance collection of poetry. Honestly speaking, I have never ever read anything like this 🔥🔥🔥

The writer have a way of using simple words to create heavy, intense mood that stay in your head long after you finish reading. I felt suspense, mystery and thrill while reading and every sentence revealed something unexpected! ✨✨✨

I love how the writer describes "dark" feelings in a way that actually feels beautiful and magnetic rather than scary❤️❤️❤️ Every line feels intentional, dripping with a tension that lingers long after the poem ends.
The rhythm is so smooth that the poems flow like a private conversation whispered in the dark.🔥🔥🔥

It feels completely new—not like the same old romance lines we’ve all heard a thousand times. 😍😍
What truly sets this work apart is how the writer abandoned safe clichés in favor of a voice that is unapologetically bold and strikingly original ✨✨✨✨
Also, the trigger warnings written were unique and in a humorous way 😂💯🔥

Okay so I finally finished a book after ages. That too a POETRY.... Unbelievable na😭
So this book really really felt like reading someone’s raw and unfiltered emotions but in verses. It is not just a lovey dovey poetry book, it has longing, desire, heartbreak, and everything in between. It’s the kind of book that doesn’t ask you to understand every word, it just asks you to FEEL it.🫠🙈

The poems carry a GREAT intensity. Some are soft and aching, while others feel bold, consuming you totally. There’s this recurring sense of craving and emptiness that makes the entire collection feel deeply personal and, that’s exactly what makes it so captivating.

It was really easy to slip into the rhythm of the writing. Even if you’re not someone who usually reads poetry(just like me bbg), this book won't feel intimidating at all.

Overall, Wilting Hope is intense, emotional, and quietly addictive.
‼️Check the trigger warnings before reading⚠️

Well, well, well… this book completely surprised me. Reading something like this was a whole new experience for me and honestly, I didn’t expect to feel this much.

I’m a big fan of poetry, and this is my first time reading dark romance poetry, and I absolutely devoured it. Every poem in this book seemed to haunt my soul, like it reached into my heart and stayed there. It was raw, and painfully beautiful.

The way each poem conveyed obsession, longing, and quiet pain… it lingered even after I finished reading this. There were times when I just stared at the wall, lost in thoughts, wondering how something could be written so beautifully yet felt so heavy.

It didn’t take me long to finish this book, but I truly wish there was more. That’s how deeply it pulled me in.

One of the best poetry books I’ve read in a while. If you’re a fan of dark romance, this is something you need to experience because it won’t just be read… it will consume you.

I went into this book expecting something soft and hopeful, but it turned out to be raw, intense, and completely consuming. This was my first time reading dark romance poetry, and it honestly left a strong impression on me.
The writing is brutally honest, just pure emotion. It explores desire, pain, obsession, and longing in such a real and unfiltered way that you don’t just read it, you feel it. Some parts were unsettling, especially for a first-time experience like this, but that’s also what made it so powerful and beautiful.
My favorite lines:
“We both died that day you walked away
I watched your retreating shadow with fear and lack of understanding
You, without a shade of empathy
Who was I now without you”
These lines are hauntingly beautiful. They capture that quiet, devastating kind of pain, the feeling of losing someone and yourself at the same time. It stayed with me long after I finished reading. Vey memorable experience for me.

Well, Oh My God! What did i just read!!!
Never ever I thought that I will read a poetry which is erotic, chaotic and just... amazing!

I somehow glided through all the poems, but the depth in each one of them was more than I could handle. Every poem felt like a confession, a breakdown, a quiet scream, and a moment of power all at once.

It actually felt like reading someone's personal diary that was written in the middle of the night, someone yearning for a love, feeling the pain of it, the pain of a person leaving, everything at the same time.
There are parts that feel intimate, parts that feel disturbing, and sometimes both at the same time. And that’s probably what hits the most — the way it blurs the line between what’s supposed to feel good and what clearly isn’t.

So if you're someone who enjoys poetries as well as dark romance, and feel okay with something a little darker and more unfiltered, this one's definitely for you!

Wilting Hope by Marie F Crow is a poetry collection that leaves an indelible mark. This book is a raw, unflinching exploration of physical intimacy, love, and the scars we carry everyday.

The poems here are like shards of glass! Some cut deep, others reflect fragments of ourselves. You'll find lines that hurt, lines that heal, and lines that leave you breathless. Marie's words are unapologetic, visceral, and hauntingly beautiful.

What sets this collection apart is its brutal honesty. These poems don't shy away from the messy, painful parts of love and desire. Instead, they dive headfirst into the darkness and come out bruised, yet luminous.

Wilting Hope is a book that'll stay with you long after you finish reading. It's a mirror held up to our deepest vulnerabilities, and a testament to the power of words to both wound and heal.

If you're drawn to poetry that unflinches from the raw edges of human experience, you'll find something profound here.

This book didn’t just hit… it lingered. Like the kind of feeling you can’t shake off even after you close the last page. I went in expecting “just poetry” and came out emotionally attacked (in the best way). It’s dark, messy, and so painfully real that at times it feels like you’re reading someone’s private thoughts you were never meant to see. The way it moves through obsession, love, trauma, and healing? Yeah… it stays with you.

The writing is raw and unfiltered—no soft edges, no pretending. One moment it’s heavy and suffocating, the next it’s quiet and reflective, but it never really lets you breathe. Some poems feel like a whisper, others like a scream you didn’t know you had inside you. It’s not an easy read (definitely 18+), but if you love poetry that’s chaotic, emotional, and unapologetically human, this one will consume you. Easily one of those books that makes you feel seen in ways you didn’t expect.

With wilted hope I’ve walked these streets
Patterned thoughts, patterned sounds, patterned sights, patterned life on repeat
Passion is just a lost memory, a sensation dressed in windows for others to keep
The color faded long ago for me as love became a guarantee, not lost, but not skipping head first or heartdeep
I merely hum the tune now, no longer interested in the words or the beat

Honestly? I don’t know how I’m supposed to go back to whatever I called poetry earlier. It’s left me speechless. To be very frank, as I read this one, my mind was like “it’s giving ✨shakespeare but make it sapphic ✨ AND DUDE THAT IS SO TRUE- 😭

Reading this was so intense, so very full of emotions (watch me fumble with words now lmaoo) and the absolute amount of devotion?? The degree of worship in these relationships?? *slams down credit card* I NEED MORE.

Wilting Hope is a very intense poetry book about pain, healing, and strong emotions. It might be sometimes disturbing as well

The poems talk about trauma, past wounds, and how people try to heal from them. There are also themes of obsession, love, and power in relationships. Some parts explore dark ideas around passion and control.

The writing feels like someone sharing their deepest thoughts and struggles. It's beautifully going. Each poem feels like a deep story. I loved the whole.

The language is strong and emotional. Some poems feel like confessions. While a few moments are calm and reflective, most of the book stays heavy.

This is not an easy Read . It includes many serious and triggering topics.
Overall,
If you like deep, dark poetry that shows real emotions without hiding anything, you might like this book. For me it's thumbs up.

I’m not someone who usually leans toward poetry, but this book surprised me in the best way. What begins as something gentle and almost dreamlike gradually turns into something much more intense and haunting. It examines love in its most vulnerable form, where passion and pain coexist.

There’s a certain rawness that doesn’t soften emotions. Desire, heartbreak, longing—everything feels deeply personal, almost intrusive at times, like you’re reading someone’s honest truth. Some poems stay with you longer than expected, leaving a quiet ache behind.

What I appreciated most was how it shifts from darkness to a feeling of reclaiming power. It’s not just about breaking; it’s also about rebuilding. The writing is bold, emotional, and fully honest.

If you enjoy poetry that makes you feel deeply, this is definitely worth experiencing.

The moment I heard this was a poetry project, I knew I had to give in, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint.

This book explores the emotion of love in its most vulnerable and softest form, where what seem like opposites, the zeal, warmth, and pain, correlate and coexist beautifully. It captures the quiet intensity of feeling, the kind that lingers long after the words are read.

Wilting Hope, the title itself, caught my attention, and it truly represents the raw and unfiltered emotions within. At times, these emotions are almost too uncomfortable to sit with, yet the book gently holds your hand through them, making the experience feel intimate.

The depth and range of emotions expressed here are truly appreciable, and that form of art is far too respectable to be overlooked. It reminds you that vulnerability is not weakness, but a powerful and necessary part of being human.

Wilting Hope by Marie F. Crow is a poetry collection that leans into intensity rather than comfort. It explores love, desire and emotional conflict in a way that feels deeply personal and at times, unsettling. The poems carry a sense of vulnerability, shifting between moments of tenderness and heaviness without warning.

What makes this collection stand out is how honest it feels. The poems don’t try to soften emotions–they let them exist in their most intense, sometimes uncomfortable form. There’s a constant shift between longing and pain, making each piece feel personal and real.
Some pieces feel almost intrusive, like stepping into someone’s inner world uninvited, while others offer brief moments of calm.

It’s not the kind of book you read casually. If you’re drawn to poetry that is bold, intense and unfiltered, this one will leave a lasting impression.

I was actually very curious about this book because firstly I haven't seen anything like this before and secondly I haven't read anything like this before (duh) but when I read the trigger warnings, I knew it's going to be INTRIGUING to say the least and I'll save you the suspense, yes it was exactly that and much more.

The poems are bold, raw, emotional, seductive and very VERY HONEST. Some of them lean into desire and affection whereas some of them portray longing, hurt and this contrast was remarkable. I really enjoyed the shift between fiery, confident energy and the softer, emotional ones.

I went back and re-read a lot of poems because they were that intense and thought provoking.
The writing felt honest and vulnerable like you are reading someone's personal thoughts without any filter.

Overall, this was a powerful and memorable poetry collection for me. It did not sugarcoat anything and laid everything bare which was it's beauty. A full 5/5 from me.

Thank you Literary Loft PR for having me on this tour and trusting me with this book!✨

I've read a lot of books but nothing like this one. This dark and confessional sapphic poetry collection feels less like reading and more like stepping into someone’s unfiltered emotions. The writing in this book is raw in a way that doesn’t ask for your comfort instead it lingers, it unsettles, it makes you sit with feelings you didn’t plan on unpacking. Some of the poems felt like quiet heartbreak, some like sharp truths you can’t look away from and some just stayed under my skin long after I finished!
This book doesn’t try to be pretty and that’s exactly why it works because it’s honest, messy and deeply human

Not something you read lightly but definitely something you feel deeply!

I recently finished a book "Wilting hope" which is a poetry book . I don't even know how to explain this it makes me feel a lot of emotions .

The poems in the books are raw , messy and sometimes it makes you uncomfortable and at times almost too honest . This book felt like reading someone's emotions in verses . Some lines made me pause and some made me reflect. It has a heartbreak , longing , desire , heartbreak in between .

I loved the shift of the emotions one moment its fiery and at other times you read about longing and desire .

The writing is honest and vulnerable. It didn't take me long to finish this book but I want more .

Overall i loved this poetry book and if you are a dark romance lover this book is a must try for you .
