I had the pleasure of receiving this as an e-ARC and voluntarily will be giving my honest review. This was a breath taking book!! You visit all the realms in search of a weapon it is immersive and unique and gives you all the feels!! The characters development in this story is phenomenal!! I cant not wait to read the next book! Chefs kiss to Emilee!!

I came to realize, this is just a slower paced story. Built on the details and the mystery and you have to want to know how it turns out to keep going! So if you are looking for a fast paced, epic fantasy story, I do not believe this will fit that bill! I was okay with it in theNine Realms, but now, I need more… something to ignite the fire of desire to finish the story. It felt like starting over and that’s not how I personally enjoy a second book.
I’m hopeful, as this book introduces multiple POVs.
I am not okay with some relationship development!! WHAT DO YOU MEAN?! wait… if this turns out the way it’s feeling… i’m okay with it!
The FMC struggles through her trauma from book one. As she gains strength and self awareness, her past still haunts her and tries to inhibit her progress. But she persists. She remains selfless, for the most part. She remains caring. She continues to find herself and hopes that others will love her fully for who she is and not what she was or could be.
This is deliberate story telling, high fantasy writing with a romantic aside.
It appears this is not the end of the journey. Not quite a cliffhanger, just a soft fade to black as the next episode loads.
How do you even rate a book that feels (and looks) this beautiful?
Listen!!! From Stars to Seas ------ wow---How do you even rate something like this. You can FEEL how much heart was poured into this story.
This is a continuation, and somehow the world feels even bigger.... since we’re traveling through different realms, uncovering lost memories, searching for something that could literally change everything… And the entire time, it just feels so vivid and atmospheric without ever losing that emotional core.
I’ve already grown attached to these characters from book one, but this...... This made it worse. I’m fully invested now because I’m rooting for them, I’m emotional over them, I’m celebrating their wins like they’re MY friends.
The relationships really shine here through the love, the support, and the growth… it all feels genuine and earned. And underneath all the magic and adventure, this story is really about identity, acceptance, and figuring out where you belong.
Watching each character carry their own struggles while still moving forward? Just wow because these vibes are immaculate.
You have .... Pegasai, found connections, grumpy x sunshine, golden retriever energy, “why choose” tension… It’s cozy, magical, emotional just like the kind of book you take to the beach and just get lost in. And by the end.... I wasn’t ready to leave this world.
Thank you for Nook & Fable for this gifted ARC in exchange for my review.
Confession: I’m already invested in what happens next.
Oh golly, how do you rate something so beautiful. First off, I'd like to thank the author for providing me with an Advanced Copy. My thoughts are absolutely my own!
This is a book you can absolutely tell Emilee poured her heart into. The world is so immense and unique. I loved visiting all the realms in search of a weapon that could turn the tide of the war as well as for Sol's memories that she lost in book 1.
Since the first book, I've grown to love the characters and the world, to root for them in every endeavor. I cheer when they find love. I swoon when the pegasai come out to play. I am enamored with Emilee's creativity yet again.
From Stars to Seas explores central themes of love, true acceptance, and finding yourself alongside the life one could truly have if they learned to let go of all the bad holding them back.
Though these tropes do not define the book as a whole, you can expect to see why choose romance, golden retriever MMC, grumpy x sunshine, and so much more. It is a cozy fantasy and I absoultely recommend you take this with you on a spring break trip to the beach.
This book was such a beautiful read. The writing felt almost poetic at times, and I could picture everything so clearly, from the characters and settings to all of the emotions they were experiencing.
One of my favorite parts was the relationship between Sol, Gallen, and Malinar. It felt natural, well-developed, and so easy to get invested in. Watching their bond grow was one of the strongest parts of the story for me.
The story also had plenty of twists and turns that kept me locked in. There were definitely moments where I was stressed in the best way and had to know what was coming next.
Tropes in this one include why choose, hidden power, second chance, grumpy sunshine, best friend’s sister, forced proximity, officer x warrior, romantasy, and underdog story.
Even though this book can technically be read as a standalone, I do think reading book one first would help a lot. Since I went into book two without reading the first, I felt like I was missing some important background and character moments. That said, I still really enjoyed this book and definitely plan to go back and read book one.
I’m very excited to see where this series goes next.
From Stars to Seas by Emilee Robbins is a breathtaking continuation of the saga that began in book one. Picking up right where the story left off, we follow Sol and her fellow Night Flyers as they race against time to uncover a weapon that could shift the balance in the looming war between the Realms. The character development in this installment truly shines. The bonds between the three protagonists deepen in ways that feel natural and heartfelt, amlost bringing you to tears at points. Sol’s struggle to reclaim her lost memories adds emotional weight, and the growing tension surrounding her journey keeps you turning the pages. Emilee masterfully sets the stage for what promises to be an epic showdown in the next book. Will Sol find the answers she seeks? Can their friendship survive what’s coming? I’m already counting the days until book three arrives! If you love deep character arcs, rich world-building, and the thrill of adventure laced with emotion, From Stars to Seas is a must-read.
This was such a heartfelt continuation. You can really feel how much care was poured into this story.
The world building is SO immersive. The different realms feel vivid and distinct, and there’s a sense of wonder to the setting that made me want to stay in it. I really loved how much personality and detail came through in both the main cast and the side characters. Everyone felt clear and real on the page.
This story is about identity, acceptance, love, and figuring out where you belong. Each of the main characters feels like they’re carrying something personal into the larger journey, and I really liked watching those emotional threads unfold alongside the adventure.
I’ve grown so attached to these characters, and this book made that even stronger. Their relationships felt meaningful, the character development landed well for me, and there were definitely moments that got emotional. It made me smile, it made me feel, and it left me even more invested in where this story is going next.
The love, support, and growth between the characters feel genuine and completely earned. Beneath the magic, adventure, and looming war, this story is ultimately about identity, acceptance, and finding where you truly belong. One of my favorite parts was the relationship between Sol, Gallen, and Malinar. Their bond develops naturally and becomes one of the strongest aspects of the book. Watching their connection deepen made it incredibly easy to become emotionally invested. As Sol and the Night Flyers race to uncover a weapon that could change the balance of the war between the Realms, the stakes feel higher with every chapter. Sol’s struggle to reclaim her lost memories adds emotional weight, while the tension surrounding her journey keeps the pages turning. The character development in this installment is especially strong, with moments between the three protagonists that feel heartfelt and, at times, almost bring you to tears. A powerful continuation of the story that balances action, emotion, and growth beautifully.
Beautiful, emotional, a true journey of self-love, and learning what you want and need.
Emilee does such a beautiful job describing these realism and characters so you feel like you are right there with them on this journey. The Star and Ocean realm are currently battling for my favorite spot with how beautiful they sound. I just wish I could have an artist draw all the realms for me so I could just enjoy their beauty whenever I wanted. Also, the way she describes Gallen, Sol, and Malinar along with how in depth she put detail into the side characters you don’t miss a single detail about them. I could picture them from their looks and clothing down to the sneer of smile they had in that moment of the journey.
And it’s truly a journey. Each of the main characters are chosen for this quest but all of them are also on their own personal quest as well. There are so many reason to have hate, lack of trust, and fear be lead by the heart but you see on this journey how love and honesty can truly save you in so many ways.
There are not enough words to describe how I felt as I read this book. It had me in tears, it had me smiling, it had me questioning how this war will turn with information learned. I cannot wait for the next book because I know with this being the first of the quests for the friends, there is so much more to come and so much is about to happen.
In the second book of the Nine Realms “From Stars to Sea” we dive deeper into Sol's ongoing quest as she grapples with the loss of her memories while striving to save her kingdom from the malevolent Lord of the North. As her journey unfolds, the complexities of her past love intertwine with a blossoming relationship between Sol, Gallen and Malinar.
Navigating through various realms, Sol is not only on a mission to reclaim her identity, now shrouded in mystery as she transforms from a warrior into a spectral Meer ghost, but she is also determined to ensure the survival of her friends and her kingdom. Despite her fragmented memories, her resolve remains unwavering: to dismantle those who threaten their existence.
Amidst this intricate love triangle, the trio faces their challenges with resilience, each contributing to the narrative’s emotional depth and adventure. I can’t wait for the next book to see where their journey has taken them.
I’m not sure my words will do justice for this book. The descriptive writing and character growth is so beautifully done. Emilee writes as if she has been doing it for ages and the words flow magically across the pages. “You are brave. You are bold.” Sol, Gallen and Malinar have started off on a quest that is filled with adventure, however the quest I truly enjoyed was the quest of our main characters learning to forgive, trust and love again. I loved how the relationships formed and the spicy parts were just that part of the story that didn’t overshadow the plot. This book stays with you long after you put it down. This book is for those that have ever doubted themselves and then you find your purpose and you find love. Phenomenal book that brings you on an epic journey alongside the characters. Thank you for the advanced copy
I enjoyed book 2 even more so than book 1. Things pick up much earlier than book one with an unexpected shift in the journey.
Was hoping to see more growth in Sol's character, however, I did enjoy the relationship between the three, starting from a new place and getting to know and respect one another. The things they experience on their journey is truly magical. Plus, we have an endearing romance.
Excellent plot twist and following fast paced pages.
The ending leaves you wondering if we will hear from these characters again, or maybe have a spin off with a different character...
Favorite quote: "You should understand more than others, Sol. An author wishes her audience to feel something. And often, grief is the most difficult emotion to elicit."
Overall: 4.5 stars out of 5 Spice: 2 peppers. One open door scene, some details, but not extended or entirely explicit.
Thank you for the e-arc copy of this story. I am leaving this review voluntarily after throughly enjoying it.
Let me start by saying I haven’t read book one. It’s on my list and I just haven’t gotten to it yet. That said, I don’t feel like I was missing anything pivotal. I will be going back and reading it, but overall I am very happy with this story.
This is a slow burn fantasy romance. We see a lot of growth between the three main characters throughout the book. It doesn’t leave off on a cliffhanger, but it is obvious that there will be additional books after this one.
I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys fantasy romance with a slow burn.
From Stars to Seas pulled at my soul in the best way possible. From front to back it is filled with love, acceptance, exploration and much more. With why choose and queernorm themes, this book pulls at your heartstrings and makes you fall in love with each character individually and together. I will be reading again, and I will need book three asap. E. N. K Robbins has a way with bring her realms to life and submerging the reader into her worlds with such grace I can’t get enough of it. A must read for spring!
This was a beautiful well written book. The characters are lovely and the growth between them is wonderful. Even though this book can be read as a stand alone, I am going to go back and read book one. I skimmed the first part and feel that it would enhance the story even more but it doesn’t take away from the stories beauty and depth to read as a stand alone. If you enjoy slow paced fantasy that is beautifully written, I would recommend this book. I received this as an ARC and I am leaving an honest review.
I think I actually enjoyed this book more than the first. Sol still doesn't have her memories back at the start of this which really fuels the adventure she goes on with Malinar and Gallen. There is a lot of love and acceptance in this story. The characters each grow in profound ways. The spice was good. There are LGBTQ themes and representation. You also get tropes like why choose and golden retriever MMC.
From Stars to Seas: Records of Realms, Book Two by Emilee N.K. Robbins absolutely delivers. The balance between cosmic scale and intimate character moments is beautifully handled, and the shifting realms feel vivid and immersive rather than overwhelming. The pacing keeps you hooked, blending tension, wonder, and just the right amount of heartbreak. A powerful continuation that proves this series is only getting stronger.
ARC Review - I was excited to see the journey continue with our FMC Sol and this book takes you across all the realms learning more about the found family and the potential of war on the horizon.
The characters are developed well to show the different personalities.
The worlds are easy to picture and you can picture yourself riding in the skies with them.
I felt some of the pacing was a bit hit and miss hence the slightly lower rating.
Omg !!!! When I tell you I got lost in this world is an under statement. I love the development of the characters In book II. There are some unexpected moments 🫢 I didn’t see coming. I truly did not want to put this book down. It was such a good read! I loved it all!!! I am truly curious to see what the next realm will bring!!! I want to thank , Emilee NK Robbins for the opportunity to be part of her ARC team and introducing me to this exciting world.
Oh my goodness Emilee has done it again. This book is so beautifully written, it is if I’m reading a heart in book form 🥹 the characters are unique and you fall in love with each of them! Sol, Gallen, & Malinar are all honestly just trying to find themselves all while finding each other 🫶🏼 I love that this truly is a why choose romance and honestly I couldn’t choose if I wanted to! Each character grows so much individually but also together and that’s so beautiful 🥹
From Stars to Seas was a really great book. This book has deep characters and was filled with emotion, exploration and love. Sol and the Night Flyers race against time to uncover a weapon that could shift the realms. Sol struggles to reclaim her loss memories and emotional weight is added to the growing tension on her journey. I really enjoyed this book from beginning to end.
Thank you to the author for the opportunity to advance read this second book of the Records of Realms series.
There are multiple realms in this story, this installment of the series introduces us to the water realm, where our FM,C and companions, are seeking an alliance, in order to bring her brother to a throne to rule over all the realms.
For me the story starts out strong and ends strong, what lies between is an exploration of selves and friendships turned into something more. The characters will feel aloof and secretive at times making me wonder where their loyalty lies. The characters must choose who to trust and who they will forge an alliance with. There are side characters that stand out and creatures that capture the heart. All this creates a story that I needed to finish.
This is a well written story with a dark layer underneath. After reading book one, this took a turn I was not expecting. This is a multilayered world with unexpected relationships and a betrayal that shocked me.
I absolutely loved the first book, but man this one went above and beyond book one! I thoroughly enjoyed the story the characters and the building of their personalities. This series has shaped up to sit pretty high on my re-read list! If you love a good fantasy series that grabs your attention and keeps you enthralled throughout the story the. I highly suggest giving this series a try! Thank you to the author for allowing me to be on the ARC team!
I really enjoyed the overall vibe of the book. The characters had great chemistry, and I found myself getting invested in them easily. This is one of those books you pick up when you want something engaging, fun, and effortless to get through. Overall, this was a really enjoyable read.
As someone who fell deeply in love with the first book this second book was just ad wonderful. You really have to admire the main fmc as she struggles to find out more about who she really is. Overall the plot was very exciting and reading it was an adventure itself.
Still strong on the cozy high fantasy. More aspects pf the mystery elements came through in this book. I love how the plot thickened in this one. The writing style really does know how to keep you hooked.
Coming into this book blind, I wasn't sure what to expect. What an absolute treat this book was for me. I enjoyed the multiple POV's and watching them collide. The world building in this book was outstanding. I am now going to go back and read book 1
