This is more than a wolf shifter romance. Aster & Noah’s story is loaded with magic, angst, & danger. Years ago Aster overheard her mentor discuss a vision she had about a wolf with no ears that would destroy the pack. That wolf was Noah, who was snuck out by his mother when he was an infnant. Aster has kept certain visions from her pack’s alpha, Aiden, because she wishes to see change in her pack. Aiden announces that on the next blood moon she will bind with him to increase their powers. He sends her to the city to see a tiara with a moonstone to determine if it has powers to help during the binding ritual. Noah’s only goal has been to infiltrate the Adulwolf pack to rescue his mother from the Moonborn, the cult within the pack. Ever since he saw Aster at Brick’s wedding he has been dreaming of her. When a dream shows she’s going to be in the city, he makes a plan to get close to her. Noah is then able to find her with trackers he placed in her purse. When he sees her alone & convulsing he doesn’t think twice about rescuing her (some might say kidnapping). Right from the start their relationship is angsty & emotioinally charged. Noah is intelligent, strong willed, & calculating when solving a problem. Aster’s kindness & compassion has never diminished even after all she’s endured. Their shared dreams adds another level of mystical to the fated mates trope. The fact that Noah is deaf & his use of Total Communication was handled with care & thoughtfully portrayed. This is fast paced, action packed, & has all the yummy shifter spice you’d expect.

“Holding her, touching her, breathing in her scent feels like home.”

“I won’t mark you. I just want to taste you.” He holds my gaze. “Spread your knees, starlight.”

“I love you. He shows me the “ILY” sign, but this time his middle and index fingers are crossed. I shape my fingers into the same sign. “It means, I really love you,” he explains. “The R is for really.”

The MC's ha a bit of pushback in their developing matehood it didn't flow as well as the others. She's a seeress that doesn't know her own mate. I vaguely recall her mentioning in another book that he was her mate. Yet we get here to her story and she wants to waffle. I thought this would the conclusion it so. I have an inkling that there maybe more in this series. The back story with the opposing pack is riveting and kept me hooked into the series this far. Despite my lack of appreciation for the deviation in MC'S personalities (? If that's even the right word) I'm still on board to see how this feud in back ground plays out Of we are lucky enough to get more to this series. Lastly I received this as an arc. However I'm not obligated to leave this review.

Finally! Another installment of the Wolves of Wall Street series! There are rumors that this will be the last one for the series, but I find that hard to believe. There are so many other wolves that need stories, and why would you throw in a moment between Esme and Nickel and then add in some tidbits about his life? To me that just foreshadows a story. Then you have Sully being all secretive, so there’s something with him too. It just feels like a lot still is left unsaid and there are things that need to be taken care of, mysteries to be solved. Plus, why would you include a cryptic ending in Aiden’s point of view? Clearly there is still a lot of work to do and the problem of the Adalwulf’s isn’t going away anytime soon. The way I see it, Noah has to either challenge him for the alpha position or the pack needs to be killed indefinitely. It just felt very unfinished for me. With Aster by Noah’s side, I believe that if Noah wanted to, he could absolutely challenge Aiden for the alpha role. He could bring about change to the Adalwulf’s, maybe even form an alliance with the Blackthroat’s. They could be one big dominating pack that work together if fate steps in again. This is what I’m hoping for in this series. If this book is in fact the last one, then I feel like the hope will get diminished from the situation and what Noah and Aster went through will be all for nothing. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that the series continues. In the meantime, let me reflect on this story. For me, it was a little challenging in the beginning. There was a lot of talk about upcoming visions and past ones and terms as well as duties and roles that I wasn’t clear on. Then cryptic guidance both happening to Noah and Aster. I couldn’t figure out their connection. I knew they were going to be each other’s mates, but their deep and palpable connection didn’t seem as powerful as it ended up being. I couldn’t explain or figure out how they could be in each other’s dreams or talk to each other through their minds. I couldn’t figure out how they were somehow bonded without Aster being marked. The gifts she had when she was a virgin, I can understand how that could disappear once she loses her virginity. Then, there is the question of why she has to stay a virgin when her gifts are just a part of her and don’t affect her virginity. This isn’t a part of her mind, in fact they couldn’t be further away from that. A part of me wonders that if she did end up sticking around, would she eventually get killed? I had more questions in the beginning which was almost the deciding factor on giving this less than a 5. Ultimately I wound up giving it a 5 because when Brick, Madi and the Blackthroat’s join forces it’s like everything clicked. It all started making sense and naturally flowed for me. I understood what the endgame was, the roles and what was expected. I’ll even add in the moment Aster decided to give up her power and succumb to Noah’s marking and mating. The minute she decided to give into fate and accept Noah as hers, the story was monumentally better. It made sense, but also at this point I think what helped was the fact that all my questions did eventually get answered and figured out. I flew through the remainder of the book. I was drawn to not only the chemistry, desire, tenderness and passion between Aster and Noah but also by their task and defeating the Adalwulf’s. I enjoyed reading how they strategized and infiltrated their land. It was so satisfying when the plan happened as it should and everyone ends up safe and away from the chaos. Overall, a difficult start for me but it ends up being worth it and everything gets answered, garnering a definite 5 for me. Please don’t break my heart and say this is the last book. I’ll be so upset and left with questions because this book didn’t feel like a closure story.

Synopsis:

Aster, the Seeress of the Adalwulf pack, lives more like a prisoner than a respected member of her own people. Controlled by Alpha Aiden, who wants to bind her to him and use her visions to destroy rival packs, she is trapped in a cult-like world where women are treated as tools to produce heirs and obey without question.

Noah, a deaf alpha and lone wolf connected to the rival Blackthroat pack, has his own mission and his own demons to fight. But when dreams of a woman with starlight hair begin haunting him, his wolf can’t stay away from her. Fate eventually leads him straight to Aster, and he does the only thing he can think of—he takes her away from the life she’s trapped in.

Aster knows she should fear Noah. He is, after all, from the enemy pack. But for the first time in her life, she feels seen, understood, and safe. And Noah finds himself unable to resist the pull between them. But what happens when Alpha Aiden realizes someone has taken his Seeress?

Review:

“Big Bad Betrayal” by Renee Rose and Lee Savino, the sixth installment in the Werewolves of Wall Street series, is an enemies-to-lovers shifter romance filled with danger, found family, and fated mates.

I really admired Aster’s character. Despite everything she has suffered, she remains powerful, brave, and unwilling to bend to Alpha Aiden’s control. She knows her worth, even when everyone around her tries to silence it. Noah, on the other hand, completely stole my heart. His loneliness, his loyalty, and the way he makes Aster feel safe and cared for was honestly beautiful to read. I especially loved how he never forces her into anything and respects her boundaries completely.

What stood out to me the most was the Blackthroat pack. The found family vibes were everything. The way they welcomed Noah, learned ASL to communicate with him, and made him feel included was so heartwarming. I also loved learning little bits of ASL through the story.

The Adalwulf setting felt dark and unsettling throughout, which kept the tension high. And that final scene? I was absolutely flying through the pages.

That being said, there were a few things that didn’t fully work for me. Since this was my first shifter romance, I did struggle a bit with the pack terminology and dynamics. Some scenes also shifted very abruptly, which occasionally left me confused about what was happening and which form the characters were in during certain action scenes.

Overall, this was a solid first-shifter romance experience for me, and I think readers who love fated mates, enemies-to-lovers tension, and strong found-family themes will definitely enjoy it.

Aster overheard 10 years ago that the deaf wolf needed to be put down. He would be the start of a war. Fast forward, Aster is the seer for the Adulwulfs clan. Aiden wants a true vision from her. During the next lunar eclipse, there will be a Blood Bonding but Aiden also wants her to touch the new acquisition at the Gem and Mineral Museum, the Tiara of Ix-Chel. It should increase her power. Noah has been keeping tabs on Aster since he saw her at Brick and Madi’s wedding. He feels he knows here. These two seem to be dream walking into each other’s dream. When he hatches a plan to take the tiara he certainly didn’t expect to have her fall into his arms. But when he spies her locked in a tower convulsing, plans change. Keeping her safe and fed is one thing but temptation pulls these two more and more.

I love these two. For one, Noah is such a lost soul. He was abandon by his mother, deaf, but cared for by his Nan. He has a spot within the Blackthroat company. He has yet to request to be part of the pack. His plans to save his mother but he also wants to know why. This one will really pull at your heart. For a man that grew up deaf, he learned to adapt. Most of the Blackthroat pack have learned ASL. He isn’t alone. Aster has been led by Oma to bow to the alpha but is the guidance true. She starts to feel things for Noah that could cause her to lose her visions. I do love that Noah takes extra care of Aster. Even when temptation is there, he never pushes. For Aster, at times I think her visions are not clear for her to interpret. You would think they would be. When one vision forces her to make a choice, she follows Noah. When you think you know what is going to happen, one of them does something that makes you cry. Thank goodness for Madi. She is always the voice of reason. Sully gets his chance at fulfilling his revenge for Moira. I wonder who will be next in the series cause Aiden is still alive and has another plan, Operation Romulus. Who will be next? We still have Sully, Vance, Jake and Nickel as well as Esme. You know there is a story with her.

This werewolf shifter romance delivers danger, angst, rituals, traditions, and magic in a suspenseful, twist-filled ride. The plot keeps you guessing, with clever forewarning that only clicks into place later. I enjoyed this one, though not quite as much as the earlier books in the series. The beginning felt a little overwhelming with the number of characters and plot threads, but once Brick, Madi, and the Blackthroat family took center stage, the story really found its stride for me.

Noah and Aster’s relationship is charged with tension, emotion, and vulnerability. Their bond, built on shared dreams they don’t yet understand, adds a unique and compelling layer to the fated-mates trope. Watching them grow, heal, and fight for each other was easily the highlight.

Aster’s journey is heartbreaking but powerful. Abused, living in a castle under the cruel control of Aiden Adalwuff, she tries to remain invisible. Aiden's desire to force a blood bond with her adds a layer of tension and urgency to her story. As the Seeress of the Adalwuff Clan, she walks a constant line between survival and sacrifice. Twelve-year-old Aster overheard a conversation about a deaf wolf that would change her future. Moving to the present day, Aiden expects a vision from Aster as the Seer to increase her power, which in turn would make him more powerful and dangerous.

Noah's journey is equally compelling. Deaf since birth and abandoned by his pack, he was a lone wolf searching for a place to belong. I appreciate that Noah never pressured Aster, even after realizing she was his fated mate. His patience and protectiveness made him all the more endearing. His journey to New York, his connection with the Blackthroats, and his determination to free Aster and find his mother made his story emotional.

There’s real turmoil here, so expect tears. Some moments will hit hard, especially as misunderstandings and danger threaten to tear them apart. But their fight for a future together makes the payoff worth it. An emotional, suspenseful read with strong character growth and plenty of drama

Big Bad Betrayal is the next installment in the Warewolves of Wall Street series and Renee Rose and Lee Savino outdid themselves. Because Aster and Noah's story is amazing. Never thought that Noah would be the plot twist that no one expected and that he will be so important to Brick and his pack. Noah's story is emotionally overwhelming and action packed and with so many plot twists that will keep you on your toes. Let's just say that it'll give some answers from the previous installments in the series. And Noah is so much more than expected. He's strong willed, smart and calculated and with some extra abilities. Ans Aster is smart and bidding her time while she can manage to get right all the visions she has. But one thing was sure she doesn't want to be bound to Aiden. And all the visions with Noah and their shared thoughts meant so much more in the grand scheme of their shared history. Because Aster knew about Noah and who he is from the start. But all fits in place just at the right moment. Loved it that not only Noah and Aster had to make a choice about their lives. At the end what matters most is who we chose to be when given the chance. And some can't escape their fate even given the opportunity to choose. I have the suspicion that Aiden Adalwulf will ruin himself and his own pack in his quest for power. And I loved it that Brick Blackthroat lead his pack based on wisdom and comradery than fear. And for Noah they all learned ASL so they can communicate and he can feel part of the pack. And in return Noah finally felt part of a pack and choose another path for him and Aster. Now I can't wait to see who's story is next in the Warewolves of Wall Street series.

Thanks to the authors and Literally Yours PR for the opportunity to read and review an early copy of this book.

Aster overheard a prophecy ten years ago: the deaf wolf needed to be put down because he would be the beginning of a war. Now, years later, she serves as the seer for the Adulwulfs clan. Aiden demands a true vision from her during the next lunar eclipse and insists she touch the clan’s newest acquisition at the Gem and Mineral Museum—the Tiara of Ix-Chel—believing it will amplify her powers.

Meanwhile, Noah has been watching Aster ever since he saw her at Brick and Madi’s wedding. There’s something familiar about her, especially when the two begin dreamwalking into each other’s dreams. Noah’s original plan to steal the tiara quickly changes after he discovers Aster locked away in a tower, convulsing. Protecting her becomes more important than the mission, though the growing temptation between them only complicates things.

Noah is such a heartbreaking hero. Abandoned by his mother and born deaf, he was raised by his Nan and eventually found a place within the Blackthroat Company. His desire to save his mother while seeking answers about why she left him pulls at your emotions.

Aster’s journey was equally compelling. She has always followed Oma’s guidance and bowed to the alpha, but she slowly begins questioning that guidance. Her feelings for Noah threaten her visions, and the emotional conflict heightens the tension in the storyline.

While Aster’s visions felt frustratingly unclear, this added to the suspense. When she’s eventually forced to choose between prophecy and her heart, her decision changes everything.

This instalment not only delivered an emotional romance between Noah and Aster, but also set the stage for even bigger conflicts, deeper pack dynamics, and more revelations to come in future books.

I was gifted an ARC of this book and leaving a personal review.

What an adventure my mind just went on!!!
Welcome back to the world created around the wolf shifters on Walstreet. This story takes on the characters Aster and Noah. What an incredible pairing!
Noah is a wolf shifter working at Moon Co, led by the Blackthroat clan. He is deaf and uses ASL and lipreading to communicate. The members of the pack learned ASL to be able to speak with him. When I read that bit of information, it melted my heart. Although he is not yet a pack member, they still treat him as part of the family.
Aster is the seeress for the Adulwulf clan. In their pack, they have a blood born ceremony that binds the seeress to the Alpha and this will help produce visions beneficial for the pack. Unfortunately, the Alpha is not kind. He is also the sworn enemy to the Blackthroat’s.
The first time Noah sees Aster, he feels an instant connection. Then, they begin to see one another in dreams. The bond between them continues to grow and by the end of the story is so incredibly beautiful, I cried. I have yet to be disappointed with anything written by these authors, but this story truly is phenomenal.
In this novel, you will encounter enemies to lovers, fated mates, a psychic heroine and a pretty epic cult rescue. There is non-stop action and once you start reading, you will not be able to put this book down. On a scale of 1 to 5, I’m rating this story a 5 for the character development, world building, and the spice. Although this is book 6 in the series, it can be read as a standalone.
I recommend this novel for mature audiences only due to sexual content and violence. I would pay close attention to the trigger warnings as well.
I received this ARC in exchange for a fair and honest review.

THE WOLF BORN TO DESTROY

The story is the sixth installment in the series, The Werewolves of Wall Street. This story features a mix of characters, including shifters and humans. It is full of mystery, suspense, secrets, and battles, within the family—and outside of it. The story has abuse, bigotry, power struggles, enemy-to-lover, and complete opposites fighting an attraction that leads to so much more. The story is of Noah, a wolf without a pack who is deaf, reads lips, and most of the Moon Co group has learned ASL—and then from Adalwulf, a young new girl with pale hair—the pack seeress.

“The war is coming. You must decide which side you’re on.”

Aster Adalwulf has trained to be the seeress and answers to Aiden Adalwulf. He is not a man to cross, but Aster doesn’t trust him, and the last thing she wants is to be bonded with him. He wants her to go to the Gem and Mineral Museum and examine the Tiara of Ix-Chel, which contains a giant moonstone. She knows it is real, but also extremely powerful.

Noah works for Brick at Moon Co., but he hasn’t joined his pack—something that is concerning to Brick. The truth is, and he was upfront, he also had applied to work at Adalwulf Associates, but was turned down. Noah is deaf—but there is much more to him that many know. Brick and the coworkers at Moon Co. all learned or are learning ASL for communication with Noah.

The story is full of secrets, visions between Noah and Aster, and is an enemies-to-lovers tale. It is a tale of the good, the bad, and the evil—of fate and the future. You can’t help but cheer on Noah and Aster and look forward to others getting their comeuppance.

A great instalment in the Werewolves of Wall Street series.
This is Noah and Aster's story.
Aster, the seeress to the Adalwulf pack had made a decision very early in her training that when she took over from her Oma, she would see many visions that she does not pass on to Aiden, the Alpha of the Adalwulf pack.
His weapon in the war between The Blackthroat pack and the Adalwulf pack, his seeress has been of no use to him since her predecessor passed, Aster's Oma.
Having visions of a strong alpha male that seems to call to her....one that looks at her like she means something to him. This vision she keeps a closely guarded secret.
This fast paced story encompasses everything that comes to pass for the Adalwulf pack and Noah reaching out to rescue his mother from the Moonborn.
His first job is to kidnap, or maybe rescue? the gorgeous girl in his dreams, Aster.
He finds her locked in a tower, starved half to death and guarded by her bodyguard.
Aster truly believes that everything that happens is as fate chooses, and when Noah finally gets her to safety, she realises that she is where she is meant to be.
But there are a lot of twists to this story that you just don't see coming and I certainly could not wait to finish! I just love HEA's!!
To live a life of servitude, to be finally rescued by Noah, to then have to decide to keep him or let him go?...yeh and so the story goes on.... But it was an incredible journey.
And yes, oh what a finish! Not one that I saw coming either, but it made me do a happy dance!

I never get enough of shifters or the Blackthroat pack and this book was no exception. Noah and Aster’s story was everything I wanted and more. She’s the Adulwulf Seeress and a prisoner in her own pack. Noah is deaf with no pack of his own but he’s used to being a lone wolf and it works for him. He has a plan, which brought him into the city and eventually to the Blackthroats, when the Adulwulfs didn’t hire him. He knows Brick won’t like this, but Noah has to see it through, he just has to figure out what to do with the woman from his dreams.

They’re both lost souls meant to make each other whole and I loved every minute of it. Aster’s life has been one of fear and servitude, but she doesn’t exactly have options. She lives imprisoned in a tower until the handsome wolf comes, first in her dreams but soon to rescue her. Noah is drawn to save the beautiful prisoner from the evil Adulwulf clan even before he realizes she’s his fated mate. I don’t want to give away any details so will just say that I loved everything about these two and their story. I’d like to thank the authors and Literally Yours PR for providing an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Aster is an seeress for the Adalwulf pack who has never been treated with kindness or respect. When she replaces the old seeress died will be binded to the current Alpha in the blood bonding ritual. Noah is a lone wolf who happens to be deaf. Noah works for the Blackthroat pack but refuses to join. Noah is hoping to join the Adalwulf pack for personnel reasons. Aster and Noah are having dreams/visions of each other. Noah knows that Aster is the key to his success and uses the dreams to find her at the Gem and Mineral Museum where he slips a tracker on her. When Noah steals a mystical artifact, thawing the Adalulf alphas plans it puts him at odds with Brick Blackthroat. Running out of time Noah kidnaps Aster from her "cage" and realizes she is his fated mate. The problem is he can never claim her or she loses her seerer powers. Aster's visions show that Noah will be the downfall of her pack. She must learn to interpret her visions for the betterment of the pack. As the Alpha Rites ritual fastly approaches, Noah and Aster work together to stop this barbaric practice. However, time is running out when Noah finds out his sister is scheduled to take part. When the plan partially fails, Noah realizes he must have the backing of a pack and reaches out to Brick. Without given to much away, there were twist and turns and a "cliffhanger " that make me wonder who is going to continuing this story. I throughly enjoyed reading this book and cannot wait for the next installment.

A wonderful and in-depth story with beautifully written characters and a blot that holds from start to finish
This book is all about the wonderful wolf Aster who is the Seeress of her pack, the Adalwulf pack and she has a full on 24/7 position dealing with all of the squabbles, fights and lack of trust and the constant fear that seems to infect some of its members.
One day she takes a lone wolf into her confidence which is something that she has never ever don in her past but Noah is a without that never understands the significance of the things she describes to him, that is until the day everything seems to come together and it is apparent that someone is trying to bring down her pack and does not care how many are hurt or even killed in the process.
This is a simply captivating read and the twists and turns especially regarding the wold she takes into her confidence as he had originally had an agenda all of his own that would have been the end of her affiliation with the pack and possibly even more than that.
I will not spoil the plot for others so readers will have to find out how this play out themselves, once started this book is impossible to put down until you reach the end.
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the wonderful writing.

This story is dual POV, well written and edited, and a fast-paced, steamy, enemies to lovers, fated mates, contemporary fantasy romance between Aster, the female wolf shifter seeress lead, and Noah, the deaf male Wall Street executive wolf shifter lead, whose stated goal is to destroy Aster’s pack’s traditions. I enjoyed Noah’s confidence in the righteousness of his goal, and the efforts he made in execution. I enjoyed his willingness to make alterations when he realised who Aster was to him, and his determination to care for her, given her history. I enjoyed Aster’s certainty that her pack’s ways were wrong and her determination to change things. I adored the integration of ASL into Noah’s work life and the accomodations that his coworkers had made for his needs. I enjoyed the relationship development. I enjoyed the steamy intimate scenes. I enjoyed the non-romance plot and the way it has developed through the series (the romance stands entirely alone but the non-romance plot is enhanced by prior reading). I enjoyed the supportive, active, and integrated secondary characters, many of whom have their own stories available. I adored the banter between characters and the cheerfulness of the ending for the protagonists compared to the stress of the ending for the antagonist.

This is book 6 in the Werewolves of Wall Street series by Renee and Lee and is Noah’s story who we first meet in book 1 as the deaf lone wolf who works for Moon Co but isn’t part of the Blackthroat pack. I’ve been keen to get Noah’s story since first meeting him where he came across as an intriguing character with his own story to tell.

Big Bad Betrayal hit a little different for me than the rest of the series, it leans more into the paranormal aspect of the storyline that the previous books did in my opinion, and I loved it!

There’s so much more to Noah and his background than I was expecting. The same with Aster, the Adalwulf Seeress who we first encounter in the earlier books. Both characters have been through so much - Noah as a deaf shifter who escaped the cult as a newborn baby to save his life and Aster as a victim of a abusive cult where she’s starved and isolated for the majority of her life. They’re linked psychically to each other and both keep appearing in the same shared dreams. Fate is leading them toward each other but can they learn to trust one another, and fulfil fate’s plans for them. Can Aster learn to trust Noah and embrace their mate bond.

I was hooked from start to finish, the storyline was intriguing and gripping, well paced and kept you turning the pages to find out what happens next. I loved that all the Moon Co bros made an appearance. I can’t wait to get more books in the series and find out what happens with Adalwulf Alpha next!

A fabulous addition to the series and I can’t wait for what’s coming next!

Big Bad Betrayal delivers everything readers love about paranormal romance—high-stakes tension, compelling chemistry, and a fast-moving plot—while still feeling polished and emotionally grounded. Renee Rose and Lee Savino create a vivid world of rival packs, destiny, and danger, and they balance the suspense with strong character development that keeps the story engaging from beginning to end.

One of the novel’s standout strengths is the connection between Noah and Aster. Their dynamic has the classic enemies-to-lovers spark, but it is handled with care, making their relationship feel both exciting and believable. Noah’s fierce determination and Aster’s unique gifts make them a memorable pair, and the story’s emotional beats give the romance real heart without losing its momentum.

The book also stands out for weaving inclusivity into the story in a meaningful way, adding depth without slowing the pace. As a standalone entry in the Werewolves of Wall Street series, it offers a satisfying complete arc while still inviting readers to explore more of the world. For fans of polished paranormal romance with strong worldbuilding, memorable characters, and a guaranteed happy ending, this is an easy recommendation.

While each book in the Werewolves of Wall Street can be read as standalones.
I highly recommend starting the series from book one. Each book just gets better and better.
Now onto Big Bad Betrayal. I loved this book. Could not put it down!
Noah and Aster’s story was so gripping and captivating.
It was emotional and heartbreaking at times.
The cruelty and pain Aster suffered was heartbreaking. Noah’s suffering was mentally and spiritually.
Both of them made to suffer at the orders of cruel and evil leaders.
I loved both these amazing characters.
Noah determination knew no limits. His resolve to right the injustice of the past is unparalleled.
Aster’s resilience is truly remarkable. Her kindness and compassion never dissipates even with everything she’s put through. Her goodness always shines through and just becomes stronger.
Her and Noah together were a force of nature. Their trust and love for each other made them magical.
Literally and figuratively.
Their story is the perfect blend of suspense, drama and spice.
Ms. Rose and Ms. Savino do not disappoint with the fantastic PNR series.
I have loved each book in the series. But so far Big Bad Betrayal is my favorite.
Well until maybe the next book lol.

I read the first 3 books in this series and enjoyed them well enough. I skipped the last book because I just didn't care for Billy enough to spend the money to read his story. However, I liked Noah in the first book and had been intrigued by Seeress in the first books and had wondered what happened to her.

I am not quite sure why, but this book was a big disappointment to me. It was written well enough, but it simply didn't engage me or make me care much about the MC's. I wanted to like it; I expected to like it...I didn't.

There were a few instances, especially later in the book, that seemed as ill thought out and ridiculous as the dog whistle in the third book and that seriously annoyed me. Overall, for me, this book was a swing and a miss. Although this book doesn't end on a true cliffhanger, there was, of course a final chapter of "foreboding and darkness" to come; which, I suppose is designed to make you buy the next book. I won't.

If you have read and liked the other books in this series, you might like this one. Perhaps I am being too harsh, but I can only go by how the book affected or didn't affect me. Personally, I am done with the series. I just don't care enough about this world to continue.

I always liked Noah as a character. Even though in the other books he was a relatively minor secondary character, his friendship with Madi and acceptance by the Moon Co team always made me feel there was something special about him. I was so pleased to see that at the end of Billy's novel Noah would be getting his own story. I read a lot of shifter books and the majority are all able bodied, by nature of their supernatural abilities; I was so happy that in this series, and this book in particular, Noah's deafness was never treated as a deficiency or that he was lacking or unable in anyway. He is a powerful wolf and treated as equally capable.

Aster was a special treat. there were minor glimpses of her prior in the series. She was a wonderful addition. Boss babe all the way. Taking her life and power by the horn and dictating her path; refusing and rebuking her subjugation.

There was a complex story, with multiple characters showing growth, the plot never slowed. I loved when bits of foreshadowing came to pass. A lovely earned HEA.

Fate is never to be messed with. The Moon Goddess provides.

This is an excellent series. It can be read as a standalone, but I loved all of the books. All unique. All with HEAs for the couple.
I loved that Fate helps destiny and that Aster and Noah accept it. As it should be. I loved discovering what all it entails to be a Seeress and Aster's life. What she had to endure and what secrets she had to keep close to her heart . I loved how she uncovered the lies of being a seeress. Communicating with the grandmothers. And how she was able to determine , in a way, her own destiny. Loved that she could think for herself and help.
I loved that they could communicate. He being the pup with no ears. He being deaf didn't stop him from fulfilling his own fate/destiny.
The worldbuilding was excellent. Steam to the eventual romance. The way that came about was intriguing. The flow was vey good. No pauses from the intense suspense.
I was spellbound, riveted to the end.
Aiden has his own agenda. His revenge for what Aster did. Even after the warning Aster gave him, he still is going forward. It will be interesting how that will turn out.

I feel like if you are new to the paranomalish world, I highly recommend Rose & Savino’s series’. Specifically, Big Bad Betrayal is Book six in the Werewolves of Wall Street series by Renee Rose & Lee Savino. I have read 3 of the six and didn't realize I had missed the last one, I’m excited to catch up.

I loved Aster’s character and was so proud of the strength she had and standing up for herself, and the other members of her pack. I also loved seeing the support and love the Blackthroat pack had for Noah.

My heart hurt for Noah, and could truly feel the hurt he felt from both his mom & Aster for a bit. Loved seeing some peeks into Madi & Brick’s life. It wasn't a huge part of the story, but I liked the parts about Aster being from a cult, and needing to learn to acclimate herself to the world. That wasn't something that had occurred to me until it was mentioned.

If you enjoy a shifter romance (or want to get into), fated mates, tension, found family, with some fun psychic elements I definitely recommend checking it out!

Thank you to the author for the ARC!

Big Bad Betrayal, is the sixth book in the Werewolves of Wall Street series, and although I’ve not read the previous books, I decided to read this one anyway.. and was completely lost and confused.

Aster is the seeress of the Adalwulfs, a mysterious cult-like werewolf pack led by the dangerous Alpha named Aiden. Noah, on the other hand, is the true Adalwulf Alpha, but because he was born deaf, they order him to be killed, replacing him with Aiden instead. Of course, his grandmother, a member of the Blackthroats pack, Adalwulf’s biggest enemy, takes him in and raises him instead. Aster has been having visions of Noah for years, but she doesn’t realize that the visions she sees aren’t just hers.. and when she discovers that he is actually her mate, that’s when things become more dangerous. Now Noah not only has to rescue his mother, but his newly discovered mate as well. Meanwhile, Aiden is trying to force Aster to give him a “true vision” and warning her that, since they will soon be blood bonded, tying them together unless she can’t give him what he needs.

I would love to thanks to Renee for reaching out to me through TikTok and asking me if I was interest a ARC of her new book. That is the Big Bad Betrayal by Renee Rose and Lee Savino. This is about the shift wolf and romance. Glad to read this and complete the arc. Noah is Deaf Alpha Wolf, he was abandon after born due to being pup with no ears which means he is Deaf. Any wolf pup was born that has no ears automatic is Deaf and might been killed or abandoned since born. It was sad to know because they can succeed without ears or hearing. Noah met Aster who is Seeress. The rest of the history, if you want to know what happen then read this book. I was bad to know that Noah can’t lead or not wanting to lead the pack since he is the truth heir Alpha and not Aiden. But I am glad that in the end Noah and Aster have a happy peaceful life with the Blackthroat pack.

Rating a 4 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I don't know that I ever considered Aster and Noah as enemies to lovers. I understood they could be called that because they were "technically" from different packs. Yet, they had dreamed about each other forever, and Noah finally saw her at Brick and Madi's wedding.

This book was about wolves, so it was paranormal in that sense. I wondered if it was more paranormal because Aster was a Seeress, Hugh was a ghost wolf, Esme had a little something "extra" as a human, and Aidan's wolves have glowing red eyes. There seemed to be some extra magic going on in this book.

I liked that Noah was able to get answers to his past even if when events were revealed, he didn't have time to process everything. The whole process of the rite Aster was supposed to complete was enjoyable and had a good amount of suspense. This book still left me wondering what drama Aiden planned to wreck on his enemies next.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

There's Something About 🐺 Shifters

Ummmm Besties… apparently wolf shifter romances have become a thing for me this month because this is my FOURTH one in a row! 😂 And honestly? "Big Bad Betrayal" did its THANG!

The suspense in this book was ridiculously intense from the very beginning. Noah is out for revenge against the pack that destroyed his family, but the second Aster enters the picture? Whew. The tension between them was immediate and dangerous. The 'Enemies to Lovers' dynamic was done SO well because it actually felt risky and emotional instead of just dramatic for the sake of it.

And can we talk about Aster for a second? A psychic FMC locked away by her own pack while Noah slowly turns absolutely feral over protecting her? The possessiveness, the fated mate chaos, the dark pack politics… oh and let's not forget about the spice... HOT!🥵

This was such an enjoyable paranormal romance with suspense, spice, and emotional intensity all wrapped together. Definitely a Must-Add to your TBR.😉

My Ratings: ⭐ 4.5/5 ▪︎ 🥵 3/5

I have read many shifter romances; this one was different.

This was the first shifter story of Lee's that I have read, and I have to say- I really liked it. Aster, the FMC, is a cross breed of sorts. She belongs to a line of female shifters who began as witches but joined to the shifters to strengthen the pack ( not that that improved their treatment at all). She is destined to join to the packs alpha and act as a seerer, strengthening the pack for the future. Unfortunately, over time, the pack has been corrupted and the alpha destined to rule has been deemed damaged and quietly replaced. The replacement alpha is raised cruel and has grand domination plans.

This book really hooked me from the start. The story kept moving, there was great character chemistry, and it built the story well to continue into the next book. Aster and Noah made a great combination. I can't wait to read more.

Aster was the seer for the Adalwolf pack of wolf shifters after her grandmother died, supposed to be bonded to the head of the pack Aiden, but she knew from overhearing conversations that Aiden wasn't the true heir, but a deaf wolf who was ordered to be murdered was Oden's heir...Noah was a lone wolf who joined the team of Brick Blackthroat's Moon Company...a graduate of Harvard and through friendship became a Moon Co. Bro. All the top company men learned ASL since Noah was deaf...but he never joined Brick's pack, partly because he was actually an Adalwolf who wanted to free his mother from a cult run by that pack...so he needed to find her, then create a diversion to free his mother...but was thunderstruck when he saw his fated mate, Aster...but you will need to read this intense and sometimes hilarious story of Noah and Aster with comic relief provided by a friend of Noah's, Esme the witch and bear triplets...I voluntarily read this book through an Advanced Reader Copy.

Noah and Aster are Fated Mates -- Noah is the true heir of the Adalwulf Clan, but he unaware of that. He is with the Blackthorne Pack in NYC but has not officially joined the pack.

Aster is part of the Adulwulf clan and has become the Seeress when her mentor, Oma, passes. She is smart and never reveals the entire vision because deep down she knows that all is not as it seems.

Noah and Aster dream-meet each other before they physically meet each other. Aster is sent to view a tiara and access its powers and what it would mean to the Adalwulf Clan. She is so overwhelmed in the tiara's presence, gets dizzy from all the visions, staggers to the elevator and collapses into Noah's arms. He stays until she is somewhat steady and then he disappears.

I love shifters and Fated Mates stories and this one did not disappoint. I love the emotional journey for Noah and Aster.

This book is part of a series, but it is a standalone and each can be read in any order.

In book six of the Wolves of Wallstreet series the story of Aster and Noah take precedence. Aster is the seeress for the Adalwulf Pack. Noah a lone wolf in the Blackthroat Pack. He has been having dreams of the two of them together. Which is not a good thing, being that Noah works for the Blackthroats as an associate lawyer for Brick Blackthroat, the Alpha of the Pack. Aster is a thorn in Aiden Adalwulf’s side. She must see a vision for him, but only sees her with a wolf not of her Pack.
Noah is set to infiltrate the Adalwulf Pack, but does not get hired by them, so he works for the Blackthroat firm now. Both of them must work for their respective Packs for the good of others than themselves, but do they find time to get together by themselves?
This fast paced enemy to lovers romcom grabs you from the first page. Both Renee Rose and Lee Savino weave a fine tale for readers. Readers of Laura K. Hamilton will flock to the continuing of this series.
