I devoured this in one sitting! Sooooo hot!!!! Brooke always writes the best palette cleanser books and she gave us a daddddyyyy🥵👏🏻

Dodge is a member of the Devils Tide MC and he’s in desperate need of a nanny for his 1yr old daughter. Autumn is starting her life over and needs a job and place to stay. They click immediately and my god were they hot! This book was quick, fun and so spicy. I loved seeing the characters from Claiming the Club Princess in this one. I can’t wait for more in this series!

Thank you so much, B. Sobjakken and The Smuthood for this ARC🩷

4.5🌟, 3🌶️

I am way too weak for a grumpy biker single dad romance.

Dodge pulled me in almost immediately, but honestly, Winnie completely stole my heart. Autumn fit so naturally into their little world, and watching Dodge slowly get attached to her while pretending he wasn’t already gone for her was easily my favorite part of the book.

I really liked the mix of protective biker energy, found family moments, and spice. Dodge had that rough, possessive MC vibe, but underneath all of that he was surprisingly soft when it came to Autumn and his daughter. The chemistry between them was instant, and even though everything moved pretty fast, I still found myself genuinely invested in their relationship and rooting for them the whole time.

I do wish the story had been a little longer because I wanted more buildup, more depth, and honestly just more time with these characters. The MC world and side characters were so fun that I wasn’t ready to leave yet.

This book was such a fun mix of spice, sweetness, and biker drama.

Special thanks to B. Sobjakken & The Smuthood for providing this Advanced Reader Copy. All opinions expressed are entirely my own. ✨

Dodge is a member of the Devils Tide MC club. He finds himself in need of a Nanny for this daughter who is only 1. Autumn needs a new start and a place to get herself back on track.

The spark is immediate and they burn up the pages. This is a short spicy read but that does not distract from the story at all.

This is a fantastic start to a new series and I cannot wait for book 2.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4-Star Review — Dodge

If you’re in the mood for a fast, addictive MC read that doesn’t waste time getting to the tension, Dodge delivers exactly that.

This story leans hard into that forbidden dynamic—a hardened motorcycle club member stuck with a nanny he never asked for. From the start, you can feel the pull between them. It’s messy, it’s complicated, and they both know crossing that line is a bad idea… which honestly just makes it better when they finally do.

The chemistry? 🔥
We’re talking a solid 🌶️🌶️🌶️ spice level with just enough edge to keep it exciting without dragging the story down. And yes… the piercings definitely add to the appeal 🥵—it’s giving everything you want from a dominant, rough-around-the-edges MMC.

What really works here is how quick and to the point it is. No unnecessary filler, no slow dragging plot—just tension, attraction, and payoff. It’s the kind of book you pick up “for a few chapters” and suddenly you’re done.

And if you’re into a little extra kink… 👀
Let’s just say the breeding kink element is very much present and will either hook you in or completely sell you on the book.

Bottom line:
If you want a quick, steamy MC romance with a forbidden twist and instant chemistry, Dodge is absolutely worth the read.

I absolutely adored this book, I’ve read many nanny x single dad romances but never one where the father is in an MC (motorcycle club). I was super intrigued by the plot and B Sobjakken did not disappoint. It’s a very quick and easy read (just under 200 pages) filled with spicy times and sweet moments. Just a warning though, this is your average nanny x single dad romance but the daddy kink is MAJOR in this one, so if you’re uncomfortable, walk away here. I for one though, loved it, and there’s also a huge innocence and corruption kink thing, where she’s this younger girl who just got scammed out of a job and finds this older MC guy willing to take her in. The plot is good, pretty generic in my opinion, mostly just about them fighting the “forbiddeness” of their relationship and moving past it. Autumn was a sweet character, and she does have some character development as she moves past her insecurities. And my gosh Dodge was TO DIE FOR, like the mouth on this man?? I loved his whole caring b out overprotective “daddy” vibe and how he really was the sweetest father to Winnie (his daughter). There’s also a bunch of fun MC club shenanigans and there are some plot twists, but nothing too intense, overall just a spicy fun read. I give this a 4.5/5.

Dodge
By: B. Sobjakken

“Baby, we may be a bunch of dirty bikers, but we know how to get things done. Especially when we have our sights on something we want.”

Slumping into my chair, I roll my head back. I’m becoming a f***ing simp for my nanny, and she doesn’t even know the effect she has on me.

Dodge. My hot boss who I may or may not have a crush on. My beyond sexy roommate who I had a wet dream about. I caught him jacking off and moaning my name. This isn’t real life, and if it is, what am I going to do about it? How can I face him in the morning, knowing what I know now?

Looking for a fast pace motorcycle club romance? Meet Autumn and Dodge! Seeing Autumn take care of Dodge’s girl and Autumn falling in love with Winnie first is so freaking cute! Autumn never felt like she had a home she belonged too until she stumbled into the right bar and found her family. And when the spice hits it is so hot! Their story definitely is setting up for something bigger and I cannot wait to see where it goes!

🌟ARC read🌟

Autumn moves to California on a scholarship and thinks she has everything set up, including a place to live. Turns out, it was a complete scam. She shows up with nowhere to go and no plan, which immediately had me stressed for her.

She ends up at a bar just trying to charge her phone and figure things out, and that’s where everything changes. She meets people connected to an MC club, and the bar owner mentions that one of the members is looking for a nanny. Enter Dodge.

Their attraction is instant, and once they give in… 🔥🥵 it definitely delivers on the spice.

I really liked the group dynamic and the side characters. The group chats were fun and added a lot to the story. It felt like a solid MC world, just not explored as deeply as I wanted.

My biggest issue is that it felt too short. I wanted more buildup, more detail, and more time with the characters. Everything moved pretty fast, especially considering the situation she was in and how quickly things progressed with Dodge.

That being said, if you’re here for a quick, spicy MC read with a nanny trope and a strong breeding kink element, this hits the mark.

Spicy chapters🔥

I read this book in a full sitting! No waiting and delaying, I didn’t want to put it down.
Autumn and Dodge are very different people but with similar relationships regarding their parents.
They may not have a lot of blood family but that doesn’t make them completely alone. Dodge and his chosen family are nothing but supportive from the very beginning, even if it took a little liquid courage to reveal their desires.
I’m gutted it ended so soon and I’m left with alot of questions, and so many missed opportunities to see Winnie and her parents together! Yes parents because it was love at first sight with Autumn! I give it 4 stars and wished it was longer but I thoroughly enjoyed it and thankful to both the author and the Smuthood for letting me be one of the arc readers for this story! 🥰

I originally beta read Dodge and then re-read once ARCs dropped and I could honestly go back to page 1 rn and start all over again bc this was GOOD! It was so hot and the relationship development between Dodge and Autumn was everything. The way little Winnie loved Autumn and vice versa 😩 my freaking heart!!!! I loved little Miss Winnie and Dodge calling her and Autumn his girls had me feral. Daddy was definitely taking care of his girls. The found family aspect for Autumn was so heartwarming too. I loved how the whole crew adopted her in like one of their own. Now back to Daddy Dodge….mans was LOVING Autumn referring to him as daddy and jumped at the chance to take that word into the bedroom and it was HOT 🥵 we love a big bad biker who falls for his sweet little nanny.

I ate up this motorcycle romance in one sitting!! Under 170 pages with a delicious pacing & spice that hit some of my favorite spicy microtropes!!!

Dodge is a single dad in the Devil’s Tide MC & he’s in desperate need of a nanny. When Autumn shows up in town down on her luck and looking for a job and place to live while she finishes her college degree it leads her right to Dodge & his daughter! These two were HOT, playful, & I loved the build up to their relationship & when it hits they are explosive together! 🔥 I mean, who doesn’t love the single dad x nanny trope?!?!

B. Sobjakken brings us the MC I have been craving since reading Claiming the Club Princess!!
Dodge needs a nanny for his one year old daughter. Autumn finds herself broke and homeless, when she is offered the job as a nanny. This is a fast paced MC with the breeding trope that makes for a very, very good read!

I can always count on a B. Sobjakken to hit & bring the spice asap!

Dodge is a MC club romance with some of my favorite tropes & microtropes, and it doesn’t disappoint. Dodge is a single dad in need of a nanny, and after being down on her luck Autumn walks right into Dodge’s MC Devil’s Tide territory. Autumn needs a job & Dodge needs a nanny he can trust- the only problem is these two are into one another on day one! The spice hits quick and it never dulls. This is 170ish pages of pure spice and it’s a quick read as things happen fast!

Dodge has:
- single dad & nanny
- breeding k!nk
- Motorcycle club
- daddy k!nk
- Found family

Thank you to Smuthood and B. Sobjakken for an ARC copy of this one. I can’t wait for more of Devil’s Tide, and if you want more I highly recommend Claiming the Club Princess!

This was such a fun read!!!

Loved the single dad element & how Dodge was stepping up and being the best dad that he could. He is obsessed with Autumn from the first time he sees her and I love that he claimed her with no messing around.

Autumn was so sweet. She didn’t have family or back up but she fit into the club so seamlessly. I loved that the girls at the club took her under their wing and it wasn’t like a women against women situation.

The spice was great and I love that there seems to be a through storyline for the rest of the series

It takes a few chapters to get there, but when it happens, it’s explosive. 🔥

I would like to state right at the beginning that I loved this novella and found it to be a great start to a new series—a perfect and tasteful blend of romance, erotica, light drama, and MC life. I would definitely recommend it to fans of this genre who are looking for a new, exciting book to read in their free time.

Dodge by B. Sobjakken is a nanny/single dad novella focusing on the relationship between the road captain of the Devil's Tide MC, Dodge, and the down-on-her-luck college student Autumm, who is looking for a place to live and make a fresh start. Thanks to fortunate circumstances, Autumm soon starts nannying Dodge’s little girl, Winnie, and things unfold from there.

I don’t want to dive into more details, as it could contain spoilers and take the fun out of it.

Might contain a few spoilers:
I thoroughly enjoyed this MC novella, where the FMC and MMC have an instant attraction to one another. What made me like it the most, however, was how their relationship developed and how it played out. The chemistry is certainly there, but neither of them acts on it right away.

Autumm, who has struggled her whole life, is trying to turn things around. Having developed a strong bond with the baby and a domestic routine with the father, she doesn’t want to ruin it or become a cliché. Dodge, on the other hand, is protective of his daughter first—since Autumm is still technically a stranger—and, having paid the price for reckless decisions in the past, doesn’t turn into an OTT alpha hero either (as we’re often used to in this genre). This makes the whole situation feel more grounded and realistic.

And once that restraint breaks, the floodgates truly open. The passion, romance, and chemistry take centre stage, with the lead characters giving in to the heat and trying to make a baby and expand this unconventional family soon after. It is by no means a slow burn, but the slight, organic development of their relationship could have allowed this book to be longer—maybe even a short novel—with more detail. That would also have helped smooth out the short time jumps in which Autumm and Dodge grow more accustomed to one another. However, as a novella, it is skillfully executed, neither feeling rushed nor dragging.

Not to make it all about the romance, Ms. Sobjakken also adds recurring characters from previous standalones and includes plotlines revolving around MC life. She gives us a glimpse of it through the unknowing perspective of Autumm, who is completely new to this way of life. The reader also gains insight into the tensions between the MC and the townspeople it resides among.

My only criticism is directed at some of the dialogue between the MC members, which is occasionally a little vague and hard to follow. I’m assuming Ms. Sobjakken chose to write it this way to keep the dialogue as authentic as possible, but for readers with no real knowledge of the backstories of the side characters and MC life, it can be a bit confusing.

Overall, this was a highly enjoyable MC novella with a satisfying balance of realism, romance, and heat.

I am an absolute SUCKER for a grumpy biker secretly turning into the world’s softest DADDY and Dodge delivered that energy so hard I’m still recovering 🥹🏍️

This book felt like wrapping up in leather jackets, found family chaos, tiny sticky kid hugs, and a whole lot of emotional whiplash in the best way possible. I loved it SO much.

Autumn completely stole my heart from the beginning. This poor girl cannot catch a break and yet she still keeps going with so much warmth and resilience. She walks into this MC world with basically nothing left and somehow becomes the emotional center of everything without even trying. I adored how naturally she connected with Winnie. It never felt forced or overly perfect. She just loved that little girl with her whole heart and honestly every scene with them together melted me into a puddle.

And DADDY DODGE 😩
Big scary biker man with a weakness for his daughter and the nanny??? Immediate destruction of my emotional stability.

This man was down BAD and didn’t even realize it at first. Watching him slowly become obsessed with having Autumn around, seeing how good she was with Winnie, noticing all the little things about her while trying to convince himself he absolutely did not want a family… delicious. Ten out of ten. No notes.

But little Winnie??? SHE was the real boss of this book and I would die for her actually. Every scene with her made my heart grow three sizes. The dynamic between the three of them felt so natural and cozy that I wanted to crawl inside the pages and live there permanently. Found family romances always get me but this one hit especially hard because it felt earned.

And the chemistry between Autumn and Dodge?? Whew. The tension had that perfect MC romance flavor where it’s protective and possessive and rough around the edges but underneath it there’s so much tenderness trying to claw its way out. Dodge pretending he wasn’t already emotionally attached while acting like Autumn and Winnie hung the moon had me grinning like an idiot.

love when previous characters still feel woven into the world instead of disappearing into the void after their book. The Devil’s Tide MC family vibe was EVERYTHING.

This book had heart, heat, emotional moments that punched me directly in the chest, and enough sweetness to balance out all the biker grit perfectly.

I finished it with the biggest smile on my face and immediately wanted to reread all the Winnie scenes again.

This novella pulls you in fast and doesn’t waste a second delivering exactly what it promises—heat, heart, and a whole lot of chemistry. B. Sobjakken introduces Dodge, a rugged member of the Devils Tide MC, who’s juggling club life while raising his one-year-old daughter, Winnie. Enter Autumn, who’s trying to rebuild after landing in a tough situation with nowhere to turn. When their paths cross, the connection is instant—and intense.

The single dad/nanny setup works perfectly here, especially with how naturally Autumn bonds with Winnie right away. That emotional foundation makes the growing attraction between her and Dodge feel believable, even as things quickly turn fiery. Autumn doesn’t immediately give in, which adds a nice tension, and it makes Dodge stepping up all the more satisfying when he finally does.

The story may be short, but it manages to pack in a surprising amount of depth. There’s enough backstory and character interaction to make everything feel fleshed out, without slowing down the pace. Fans of Claiming the Club Princess will appreciate seeing Gage, Mikayla, and Shaw—it’s not essential to know their story beforehand, but it definitely adds another layer of enjoyment.

What really stands out is how the MC world is portrayed. Instead of leaning on clichés, the Devil’s Tide MC feels like a tight-knit, supportive group. The banter between Dodge and his club brothers is genuinely funny, especially their text exchanges, which bring some great comedic moments into an otherwise steamy read.

And yes—this book absolutely leans into the spice. The chemistry between Dodge and Autumn is off the charts, with plenty of bold, unapologetic scenes that will definitely appeal to readers who enjoy tropes like single dad romance, ddlg dynamics, and breeding themes. Still, underneath all that heat, there’s a softness to their story that keeps it from feeling one-note.

If there’s one thing missing, it’s a longer look into their future. The ending wraps things up nicely, but an extended epilogue showing more of their life together—especially with their growing family—would have made it even more satisfying.

Overall, this is a fast, addictive read that blends humor, emotion, and seriously steamy moments. Even if MC romance isn’t usually your thing, this one might surprise you.

B. Sobjakken returns with a short and spicy story featuring Dodge and Autumn—two incredibly likable characters with plenty of chemistry and steamy moments. The love scenes were plenty, super spicy, and tantalizing. This was one of my most anticipated reads by B. Sobjakken. Despite their strong attraction to each other, I loved how their relationship progressed naturally because Autumn did her best to resist Dodge until he made the first move. This book does take place in the world of Claiming the Club Princess . Although it isn't necessary to read that book, it does enhance the story and experience since Gage, Mikayla, and Shaw make an appearance in Dodge and Autumn’s story.

“I know once we cross this line, there’s no going back. She’s going to be mine, and if she tries to fight it, I’ll just have to convince her we’re meant to be. Autumn isn’t what I was expecting, but she’s everything I need in my life and I don’t want to lose her.”

In the end, I had such a fantastic time reading this book and absolutely devoured all of the spicy scenes between Dodge and Autumn. Although I typically don’t read MC romance, I thought the author did an exceptional job explaining the club’s dynamic and how it played a role in their lives. The side characters were also hilarious. I especially loved the interactions between Dodge and his club brothers. I hope B. Sobjakken will expand this world and write stories for these characters in the future. Despite their happy and relatively complete ending, I would have liked to see an extended epilogue of Dodge and Autumn's happily ever after. I specifically wanted to see what life was like with their new extended family member.

Nevertheless, this was an enjoyable read and I recommend it to those who are looking for a short, sweet, and spicy story featuring several tropes and kinks including the single dad/nanny trope, breeding kink, and dd/lg.

Love Autumn and Dodge!

Dodge is book one in the Devil’s Tide MC series, and it’s such a great book to kick off the series. Dodge, the Road Captain of the Devils Tide MC, is a single dad struggling to balance work, MC life and taking care of his 1-year old daughter, Winnie.

Autumn is new to town, recently transferred to the nearby college to complete her graduate program. It’s when Autumn arrives into town that she realizes she has been scammed out of a place to stay. Stranded with no where to go, Autumn finds herself at a bar. Tink, the bartender of the bar, provides Autumn with a meal and helps her find a motel to stay and recommends Autumn as a nanny to Dodge.

As expected, Dodge is hesitant in hiring Autumn as Winnie’s nanny, because she is considered a “outsider” to the MC, however, Dodge decides to give Autumn a chance. When Autumn meets Winnie for the first time, she naturally bonds with her instantly. She cares for Winnie like she is her own and it just makes the single dad/nanny trope so much better. Autumn doesn’t just instantly connect with Winnie, she also has an instant attraction to Dodge as well. And that attraction isn’t just one sided. But due to their dynamic, they both attempt to fight their attraction for one another, but ultimately they fail. Once Dodge and Autumn get together those scenes get pretty steamy. Especially once the Daddy and breeding kinks come in 🥵

I love how on the outside, Dodge is this tough MC biker, but he has this sweetness to him that’s only given to Autumn and Winnie. And he is fiercely protective of his girls. Despite Autumn’s past, she is the absolute sweetest. She doesn’t let her past affect her and she remains positive witn everything thrown her way.

I do feel like this book may have been a little too fast paced. There were some portions of the plot where I wanted a little more insight on. But, being that this is the first book of the series, I’m hopeful that the additional insight/details will be given in the upcoming books.

If you want a fast-paced and steamy addictive MC romance that has instant chemistry and a steamy plot then Dodge is the book for you. Can’t wait to read the rest of the Devil’s Tide MC series!

2.5 ⭐️

While I did breeze through this, I wasn’t the biggest fan. I hadn’t read anything by this author when I requested the ARC, so I read one of the Immoral Starts series. I didn’t love that either, so maybe these just aren’t for me.

These definitely seem to be more spice-centric than concerned with the story. Dodge and Autumn’s relationship was very one dimensional. It was a case of insta-lust, which usually isn’t my favorite but I can deal as long as the story is compelling. Unfortunately, this doesn’t have a very compelling story. There’s really no drama or tension besides the brief build-up to their physical relationship. But the stuff with the club, the family drama, etc. really seems like an afterthought. Some things were needlessly over-explained (like why she left her pregnancy tests in her other bathroom), while other things were extremely vague (the town drama, Dodge’s shady cousin). I’m sure some of this was probably touched upon in the first novella? But idk, it was just seriously lacking for me. I know the name of the series is “Devil’s Tide MC Series”, but no one actually even says the name of the club until the SECOND TO LAST CHAPTER. Wild.

I read a lot of dark romance, so I’m cozy with very “non traditional” relationship portrayals, all sorts of kinks, “triggering” content, etc. But even the sex scenes in this were only fine to me. For some reason I just couldn’t get past meeting a man and within a month being like YES IMPREGNATE ME 🤣 idgaf how hot he is. Breeding kink stuff can be super hot (hello, everything Elliott Rose has ever written on the subject 😮‍💨), however I totally prefer it when it’s fantasy-based and does NOT result in pregnancy. The Immoral Starts book I read also had a surprise pregnancy, so maybe it’s just the author’s thing. Sadly, it’s not mine.

Sooo, it wasn’t terrible, but it definitely wasn’t for me. I think if someone was looking for a spicy quick read, with not a lot of concern for story then this would prob be up their alley.

Short and sweet and filthy is the name of the game in B. Sobjakken's "Dodge," a single biker dad x nanny novella, the first in the Devil's Tide MC series. I was engrossed in this story from start to finish. For a novella to have this much backstory and connection between characters in such a short amount of time is not something I frequently find in novellas. Autumn (FMC) is in a bad way after she gets scammed in a brand new town with very little left to her name. Seeking refuge, she winds up making a connection with a few local bikers, who let her know someone in their club is looking for a nanny. Autumn meets Dodge and his one-year-old daughter, Winnie, the next day, and gets hired on the spot. Autumn instantly connects to Winnie, whose mother is not in the picture anymore, and the attraction and chemistry between Dodge and Autumn is mutual and sizzling. I connected to them instantly and totally bought into their relationship. B. Sobjakken is a master at spicy scenes. Even if you think a trope isn't your favorite, she'll find a way to make you change your mind about that. My goodness, have a fan close by, because this book is SPICY!!!! Lots of "daddy"-ing going on, both literally and otherwise. There is a sweetness to Dodge and Autumn's story, too, despite him being a big, burly biker. In fact, many of the misconceptions about "biker gangs" are dispelled by the Devil's Tide MC, which felt refreshing. I loved all of the side characters/members of the MC/the club-ladies. Their hilarious interactions with Dodge via text message made me laugh out loud on more than one occasion. If you're looking for a quick and dirty novella to read that's engaging and full of humor, honesty, and sexiness, this is the book for you!

Thank you to B. Sobjakken and The Smuthood for the complimentary ARC of this book. All opinions are my own. I was not compensated for this review.

Thoughts
I loved how Autumn and Dodge’s chemistry was intense, protective, possessive, rough, yet tender underneath. Dodge’s pretend indifference while adoring Autumn and Winnie had me smiling. I devoured this in one sitting, so hot! B. Sobjakken delivers the perfect palate cleanser with heart, heat, emotional punches, and just enough sweetness to balance the biker grit. Overall, a great read and I would recommend it.

B. Sobjakken always creates a spicy and consuming and unforgettable read that breaks all the rules and pushes the boundaries in the best way. This book was no different and I was absolutely here for it. I loved everything about the premise of this book. A single dad and his nanny, a motorcycle club, things being off-limits, and a bit of a breeding kink…I was sold. And honestly, I could not get enough of this story and these characters. I literally devoured this book in a matter of hours because I could not put it down. I was hooked, I was invested, and I loved every bit of it!

Autumn and Dodge had an instant connection in this book and I loved getting to be with them as they figured out what it all meant. Set in the world of a motorcycle club that I’ve already fallen in love with, and I just could not get enough of the story. I definitely have my fingers crossed that this author plans to write more in this world because I would read every single thing about these characters. There’s just something so consuming about all of them and I was here for it.

I just loved everything that autumn and Dodge shared because what they felt was undeniable. And getting to watch them figure it all out, and wade through all of that feeling and connection was the best. And it definitely made for a fiery as hell story. This author puts you in the thick of all of that fire and you just love it. You love it and you just want more of it. And that is what I felt through every word of this book.

This is another must read from this author, and it is the start to what I hope is an incredible new series from her. You will love how consumed you get within this book and you will definitely love all that these characters bring to the pages of their story. It is unforgettable, spicy, and it breaks the rules in the best way, and it’s just the best!

Dodge by B. Sobjakken is a heartfelt and engaging single dad romance that blends found family, emotional growth, and a strong sense of community. Set against a motorcycle club backdrop, the story offers a mix of warmth, tension, and tenderness that keeps you invested from start to finish.

Autumn’s journey is one of resilience and rebuilding. Starting from a place of uncertainty, she gradually finds stability and purpose, and watching her step into a nurturing role feels both natural and rewarding. Her bond with Dodge's daughter, Winnie, is especially touching and adds a genuine emotional core to the story that is hard not to love.

Dodge brings a steady and protective presence, balancing his responsibilities as a father and a leader. His devotion to his daughter is clear, and the way he prioritizes her while opening his life to Autumn creates a strong foundation for their connection. Their relationship develops with a mix of softness and tension that keeps things interesting.

The motorcycle club setting adds an extra layer to the story, highlighting themes of loyalty and not judging people based on appearances. There is a clear emphasis on community and support, which helps round out the emotional depth of the book.

This lands at a 4 star rating because Autumn’s internal conflict can feel repetitive at times. Her hesitation and judgment toward Dodge and his world, while understandable, occasionally slow the progression of their relationship and create moments of frustration.

Even so, her growth throughout the story and the way she embraces both her role and her feelings make the journey worthwhile. The connection between all three characters builds into a satisfying and heartfelt conclusion.

Overall, this is a warm and enjoyable read that delivers emotion, romance, and a strong found family dynamic with a memorable happily ever after.
