I’m such a fan of Tess Chase and her writing style. She always creates emotionally charged stories with strong chemistry and vivid characters, and Snowed in with the Silver Foxes definitely delivers on the intensity and drama.
That said, I had a really hard time finishing this one. The betrayal from Sarah was just too much for me. Starting a relationship with your best friend’s fiancé is already painful, but then inviting her to the wedding and expecting her to show up and be fully present? That crossed a line I just couldn’t get past. What made it worse was watching the fiancé (mias ex) openly bully her while Sarah stood by and allowed it to happen. The lack of accountability and loyalty was frustrating.
I also struggled with Mia as the lead. I wanted her to stand up for herself more. Watching her tolerate that behavior without stronger boundaries made it difficult for me to stay connected to her journey.
I still love Tess Chase’s writing and will absolutely read more from her, but this one just wasn’t for me. Unfortunately, it ended up being a DNF.

When Jason left Mia standing at the altar, you’d think that would be the ultimate betrayal. But apparently not, because he somehow manages to outdo himself by getting engaged to her best friend, Sarah. Yes. Her best friend. The audacity alone deserves its own award. The real kicker is that Mia had already been noticing Jason’s red flags long before the wedding disaster. However, the problem is that trying to convince your best friend that her charming, attentive fiancé might actually be a manipulative walking red flag is… tricky. Especially when said best friend is deeply committed to the “love conquers all” narrative. Yet, the part that truly made me blink in disbelief was that Sarah invited Mia to the wedding and Mia actually went. I’m sorry, but if my ex-fiancé who publicly humiliated me was marrying my best friend, my RSVP would be a very firm “absolutely not.” Still, Mia goes, proving she’s either the most loyal friend alive or a glutton for emotional punishment. Thankfully, the trip isn’t a complete disaster, because Mia meets Sarah’s three silver fox uncles. And honestly? They’re the highlight of this whole mess. Tyler is all easy charm and warm smiles, Marcus radiates quiet confidence and intensity, and Alexander practically drips with controlled authority. Together, they pull Mia in like gravity, and watching the sparks fly between the four of them is easily the most entertaining part of the book. Meanwhile, Jason is out there working overtime as the story’s villain. The man has manipulation down to an art form. Every time Mia tries to raise a legitimate concern, he twists the situation just enough to make her look jealous, bitter, or dramatic. It’s the kind of behavior that makes you want to reach into the book and shake someone. Which brings me to my one major frustration: Mia and her trio of men could have pushed back harder. There were multiple moments where I wanted someone—anyone—to shut Jason down properly. And Sarah? For someone who’s supposedly Mia’s lifelong best friend, she’s shockingly quick to believe Jason’s nonsense and painfully slow to defend Mia. Mia forgiving her almost immediately honestly says more about Mia’s character than Sarah’s. As for the romance, it’s a little different from what the blurb suggests. Yes, there’s snow, but no cozy snowed-in isolation. Instead, they’re stuck at the venue with the entire wedding party and guests, which makes sneaking around for stolen moments a lot trickier. That said, the chemistry between Mia and the three men absolutely sizzles as they tentatively explore a four-way relationship that’s new territory for everyone involved. There’s plenty of spice along the way, even with all the wedding drama happening in the background, and at one point there’s even a food fight, which was… unexpected, mildly chaotic, and slightly bizarre. Overall, this was a messy mix of wedding drama, infuriating manipulation, loyal friendships (some better than others), and a whole lot of silver fox energy. And honestly? Watching Jason get what he deserved while Mia finds something much better was half the fun. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
She comes to survive the wedding. She finds three men she can't ignore.
Mia arrives at a snowed-in mountain lodge already bruised by the past, forced to watch the man who broke her while he marries her best friend. She’s barely holding it together, but Tyler, Marcus, and Alexander see straight through the mask. As the storm closes in and the tension builds, Mia can’t pretend she doesn’t want more than survival.
Tyler gives her warmth, charm, and the attention that feels dangerous because it’s easy to trust. Marcus is steady and quietly intense, making safety feel intimate. Alexander resists hardest, and that restraint only makes every glance feel sharper. Attraction turns into something deeper, because Mia isn’t just being wanted, she’s being understood.
As the wedding weekend unravels, old lies surface and Mia has to face what she’s been swallowing. The more exposed she feels, the more fiercely these three men stand beside her, and their bond shifts from heat into trust, protection, and emotional risk. It’s messy, intimate, and consuming in a way that asks Mia to stop shrinking and finally choose herself.
Mia begins humiliated, guarded, and hurt, but she grows into someone who owns her desire and stops apologizing for what she needs. Tyler’s easy confidence deepens into devotion, Marcus lets his protectiveness become something openly tender, and Alexander’s control gives way to fierce, deliberate love. Together, they build a relationship rooted in heat, safety, and loyalty.
An ultra-steamy, age gap, why choose romance set during a snowed-in wedding weekend, exploring betrayal, recovery, trust, and reclaiming your voice after humiliation and emotional damage. It’s about being seen at your lowest, wanted without shame, and choosing a future built on honesty, protection, and unconventional love.
The Elevator Pitch: Trapped at her ex’s wedding in a mountain lodge buried by snow, a woman already hanging by a thread finds herself seen, desired, and fiercely protected by three older men who know she’s in more danger than she realizes. As the storm tightens around them and old betrayals start coming apart, attraction turns into something hotter, riskier, and far more intimate than any of them can ignore. It’s a high-heat story about humiliation, hunger, and the moment a woman stops surviving what broke her and starts choosing the life and love that are finally hers.
Mistake #1: Falling for a con artist. Mistake #2: Standing beside him while he marries my best friend. Mistake #3: Letting my father’s three best friends see exactly how broken he left me.
Then the blizzard hits.
Me. The happy couple. And three silver foxes who’ve watched over me my entire life.
Alexander. Marcus. Tyler.
They know my ex is dangerous. That he never planned to let me walk away. That I’m safer with them.
But there’s nothing safe about the way Alexander corners me in the wine cellar. Nothing gentle about the way Marcus grips my hips when the lights go out. Nothing restrained about the way Tyler whispers: You were never meant for him.
My ex thinks I’ll keep his secrets.
Well, he’s wrong.
When the storm ends, I’ll be standing with my silver foxes. And a future he’ll never touch.

Ok, so I may actually be stripped of my official femanist card for this (but is that really a bad thing these days?): I LOVED the dynamic here. Not just Mia and the brothers, (which, by the way, left scorch marks on my couch) but the overall, NON-equal dynamic between Mia and her guys AND her dad. Sometimes a girl just NEEDS a whole squadron of knights in shinig armor to smear the bad guy across the pavement, and sometimes, the biggest badass on the block is still her dad. I was NOT expecting this dynamic, but I am HERE FOR IT! Frequently, when I come across a FMC in a why choose setting, she has massive angst and anxiety that prevent her from pulling up her big girl panties and marching back into battle, forcing her MMCs to do the fighting for her in a ridiculous mockery of the knights-in-shining-armor thing. It makes me want to throw her off a very high cliff and take the guys for myself. That's why I was SO pleased with Mia. No wishy-washy, anxiety-riddled ninny here. She knew what it would take to win, acknowledged her limits, and graciously accepted the might and power her family brought to the battle. I have never seen a complimentary dynamic so well portrayed in a why choose situation before. Hate me for saying it, but I dare you to read Mia's story and then disagree with me.

Thank you to Tess Chase for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Snowed in with the Silver Foxes was such a fun and cozy read. The snowed-in trope always creates the perfect setup for tension and romance, and this story definitely makes the most of it.
Being stuck together in a winter setting adds an extra layer of intimacy to the story. As the characters spend more time together, their connections start to deepen in ways that feel both natural and entertaining to watch unfold.
The chemistry between the characters was one of the highlights for me. There’s a great balance between playful moments and emotional connection that keeps the story engaging from start to finish.
This is a 5 ⭐ for me because:
• the snowed-in trope created great tension • the character dynamics were fun and engaging • the winter setting added a cozy atmosphere • the romance was entertaining and satisfying
Warm. Cozy. Addictive.
Read this book if you like:
• snowed-in / forced proximity tropes • silver fox love interests • cozy winter romances • playful yet emotional relationship dynamics
Snowed In With The Silver Foxes is another good read by Tess Chase and it had me hooked from the very beginning. The plot and storyline was interesting and pulled me in quickly and was also enhanced up by detailed and engaging characters through individual POVs, each with distinctive personalities and strengths that developed along with their emotional connections to the FMC Mia. Plenty of intrigue and drama was threaded throughout the story which kept it moving along well that involved the four main characters and this only contributed to the strengthening of the bond the brothers and Mia were developing. The minor characters were great and the ex-fiancé was suitably nefarious and manipulative. The dynamics, chemistry and steamy scenes between Mia and Alexander, Marcus and Tyler were well written and their protectiveness of Mia was heart warming and made you feel invested in a HEA for them. I would recommend this book and look forward to reading more by this author.

Interesting story but I felt like it was lacking a bit and I'm not sure why.
So this book follows Mia has she attempts to get through her best friend Sarah's wedding weekend to her ex fiancé Jason. Jason is a master manipulator and Mia wants nothing but to protect her best friend. Her father is working hard to help the wedding go through because he thinks Mia is still stuck on Jason. Sarah's uncles/guardians also want the wedding to come to an end. What happens when Mia and the uncle's start working together? Does the wedding happen? Can these older men continue to ignore their best friends daughter or does a relationship form between the four of them?
This book had me hanging on the edge of my seat. I was laughing, crying and just angry at the situation. I liked the characters but I felt Mia needed to stand up for herself and that Sarah was just a bitch. The only people on Mia's side were the uncle's, not even her dad had her back. But the story flowed well and kept me guessing as to what was going to happen next.
After being jilted at the alter by Jason (he's a total dingus and needs to be punched in the face), Mia is left to put the pieces of her life back together. She manages to do so. Now after a flight, a disastrous check in at the car rental place (no rental for her), dealing with a rude guy demanding a car and hurting the clerks feelings, then trying to get up to the lodge where her best friends is marrying the loser who left her. Yep the best friend is now with Jason. She is put face to face with Jason, his mean spirit, and hurtful whispers, but there are 3 hot silver foxes looking to stand in her corner. Lots of steam, heat and of course a parent who is protective of his daughter. We have the best of all tropes, best friends uncle, father’s best friend, age gap and reverse harem. Book will defiantly warm you up on a cold day.

The chemistry between Mia and the three men, Alexander, Marcus, and Tyler, is solid. Each has a distinct personality. Tyler is funny and easy to like, Marcus protective and stoic, and Alexander controlled in all the right ways. The romance develops individually, and the group dynamic takes time to feel more established as the men each wrestle with a touch of jealousy and desire for Mia.
For me, the book stumbles with the rest of the plot. Some of the decisions concerning the best friend and Mia's ex, Jason, feel a bit bizarre and inconsistent.
As a whole, the book was okay. The romance and chemistry kept me reading to see how they would get their HEA, but the plot outside of that felt uneven and a bit grinding to get through.
Ratings Explained: ★☆☆☆☆ – This book wasn’t for me ★★☆☆☆ – I didn’t like it ★★★☆☆ – It was okay ★★★★☆ – I liked it ★★★★★ – I loved it.

Another great story from Tess Chase, I love her writing, her stories keep you gripped from start to finish and this book is no exception. I couldn't put it down. This story is a wonderful mix of heartbreak, heat and passion, betrayal and blackmail, it has so many twists and turns to keep you hooked and on your toes from start to finish. Mia agrees to be maid of honour for her best friend who is marrying the guy who left Mia at the altar, but when she arrives at the lodge for the wedding weekend Mia falls for her besties three uncles Tyler, Marcus and Alexander. A great story that I can happily recommend you read.

Tyler, Alexander, Marcus and Mia’s story is a polyamory, rom-com with a bit of cheating ( not by the main characters ), and a criminal who’s out to marry her best friend Sarah ( the men’s niece ). So lots of moving parts in this story, with her ex-fiancé being the new prospective groom to be ! I did say lots of moving parts, or should I have said “it’s a rollercoaster ride with everyone praying the PI gets there in time to stop the wedding”? However you want it, it’s full of heat, heart and a food fight it 2 ! Good storyline with great characters, open door multi partner sex. 4✨’s.

This is a reverse harem age-gap romance. It is full of hot chemistry, steamy scenes and a happy ever after ending. What I love most about this story is the plot. Even if you took out the steamy scenes you still have a great story underneath. I like the question of what would you do to save your best friend who is marrying your ex? I love that the author wrote characters I want to read, ones that allow me to get lost in the story. The first chapter drew me in, the twists, turns and surprises that I don't see coming kept my attention until the last page.

This was quite the wild read with Mia, having her best friend, Sarah, marrying her loser ex, who turns out to be a con artist, and Sarah's three uncles trying to stop said wedding. With some sleuthing, Mia, Tyler, Alexander and Marcus get some of the horrible picture that Jason, the groom, is up to, but he's not going down without a fight. They also find that they're all attracted to Mia and want to let that chemistry burn them up ;P Expect to get caught up in the drama, betrayal, emotions and steam as Mia gets her HEA with the three men that show her just how much they love her. Good fun!
This is about Mia, Alexander, Tyler and Marcus. Mia holds everything together on her own, she has been put in hard situations by people who are meant to love her, but she keeps her kind heart. The more she gets to know the Birch brothers, the less she feels alone, they listen to her, support her, and she feels like maybe she is someone worth staying for. They work as a team to help the bride find out the truth about the groom. I liked that they fought for what is right and everyone got what they deserved.

I really wanted to give this more stars but there were a few too many holes and inconsistencies and things were not appropriate for men in their forties to react or act the way they did. It was hard to keep up with it sometimes. Knowing what her ex did, her father still offered the lodge for her cheating ex and her best friend who was the other woman … they took her to a cabin in the middle of the property to keep her safe for one whole night when they could have just stayed in one of their suites… just to name a few. It would have made a lot more sense if the age gap wasn’t so wide or the men acted more mature for their ages.
Mia finds herself caught up in chaos and a whole lot of drama. First, she is left at the altar and then said fiancé is up to marry her best friend at her father's lodge. If that isn't enough her father's best friends sees her at her lowest. Getting snowed in and close proximity with them has sparks igniting and new relationships blossoming, but her ex isn't finished will her new men be able to keep her safe from her ex.

There are lots of connections in this read. There's Mia and her father Jarrod, who owns the lodge where the wedding is situated. There's the bride and groom, Sarah and Jason, who are Mia's bestie and her ex-fiance. Then there's the three Birch brothers, Alexander, Marcus and Tyler, who are Jarrod's longtime best friends, Sarah's uncles and Mia's new love interests. All this makes for a steamy story with loads of pre-wedding drama, age gap (OMYW) and why choose heat.

This was confusing but yeah it was a really good book
All I gotta say is Mia was a really good friend That I don't think I would have gone to the same length she did to protect her friend. I would like to think I would honestly She went through many ups and downs along the way. This book is an a little bit unusual with 3 heroes And 1 heroine But you could see the attraction the way the author wrote the book I couldn't help but be a little envious. It was a 1 night read so it's not too terribly long but it puts everything in the story that you would want in a good romance.
I love reading anything by Tess Chase and this book did not disappoint. The chemistry between the FMC and the 3 MMC was amazing and the storyline did not disappoint either. Once you started reading this book you couldn't put it down until you finished the ending. Book ended with a HEA which everyone loves to read. The spice level is there along with the quick relationships that end up going somewhere. Can't wait for the next book to come out by Tess as she is an amazing storyteller! loved it !! love this series !! love Mia, Alexander, Tyler and Marcus... this is their story.. a fast paced fun rom/com drama... with mistakes... Mia's mistakes... she fell for a con man, he's to marry her best friend and she stayed silent...then, there's her father's best friends and her bestie's uncles there to stop her bestie/their niece from marrying her ex... and they all get snowed in together !!! so good !!!.

Why Choose Romance. Mia is a young woman attending her best friend's wedding to her toxic ex-boyfriend. While supporting her friend, she finds herself falling for her three gorgeous uncles, who are there to prove the groom-to-be is a fraud. But as they get caught up in the chemistry of their relationship, danger closes in. Will Mia and her three men have a beautiful romance, or will Mia's ex-boyfriend do everything he can to tear them apart….

Mia is so not looking forward to the wedding this weekend, but it is her best friend and she feels she has to be there for her. She would find it easier if the groom wasn't her former fiancé - the one who left her at the alter. But she will suck it up and do her best to get through the weekend's festivities. She didn't count on her best friend's uncles and the attraction between them. Maybe there is an up side to the weekend after all.

Attending the wedding of her best friend and ex-fiancé was not on Mia’s bingo card. Although she is trying her hardest to hold her head high and be dignified many obstacles are in her path. Three very attractive uncle’s of her best friend and they also happen to be friends with Mia’s father. Her ex-fiancé is a con man looking for his next meal ticket. Torn between wanting the truth to be revealed, attraction to three incredible men and her own pain Mia not only makes an impactful move.

Loved the backgroundstory on proving the FMC's ex being a fraud and an allround miserable human being. Of course the main focus is on our FMC and the three silver foxes circling around her, claiming her.
Great characters with all different strengths and weaknesses. Nice description of the surroundings, loved to vacay at the lodge.
Got me all worked and wanted to throw a punch myself😉.

'They know my ex is dangerous. That he never planned to let me walk away. That I’m safer with them.'
The characters drove the storyline and they were so very appealing and likeable and complicated and perfectly steamy together. Plot was intriguing and intense and well paced. World building was solidly drawn and impressive. Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend!

What can I say, this was quite dramatic, there were times I had to put the book down. I wanted the guys to win and yet time moved at pace and nothing was getting resolved and the wedding was getting closer. Jason the ex and now marrying her best friend was a nasty piece of work, and as it came to light, he had done this several times before and women had died. He had a number of alias’s and by using one of those Mia was able to get him to incriminate himself. All in all an outstanding book.
This was so good. Mia deserved so much more than the loser ex that married her best friend. And Alexander, Marcus, and Tyler saw that. Her ex had secrets that she wasn’t going to hide anymore. So they protected her, then they took her. Oh boy did they. This was spicy and so hot. Loved every minute of this.
Loved this book. Mia comes to her family's lodge for her best friends wedding and meets Tyler, Alexander, and Marcus the brides uncles and things turn upside down. Can all four stop a wedding to a bad man, and will a relationship come together four these four?.

She’s snowed in with her ex and three men that have known her most of her life. They’ve kept their distance because she was so much younger. Now that’s all going to change. It’s time they step in and make her theirs.
