Triplet Tales is the first mass market book aimed at all children aged 0-5 years that has triplets as the subject matter. It is fun, light- hearted and brilliantly illustrated by top cartoonist Brian Platt.
Written in rhyming couplets Triplet Tales humorously shows the reactions of friends and relations to the arrival of a set of triplets.
All young children enjoy books about babies and this book will be loved by singletons, twins and triplets alike. The rhyming text is very good for language development in small children.
The author Hazel Cushion, is the mother of triplets and has an MA in Creative Writing. Brian Platt, the illustrator, is an internationally published cartoonist who works from his studio in Hay-on-Wye.
Hazel Cushion set up Accent Press when her triplets were six years old. She has since won numerous business awards and was invited to Buckingham Palace to meet the Queen in recognition of her contribution to business in Britain. In 2007 she launched Xcite Books, which has grown to become one of the UK’s leading publishers of erotic fiction for women and couples.
She now combines managing her business with writing and motivational speaking.
Triplet Tales is a wonderful book. It tells the story of a family expecting one baby but instead they get three! The illustrations are adorable and the text rhymes. This book would be a great present for children who have or are expecting triplet siblings and for parents expecting siblings. The author has a clever way of acknowledging the extra work that comes with triplets while emphasizing the extra happiness that comes with them too!
