Ms. Jas… honey I am a fan!!!! I enjoyed Maize and Tribal’s story, but this here!!! Chef’s kiss! 🥰
Knight and his brothers have gone through so much in their lives. Although they had Maize to help guide them to adulthood, Knight never had the opportunity to deal with and/or process his feelings about his father’s abandonment. 💔 Understanding that he couldn’t talk to his brothers about it, he used other “tactics” to cope. 😲 Well, I thought that Maize was wilding out with his flail, but when you compare that to a chainsaw, I think Knight got him beat! 🤯
When we met Knight and Jaxon, I wasn’t sure what to think, as Knight was coming on so strong. Although he is very much off his rocker, he did have the best intentions for Jax and was patient with her until he wasn’t. Knight claimed that woman from the time he laid eyes on her and was confident that she would be his.
Jaxon was loyal to a fault. She was a great best friend to Tribal and bent over backwards to care for and provide for her sister Juli. But when did she take time to care for herself? She was attracted to Knight, but she didn’t have time for all that came with a man. However, this man was like no other she had ever met. He slowly, and meticulously wore her down, by showing her that she deserved the best of everything. ❤️
Then the drama ramps up, and I held on tight. That damn Juli is a terror! Instead of dealing with her own issues, she is still blaming others and leaving chaos in her wake! 🤬 Knight’s incident, and that revelation about Jax's past almost broke me! 😢 I was fearful about how they would resolve it, but they promised each other a rare love that they would fight for together. So, I knew it would work out. Then the ish with Miles, Mayor Brown, and learning about Kyra’s connection, had my heart racing! 😮 Nothing could have prepared me for that ending, but it had to be done!
I hope we continue with this family, as we still have some loose ends I would love to explore. Karsyn needs a story, and now Kyra too. Really enjoyed this! 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

Knight came in and said wrap this shit up expeditiously. He knew he wanted Jaxon and he knew that he would protect her from anything and anyone. Even family. He came and he delivered even while battling his own challenges. The banter between the two was so funny.

A little unhinged
Knight was definitely unhinged but he did have different softer sides to him. Jaxson was much like her friend Tribal, kind of stuck in one mindset when they guys were trying to show them different.

Knight and Jax were a match made in crazy heaven 😂. When Juli’s chapter came up I was excited because I knew what was coming but how it came was shocking! Now I’m crossing my fingers that Kreep and Kyra get a story, I’m here for it all.

GOOD BOOK!!!!
This was a great book. It was good from the beginning. I loved this book. The brothers were my favorite. This is definitely a must read.
