*ARC REVIEW* 3.75⭐️ This book was a wild ride of forbidden desire, constant self-sabotage, and destruction. Liana moves to Wilmington for a fresh start, but from beginning to end, it just becomes a toxic playground full of temptations. She doesn't know how to deal with stability and normalcy… trouble is what pulls her in every time.

Things start to get real serious and dangerous yet the red flags were like flashing carnival signs to her and the deeper she got, the harder it was to escape. But you don't dance with the devil and not expect consequences.

I loved the author’s writing and how well it flowed, bringing the story to life. The only thing I would say is I wish I got to see more POVs because the story is long, and after a while I got used to the cycle Liana had going. I was emotionally tired of her 😅 I wanted to be pulled in different directions and get more from the other characters to keep me on my toes.

Age gap, self-sabotage, infidelity, and a sugar baby female protagonist (FMC) are the main elements of this book. Liana, a young woman who grew up alone due to her parents’ absence, takes care of herself. There are two male protagonists (MMCs): Kyle and Will, who are friends and run a business together. Liana first met Kyle on the side of the road when she broke down on her way to her new job and friends. They had a passionate night together, but they went their separate ways the next day. The second MMC is Will, who hires Liana to work at the Tipsy House. Throughout the book, Liana and Will develop a strong friendship. The book ends on a cliffhanger, leaving readers eagerly anticipating the next installment. Slice level 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

WOW! Ok this author can tell a story that keeps you hooked to keep turning the pages.

This story was a roller coaster ride of emotional turmoil and mental illness to some extent. Two twisted souls that didn’t feel they were enough for themselves or others. At times it was frustrating to me that the Liana just couldn’t pull herself together but then the story holds on to you to see what is next.

It is a great story and I recommend it. Warning it leaves you on a cliffhanger.

Liana is trying to get out of her town when her car breaks down. Kyle shows up and they end up having a good time but go there separate ways. However, Will comes into play. Definitely spicey! There is an age gap as well! A good book and definitely worth the read! I will warn you: it does end on a cliff hanger!
