I was a bit disappointed with this one. I’ve read all of this author’s omegaverse stories and have enjoyed aspects of all of them. This was one that I saw so much potential for and it fell a little flat. We didn’t really get to see the connections being made or fighting feelings. Even the healing moments didn’t resonate with me. I also hated how often holes was used and the waxing scene. I know it was trying to show her being taken care of, but to me it just seemed like she was shamed for something natural and forced into pain even though she was already in pain. Her entire heat didn’t give that devoted we’ll take care of you vibe. I just wanted more from this story especially since I loved both of her sisters’ stories. Francine deserved some more fleshing out, tension, passion, and deep connecting love. Not all of her stories have been my favorite though so we’ll see what I think of her next one in May.

Usually I'm a sucker for a nanny (or general employee) and her billionaire employers romance but this one just did not hit for me. I felt like every character was so generic and no one ever just had a proper conversation with one another, which meant it felt like there was ZERO chemistry. Even the brothers of the Pack felt like they didn't know or want to interact with one another. Also trying to sell the fire her mother started took both sets of parents had me rolling my eyes (like the child is 8 that means Francine was in her 20's so could have done with some cop on). Then some of the phrasing during the spicy scenes just had me cringing. Overall the story just felt so jumpy and like it never got past a surface layer.

This was a very vanilla book, considering that it's a reverse harem story. Everything was so bland. The plot was bland, the characters were bland, the black moment was bland. Heck, even the sex was bland.
There just was nothing to this story. It was a stamping out of another RH story in Layla Sparks's omegaverse but there is absolutely no passion behind the storytelling. I never felt like we really got to know any of the characters and there was next to nothing going on plotwise, aside from the sex. It was the equivalent of eating cotton candy. It doesn't satisfy your hunger and leaves you wondering why you bothered. It really felt like a novella rather than a full-length book. That's how little is actually going on.
But, if all you want is a reverse harem story with knotting involved, the sex scenes are good enough to be going on with. And I didn't find anything actually offensive about it, which is more than I can say for some of this author's work. So, 3 stars.

Like absolutely not
The writing is not very good, feels very juvenile. In fact I mainly skimmed this book, that’s the only way I was able to finish it.
There was a very weird atmosphere around her being a ‘virgin’. Their obsession with it was actually very unsettling.
There was also the incredibly creepy behaviour by one of the alpha’s. He meets her at the supermarket, follows her home then he breaks into her apartment and gets into bed with her. She wakes up, freaks out and kicks him out and that’s basically the end of that. Very little discussion afterwards, he makes her hide it from his brothers so that she’s not fired. WTF!!!!
It felt like the author wanted to incorporate the ‘dark romance’ trope of ‘stalkery’ romance but she did it without the follow through in the characters behaviour
The sex scenes… well I had to skip over those. This didn’t protect me from them basically having sex with her while she was asleep without prior discussion and also one of them randomly deciding to wax her intimate region on a whim in the middle of her heat. At some point during the wax she says it hurts and she’s done but he carries on.
The fire thing was a twist I saw coming from so far away and it kinda felt unnecessary. The only point it served was the third act conflict. Her mum killing his parents while she was killing the MC’s dads felt like such a big blow to the already fragile relationship. Like logically she had nothing to do with it but emotionally it’s tough to come back from that. I saw it coming from the beginning but still hoped the author wouldn’t follow through.
They kept mentioning their wolves and the talked about pups but beyond that I couldn’t tell if they were actually wolf shifters or not as they never shifted or had any major ‘wolfy’ attributes.
There is also the fact that the head alpha was terrible. He’s entire pack was into her and wanted to claim her but he kept pushing back until they literally threatened to leave. This is a common trope that I have no problem with except there was no reason for his behaviour. No past trauma or anything that gave credence to his vehement objection. This is also proven when he gives in for no discernible reason. This is another thing that feels like the author wanted to use a dark romance trope but there’s no follow through which makes it fall flat and makes the character unlikeable without an avenue for redemption.

I’ve literally read better books on wattpad than this. I really struggled to even finish this book idk why I even did tbh. Every second I hoped that maybe it would start to get better and then it just kept getting worse.
First of all there’s absolutely NO substance. There are literally no side characters other than the sisters and we see them like twice. You’re telling me you snagged the most wanted alphas in the city and NO ONE has anything to say? There’s no conflict about that? We barely get to actually know any of the characters, certainly not enough to love them. Also the whole point was for her to be a nanny but I swear we saw maybe 3 interactions with the kid. Then she’s there for not even 24 hours and they’re already all over each other?? No build up AT ALL, just insta-love cringe fest. One of them even says I love you after like 3 days!!! They haven’t even had a proper conversation, and they don’t for the WHOLE DAMN BOOK!! And then the “conflict” that eventually happens was predictable asf, the whole time he’s asking her why she has the clippings she’s just stammering around saying it’s not what it looks like but then NOT SAYING WHY SHE HAS THEM. literally all she had to say was that her dads died in the fire. The only semi-interesting part was her getting in the car accident but even then I feel like we hardly get to see any of them actually taking care of her. Just small glimpses.
Now let’s talk about the s*x. It was the worst, most cringey, poorly written parts of the whole book. The wording was horrific I actually struggled to get through the scenes. The horrible cringey shit that a man would literally never say. And the WAX SCENE??? WTF EVEN WAS THAT. even showing her the wax strip after he ripped it off so she could see!!! WHAT. I’ve also read A LOT of omegaverse and this was terrible even for that. Apart from taking a knot and perfuming there’s literally no other “omega” traits. She never properly makes a nest, you don’t get to see her looking for comfy blankets and stealing things that smell like them, even her “heat” was half assed, again hardly any actual omega traits, she’s perfectly normal through the whole thing, not like an omega in heat, and then she literally stops them from marking her but tells him to PUT A BABY IN HER??? she’s like oh idk about a mark because that’s so sudden and permanent and I barely know them but in the same breath says she wants them to get her pregnant!!! and Kieran being obsessed with her ass the whole time was weird. They were also way too weird about her being a virgin. Like obsessed.
There’s also weird plot holes, if she’s almost 30, and the little girl is only 8 then Francine would have literally been in her 20s when her mom killed her dads, but they made it seem like that happened when she was a little girl? Sweet heavens, the beginning of this book was so satisfying with the sexual tension going through the roof. I love how there’s no denying that primal base instinct, especially when it’s a scent match it’s only a matter of time before the couple jumps each others bones.
Exhibit A:
“This is different. This is primal.
I want to tear her clothes off with my teeth. I want to push her face-down into the mattress and mount her from behind, the way wolves do. I want to knot her, fill her with my seed, watch her belly swell with my pups. I want to mark every inch of her skin with my scent, my teeth, so that no other alpha besides my pack would dare come near her.
The growl builds in my chest before I can stop it, low and threatening, rumbling up through my throat until it fills the quiet room.
Francine freezes instantly, her body going rigid. Slowly, she straightens and turns to look over her shoulder, her movements cautious, like prey that’s suddenly sensed a predator. Her eyes meet mine instantly, and I see the moment fear flickers across them. But she takes a long inhale.
She can smell me, too. She can sense my desire for her radiating from me in waves.”
Which is like woooo someone put out the fire!
The only cons was that the whole moms a murder side quest was a little unnecessary, like she can just be a nanny they fall in love with that’s that’s the plot. Not to mention the alphas obsession with her virginity and naiveness was a bit icky. Like every other chapter was a comment on it, not to mention one of the alphas waxing her?? During her heart?? Super uncomfortable to read because having sexual experience and hair on your body is symbols of adulthood. While the opposite tends to be associated with younger women but the main character is 26 with 30+ year old men, they should be able to handle some hair and be okay having a woman who isn’t a virgin if she wasn’t yk??
As for the sex, definitely a breeding kink going on here…..

You definitely read this book for the smut not the plot, she didn’t even know anything about them and them anything about her before they had sex and declared her theirs, so there’s that. Don’t go looking for anything deep but some good ole omegaverse porn tbh. After they mated I dropped the novel tbh, so I can only give it 3 stars but I still really enjoyed the read.

There's something oddly comforting about Layla Sparks' writing, and I don't think it has anything to do with originality.
If you're looking for a deeply layered plot, intense emotional chemistry, or characters that constantly surprise you, this probably isn't going to be your next obsession. The Nanny and Her Alphas leans heavily into familiar omegaverse tropes—possessive billionaire alphas, a fated pack, forced proximity, rejection, groveling, plenty of spice—and it doesn't pretend to be much else.
Normally, that's exactly the kind of formula that loses me.
But somehow...it worked.
This is the literary equivalent of comfort food. It isn't asking you to unravel complicated mysteries or dissect intricate character motivations. Instead, it wraps you in a familiar world, delivers the darker end of romance and spice you came for, and lets you simply enjoy the ride. Sometimes that's exactly the kind of book you need.

I’ve absolutely loved the other Omegaverse books by Layla, so I went into this one really excited and expecting to feel the same kind of connection I usually do with her stories. Her previous books have always had that perfect mix of strong world-building, emotional relationship development, and chemistry that makes the bonds feel real and earned. Because of that, my expectations for this one were pretty high.
Unfortunately, this one just felt… a little bleh to me. It wasn’t bad, but it didn’t have the same spark that I’m used to from her writing. The plot didn’t pull me in the way her stories normally do, and I kept waiting for that moment where everything clicks and I get completely hooked—but it never really happened.
One of the biggest things I missed was the relationship building. In her other Omegaverse books, I love how the connections between the characters develop over time. You get to see the trust grow, the tension build, and the emotional bonds form in a way that makes the payoff feel worth it. In this book, that part felt rushed or almost skipped over. The relationships didn’t have the same depth, and because of that, the emotional impact just wasn’t there for me.
At times, the story felt a bit forced, like it was moving from one point to the next without the usual care and buildup. I hate saying this, because I really do enjoy this author, but this one almost felt like it was written just to meet a deadline rather than because the story needed to be told. It didn’t have that same heart that I’ve come to expect from her books.
I’m still a fan of Layla and I’ll definitely read more from her, but this one just didn’t hit the same way the others have for me

A great omegaverse RH romance!
I liked this spicy, hot RH story so much! Great, flowing plot that I devoured and five MCs, with distinct personality traits that will steal your heart! Francine is an omega. She is unmated and lives alone, since her sisters are mated, after her mother’s funeral. A mother that confessed a devastating, dark secret in her deathbed and turned Francine’s world upside down. She is offered a job as a nanny for the 8-year-old sister of the most prestigious and wealthy Alpha pack – the Silverwoods. Kieran is the leader, along with his brothers Drake, Rowan and Elias. Each unique, devastatingly handsome with their own strong personalities who complement each other. A pack without an omega – because of Kieran’s fears and trauma. When Francine comes into the picture, everything changes. Drake was the one who had met her before – and felt the mate bond drawn. Kieran futilely attempts to resist, his brothers don’t. But when things seem to work among them all, a devastating revelation about all of their pasts will threaten their newly form connection. Will they manage to get over it and find happiness? I couldn’t put the book down! 4 stars.

She is unmated and lives alone, since her sisters are mated, after her mother’s funeral. A mother that confessed a devastating, dark secret in her deathbed and turned Francine’s world upside down. She is offered a job as a nanny for the 8-year-old sister of the most prestigious and wealthy Alpha pack – the Silverwoods. Kieran is the leader, along with his brothers Drake, Rowan and Elias. Each unique, devastatingly handsome with their own strong personalities who complement each other. A pack without an omega – because of Kieran’s fears and trauma. When Francine comes into the picture, everything changes. Drake was the one who had met her before – and felt the mate bond drawn. Kieran futilely attempts to resist, his brothers don’t. inner wolves?
There’s a lot of talk about inner wolves in this book, and Nora seemed to be really obsessed with wolves…the guys and their sister were from the same parents… so their parents were shifters?
One of them was a described as features sharpening during an intimate moment… But none of the guys ever shifted?
Why even put that information in the book if it’s not even part of the actual story? It just ruins the continuity.
I was slightly disappointed by the micro aggressions from the men, and how Kieran didn’t seem to be a big fan of consent towards the end, especially when she told him she wanted him elsewhere and he laughed and said I’m gonna take your @$$. Overall, most of their interactions with Francine felt very superficial and fvckboi/creepy (especially with drake).
The other two brothers barely got any backstory aside from being related. Bummer.
Overall, there was just a lot missing from this book, in my opinion.
If you like smut where the words are repetitive and slightly cringy, especially during intimate scenes, there’s not much backstory, and the men are slightly disrespectful on a consistent basis, this book might be for you!

I wanted to like this one more than I did. The setup is so good. Francine walking into a house with four alpha brothers who clearly want her but also have all this tension and rules? I was ready for it!
But it just felt kind of flat. The connections between Francine and Kieran, Rowan, Drake, and Elias didn’t hit as hard as I expected. It all moved really fast without giving me that emotional build up. I wanted more tension, more depth, more moments where you actually feel them falling for her. It just didn't have the wow factor.

Red flags...
So I went into this and really enjoyed it, then it got to about 60/70% and it got a bit icky for me. Could be personal preference so don't go not reading it because I didn't like these things.
Rowan became a bit of a red flag for me the whole 'you have to be bare for us' waxing scene felt a little too much. No one else mentioned it being an issue nor was it mentioned she was hairy in BOTH places, back and front, until this moment. Made it seem like a huge issue, like she had some bushy beard down there. Just... ick.
My other ick is slick coming from the booty hole. I get it, when in a relationship with multiple men, instant lubricant from said hole would be handy but it just gave me the ick as I couldn't think of anything worse than being slick there.
I'm not saying this is a bad book, hence the 4 stars, but just some small parts weren't for me. I wish there were more interactions with them all and people outside of the pack though, more of their lives outside the house.

This book was really good! It had a good story overall and if I could I would have given it a 3.5/5 stars. This had the potential to be a 5 star read but it almost feels like a solid draft. The concept is there and I was really hooked in the beginning but I almost DNF'd at the end because the writing (especially during the spicy scenes) almost seemed juvenile. I think a solid edit and some more confident writing would definitely make this book a 5 star read.
I really liked the actual story, but there were some parts that gave me the ick as well. There were some places where the FMC would say no or set a boundary and one of the MMCs would either guilt her into doing the thing or they would just blatantly disregard the boundary set. I think they could have worked up to it or talked it out a bit more, or the author could entirely omit those parts and the story would be unaffected. Those parts gave the vibe of a HS boyfriend who would not take no for an answer - ick.
Other than that, I really liked the story and it kept me in my seat to where I finished it in less than 24 hours :)

This was such a fun, fast-paced omegaverse standalone. It's a quick, easy read, so it was more on the lighthearted cheesy insta side instead of the ultra deep and heavy characters and plot. I thought it was cute and swoony still with just enough emotion and tension to keep things interesting. The spice and dirty talking along with the knotting and all the other omegaverseisms were scortching hot. I mean, four sexy horny billionare alpha brothers and a beautiful virgin omega nanny that's also their perfect fated scent match they want to claim and make her their queen. What is not to love?

First of all, I love Nora. She's the cutest kid. So smart and hilarious. She easily accepted Francine into her home as her nanny.
Drake was the first to set eyes on this Omega and he never faltered in his feelings. Love him for that.
Elias and Rowan are both interesting brothers who knew their mate as soon as they scented her.
Kieran.... ohh my troublesome pack alpha. Always with the reservations and putting his foot in his mouth. He royally messes things up. But the groveling is plentiful and consistent and so meaningful. He truly earned his forgiveness.
Franny deserves all the good things the world and this pack has to offer. I'm so happy with the HEA.

Super good definitely there's a lot more to the plot
This definitely hits really hard just because of the simple fact that she had this huge burden this huge secret and then she realizes that it affected the people that she's starting to love and the main Alpha in this book I really think he has the weight of the world on his shoulders and I feel like he just exploded and it was towards her and I just don't think that either one of them could handle their emotions the right way I do think though that's a passion ignite between all of the characters and even the other alphas in the pack and it definitely is a good story it just had its moments of like you felt their pain a lot because of the secrets that were held and it all boil down to one person's selfishness that caused them to have that pain.

If you're looking for spice and Omegaverse this is it. I think at 5% in it got right to and it and I'm not mad about it.
I only gave 2 stars bc at some points it felt like a man had written this book and even though I like a few other Layla Sparks books there were some cringe moments. i.e. the waxing scene, I felt that was unnecessary... and the scene to her waking up with them playing with her without her knowledge or consent.
The overall storyline was ok. It was too quick. Felt like it all happened in a few days.
I'm sure I'll read another Layla book but this one was mostly pure spice and not a lot else .

Francine' mother just died and she wants a better apartment that does not remind her of her mother. Her sister Carmen owns Little Paws and she is being sent out to be a nanny to a rich family. She is hoping this will help her sort her feelings out. She is going to be around Alphas so she has to get her Omega desentizers for the live in time with this job. She meets Drake at the grocery store by accident. So what could happen when she moves in? Such a great read.

A little disappointed by this one. After reading the other standalone book in this series, I had high hopes. Unfortunately it just fell flat.
The connection between Francine and the 4 alpha brothers just felt surface level when compared to the connections in the other stories within the “Knotted and Claimed” series, and others in the Omegaverse written by Layla Sparks.
Do yourself a favour and skip this one honestly. Unless you just want to read for the sex and knotting, then go right ahead - this is for you.

This book got me out of a reading slump, and was a quick and easy read. I heard about it on TikTok, and glad I tried it out.
The pacing was good, I have not set it down since picking it up. The characters were fun, and the drama was certainly... drama-ing.
I kind of wish we got to see more of the FMC nanny-ing, you know? The short snippets of it were cute, and I was hoping this book would center around that aspect, rather than just the romance.
Four star: Would read again, but only after some time has passed. May check out author's other works.
