This series just keeps getting better and better. This book was a ton of fun. Gideon is an Alpha wolf who just wants to have fun. Ryder is out to make it on her own. Neither counted on the other or any help from Eros and Chloe. It was such fun watching them find each other. I guess they learned that love finds you when you least expect it.

I completely enjoyed this story and I look forward to many more. You have the gods Eros, the God of love and desire, and Chloe(Chlotho),the of birth, have a year long bet , filled with match making and passion. Ryder Sparks, the only daughter with 2older brothers (Cameron and Nathan), 1 younger brother (Jonathan). Mom(Julie) and Dad(Drake) own Sparks Sporting and Outdoors store. Ryder is going on her first solo hike in Grand Canon, Five days she plans to do in four. And you know it will not go as planed, she will get to her first camp and sleep. It will be the morning when she goes to the river to fill her water so she can pack and take off that things will start getting off her well planned hike. Now as there has must be a hero , Alpha Gideon Deckard will cover that part wonderfully, He is off to roam the Grand Canyon , before hiking season opens,he thinks. Now these two are the ones the God Eros has challenged the god Chloe to get them to fall in love in 2 weeks instead of the 4 she normally has because they will not get to the same area till then. And they are true mates, He knows it but does not know how to tell her , and keep her from running away if she ever comes to. Though he needs to give the young woman some credit, she figures things ( All Of It) out for herself,even with a splitting headache,swollen foot and a small amount of time she was knocked out. She also faced that she had to end her trip, due to injury. She thinks he can take her home, He thinks ,she is my mate, I am taking her home...Mine no ours. Now can he get her to agree that his home is our home? How will his clan react? How can he keep the other male wolves away from his unclaimed mate? But how can he handle this little spitfire mate? Who is used to dealing with her three over protective brothers and father, at least her mother understands( more then she does it seems). Then if he can manage all this , he will have to tell her family he is keeping her, if she agrees.

Gideon is the third in the Mystic Zodiac series. It is a standalone book that introduces the wager that Cupid and Chloe, one of the Fates, is having over getting couples together. This challenge is getting nature loving and outdoorsy Ryder together with Gideon.
Only it’s not really good outdoors weather and there is a very short window to get them together, just days. It’s a good thing that Gideon is a wolf shifter who needs to find some alone time in the woods. Oh, and a little teensy bit convenient that Ryder has won an early hiking pass. Almost like it was fated.
Gideon is surprised by Ryder even if he doesn’t want a mate yet. Gideon catches Ryder off guard and she has an accident. It’s this accident that forces Gideon to take care of Ryder and make sure that she goes home with him. Ryder may not understand the whole mating thing, but she knows that if it’s meant to be then it should be. She’s not as frightened by the whole mate process as Gideon would expect. She’s actually rather sweet about it.
As Gideon and Ryder are trying to work out the mating process, there is always family to work around. It was good to see everyone come together and work it out. I really liked Ryder, finding her warm and nice. Gideon was as hot sexy alpha as one could want. I enjoyed the wager and the interplay between Cupid and Chloe. Their wager could get very interesting as they get towards the end of the 12 months.

What a thoroughly enjoyable read! A bet between Eros and Chloe jumpstarts the meeting between Gideon and Ryder. Not having read the first two, I must say the chemistry between Eros and Chloe was as hot as that between Gideon and Ryder. I look forward to reading more about those two deities. Gideon, Alpha of the Keystone Predator pack, goes running wolf through the Grand Canyon before the hiking season starts, coming off of a relationship breakup. Meanwhile Ryder, who works for her family's sporting goods store, is thankful she got her permit to hike in the Grand Canyon and plans to go by herself. Having three protective older brothers has been somewhat stifling for her. After making the journey to get her permit from a couple of very strange rangers, Ryder can barely hold back her excitement. Always fascinated by wolves, when Ryder sees one she attempts to get a closer look, which starts a chain of events leading her to be mate-claimed by Gideon. However, don't think for a minute Gideon is going to have everything his way, she's had a lifetime of dealing with men. Gideon is a hot, easy read. Although short, it's well-written and flows nicely over the pages. I enjoyed reading this tale and will have to go back and pick up the first two in the series, as they sound just as entertaining. (I was gifted an ARC for independent review)

Shifter love is just what we need!
Book 3 in the Zodiac Series was just as entertaining as the first two. While the story is a series, each book can be read individually.
Eros and Chloe started the story out with an intro onto who the newest pairing would be. The continuous banter between the two is entertaining. The two are fighting their feelings toward each other and it makes every meeting between them very tension filled.
Ryder Sparks goes on a 4 day hiking trip, alone, with all the excitement in the world. Her family is very hesitant on letting her go alone, but she wants to prove her independence. While she is about to start her second day, she runs into Gideon Deckard. This encounter is not what he was looking for, but it sparked an attraction that neither could deny.
Gideon was the Alpha of his Pack and had just broke up with a girlfriend. He wasn't looking for anyone new, but the attraction to Ryder was something he couldn't deny.
I enjoyed the story of Ryder and Gideon. The sweetness of her story. There are some twists to the story and once the families get together there is more fun added to the story.
I love this series and can't wait for the next Mystic to come out, or for the Eros or Chloe to come to their final showdown.

If you love books about shifters and finding their mates you will love this book.

This is book 3 you don’t have to read in sequence as I have done but it will help with the prolog. There is some major sexual tension between the gods I can’t wait to see how that plays out hehe.
After convincing her family that she would be ok going on a solo hike for four days Ryder leaves on her adventure. She is at peace and feeling tranquil when she stops for the night.
Then her life changes in the blink of an eye. She finds her mate. She learns new things and surprises Gideon at every turn.
They learn that she has shifer blood in her family and it makes things easier for her. This is a well thought out book and I loved every minute of it.
I cant wait to see what Eros and Chloe are up to next……

ARC given to read for an honest review.
Part of the zodiac series- a 12 month bet made on Mount Olympus between fate and the god of love and desire, this was a really great read about a sweet romance between characters Gideon a wolf shifter and Ryder, even if Gideon didn't want to find love he wasn't turning away from his fated mate. Ryder’s character is the one I really loved, she jumps in with both feet and willing to trust that crazy feeling called love. I enjoyed this read because of the characters back and forth banter and let’s not overlook the hot moments spent intimately. This is a great feel good series and you do get a HEA after each story but the plot between Chloe and Eros (the crazy gods and goddesses of Mount Olympus who started this whole series) makes you want to read the next month’s book, like now. Eros is such a dirty thinker I can’t wait to see what he does next.

Ryder is looking forward to getting away from her overprotective family and into the wilderness around the Grand Canyon for a few days hiking. Being the only girl can be stifling at times, and she so loves the outdoors.
Gideon is the pack Alpha and has just dumped the she wolf who was pestering him to take her as his mate. He needs to run as a wolf for a while to clear his head.Their first meeting is memorable for us readers ,even if it was a bit embarrassing to Ryder. Things might have happened a bit easily but fate was on a timetable.
This is a real fun read. All the characters are strong and sexy.
I will be reading the rest of the series. I want to see what will happen to the others.

This is the first book I have read by Brandy Walker and let me tell you this, she has a wonderful sense of humor that is apparent in her characters especially Ryder. I lost count how many times I snorted at the conversations Ryder and Gideon would have. A world in which shifters are known to exist and humans may be mate material. Ryder obviously is with her calm response to Gideon. Now she needs to convince him that not only can she accept his shifter side and being his mate, she can embrace being a shifter too. Ms. Walker takes us into her world and what a fun time is going to be had.

I really enjoyed this book. It wasn't the typical shifter finding his mate. You have two gods Chloe and Eros seeing if Chloe can make love matches with those who Eros gives her each month called the mystics. I loved the reaction of when Ryder finds out Gideon is a wolf shifter. I love the interaction between the two families. There is a lot of heat between Gideon and Ryder. It was a fascinating journey watching Gideon who didn't want to find his mate meet his match in Ryder.

I haven't read the others in this series and was very amazed at how easy this was to follow. I love the characters and how everything goes down. The feelings and the obstacles that happened. This author is amazing and made me want to finish reading as soon as possible. I am very glad the author sent this to me for an honest opinion and my opinion is I will be letting my friends know about this and that they need to read it.

I most say I truly enjoyed reading about Gideon a wolf shifter and Ryder his human mate. And they meet in the woods,where she was on a 5day hike by herself for the first time. And Gideon was letting his wolf run free. Ryder see's this beautiful wolf drinking at the same stream that she's filling her water bottles.So she try's to get closer to the wolf that is Gideon for a better look but then something happens to her as she moves closer. A most read!

I think I'm on team Eros (don't tell Chlotho). As for Gideon and Ryder they are adorable and I love Ryder's reaction to Gideon and what his life is all about. Kinda bummed Ryder didn't get further into her hike but if she had to be interrupted this was the best way to go. Good story, can't wait for next month!

Well when gods get bored and want to play they do. Lucky for Gideon and Ryder it works for them. It would be nice if a book was done on all the siblings finding their mates to and seeing what happens with Ryder and Gideon as well.

Running wild is all Gideon Deckard has planned. Ryder Sparks is on a week’s dream vacation. A run in with a massive grey wolf changes all their plans in this delightful paranormal romance.
Gideon is the Alpha of the Keystone Predator Pack and all he wants is a little time to be his wolf. Ryder wants a little time away from her overprotective family. The reader can’t help but be charmed by the strong compelling characters as fate steps in and sets them on their journey to happily ever after. The chemistry between Ryder and Gideon burns hot and the sex scenes are sizzling and sparks fly in every direction as Ryder is a spitfire that is going to speak her mind which provides some fun and snarky dialogue and the fast paced and smooth flowing plot keeps readers on their toes with lots of suspense and passion.
Expectation builds throughout the well written scenes and details that paint vivid images and capture the imagination as Ryder and Gideon work out just whether she will be his mate especially as there is a small question of who actually wants it more. Eros and Cleo’s meddling adds spice to the story and the well orchestrated events ensure that the reader has to know what happens next.

Gideon and Ryder are the third couple to be matched in Brandy Walker’s Mystic Zodiac Series. I loved this match. I have really enjoyed this series but this couple is my favorite to date. Gideon and Ryder are a perfect mix and balance to each other’s strengths, their chemistry and attraction is instant and hot. Gideon is the alpha shifter, not looking for love or a mate till he catches the scent of Ryder then his world tips. She is feisty and not afraid to be herself. It is a quick but good read and can easily be read as a standalone story but I also love the ongoing game and building attraction between Eros and Chloe. Can’t wait to see what is planned for next month.

I thoroughly enjoyed this story!
Combining gods, goddesses, humans, and shifters all in one intrigued me so I thought I would check it out. I was not disappointed!
The basic layout is Cupid and the goddess of fate are meddling and helping to create true love matches. This is a series but each book focuses one one couple so you get a HEA. This book was about Gideon an alpha wolf shifter and Ryder an outdoors loving human. They meet unexpectedly and awkwardly in the Grand Canyon and the sparks fly.
The sex scenes are hot and the pace of the story is quick and steady but doesn't seem rushed. The secondary characters are fun and enrich the story.
I had not read any of this series before but I am headed to buy the rest now!
If you like your shifters hot, your heroines spunky and a HEA leaves you wanting more then this is for you!

The basic layout is Cupid and the goddess of fate are meddling and helping to create true love matches. This is a series but each book focuses one one couple so you get a HEA. This book was about Gideon an alpha wolf shifter and Ryder an outdoors loving human. They meet unexpectedly and awkwardly in the Grand Canyon and the sparks fly.
The sex scenes are hot and the pace of the story is quick and steady but doesn't seem rushed. The secondary characters are fun and enrich the story.
I had not read any of this series before but I am headed to buy the rest now!
If you like your shifters hot, your heroines spunky and a HEA leaves you wanting more then this is for you!
