Mistberry Cove #2

The Knotty Problem with Alphas

Rate this book
The internet already hates me. So naturally, I find myself fake-dating its three favorite Alphas.

I’m a chef. A cookbook author. An Omega who should know better than to panic during an interview and blurt out something that wrecks my career.

One wrong sentence on live TV ruins everything.

Now my sales are falling, my publisher is losing faith, and every time my name pops up online, my chest tightens. I’m not built for cameras or crowds. Which is exactly why I don’t want to attend my friend’s wedding.

Especially when my ex-fiancé is the best man.

I only need one fake date to survive the night. Instead, I somehow end up with three gorgeous Alpha food bloggers who are wildly famous online and far too willing to play along.

They look flawless on camera, but up close, their smiles hide secrets, old wounds, and a hunger that feels far too real.

Then one wedding photo goes viral.

Suddenly, everyone wants to know why the disgraced chef-turned-author is wrapped up with the hottest Alpha pack online.

With my career dying, I can’t help wondering if pretending to date them could fix my image.

Except the more they touch me, tease me, and defend me, the less fake this feels.

But if I let this pack in, they might finally see the truth.

And decide I’m too damaged to keep.

The Knotty Problem With Alphas is a standalone RH Cozy Omegaverse romance that blends viral scandal, fake dating, late heat, and sharp humor with simmering fire, and three dangerously tempting Alphas who refuse to let one socially anxious Omega hide forever. Perfect for readers who crave fake pack tension, possessive heroes, messy media drama, and a guarded heroine learning she might be wanted exactly as she is.

This is a Mistberry Cove Novel.

We are back in Mistberry Cove with Claire this time. Claire is this sweet and caring young lady that instantly pulls you in as you see her going through a rough patch and still stands strong. We soon meet Brody, Corey, and Jakob. All three jump in and help her with an issue without any hesitation. They have these hearts of gold that you instantly love about them. I recently found Harley Knight and loved her writing from the first book of hers that I read. Her writing pulls you in and keeps you glued to your seat as you always have to know what happens. This one is no different. I loved the interactions between the characters and the chemistry between them is felt throughout the story. The story has a beautiful flow to it that is felt as you read it. There is action, drama and a tiny bit of suspense. These elements only add to the story. I love how the story ends. It is a fabulous story that doesn’t disappoint.

Claire, Brody, Jakob, and Corey were amazing in this. Absolutely adored the guys the way the guys rallied around her when things went to shit. Claire’s career went down the toilet when she said one wrong thing on the air. Embarrassed and trying to recover, she’s doing the best she can. And she doesn’t like being in front of the cameras. And that’s exactly what’s going to be at the wedding that she’s supposed to attend. A date, or three, and there she stands with the incredibly hot men. And things aren’t like so fake anymore.
I loved her being such a sweet omens, and these three wonderful alphas were the absolute best. This was sweet and steamy, had me invested and then some. Absolutely loved this story.

Another fantastic addition to Harley Knight's sweet reverse harem Omegaverse series, and I had such a blast reading it. Every time I come back to Mistberry Cove, it just feels like coming home, and this book reminded me why I love this series so much.

First of all... can we talk about Damien? Because Brody's cat completely stole the show. Every single time he appeared, I knew I was going to smile. That cat has so much attitude and personality that he honestly feels like another member of the pack, and I loved every scene he was in.

I also adored Claire's relationships with Brody, Corey, and Jakob. One thing Harley Knight does so well is making each Alpha feel like an actual individual instead of blending together. Brody is the sweetest cinnamon roll with a talent for cooking and a smile (and those cheekbones!) that could charm just about anyone. Corey is basically a walking ray of sunshine and had me grinning every time he was on the page. And Jakob? I loved how he balanced his passion for rugby with taking care of the business side of the pack, all while being fiercely protective of Claire. They each brought something different to the relationship, and together they just worked.

Claire herself had such a satisfying character arc. Watching her slowly find her confidence, stop letting online trolls dictate how she saw herself, and finally break free from the weight of her past made me so happy. She isn't perfect, but that's exactly why I enjoyed following her journey so much.

Although... Claire, girl... your contacts are literally burning your eyes! Just wear your glasses! 😂 I was laughing every time she insisted on keeping those contacts in. But, to be fair, if she'd taken them out right away, we probably wouldn't have gotten such a fun first meeting with Corey, so I'll forgive it.

The wedding preparations were so much fun, and the wedding itself had me laughing out loud more than once. The humor was perfectly sprinkled throughout the story and balanced the heavier moments really well. Even when things got emotional or a little angsty, the book never lost the warmth and cozy feeling that makes this series so addictive.

Now I'm just sitting here hoping Harley Knight gives Trudy, Eli, and Maggie their own happily-ever-afters because I am absolutely invested in all three of them. I need their stories!

Overall, this was such a fun, heartwarming, and feel-good read. I laughed, smiled, swooned, and had an amazing time from beginning to end. I already can't wait to head back to Mistberry Cove and see where the series goes next.

Ahhhh, and here we are back to my favorite universe! I was so anticipating this book since I heard about it, and it did not disappoint! I’ve read a few of these tropes with the main female character needing a fake date to a wedding as her ex-significant other is somehow involved in the event. There have only been two I’ve read that are really just done perfectly, and this is one of them! I also love how it wasn’t totally centered on just that, and there was more story, including the prologue and details like the interview and her ex. Now, we're introduced to Brody, Corey, and Jakob. I love, love, love them. They each brought a unique aspect to their relationships, and they all fit so well together. Honestly, I didn’t see the plot twists coming with her ex and how far he would go because it wasn’t depicted like that in the beginning, so you don’t even really see it happening. But it’s done so well!

I’ve said this previously, and I’ll keep saying it: I am so picky with the books I read; there has to be substance, there has to be a plot, and good character relationships. This hits and checks ALL the boxes!! This book was so good, I’m being completely real when I say I finished it in less than 24 hours. No. Joke. I could not put it down; it had me giggling, kicking my feet, and feeling all the emotions. Harley does it every time without fail! I cannot praise her writing and style enough. The only thing I can say, and I say this about quite a few books, to be real, I wish the bonus chapters were just a bit farther into the future, so we’re able to see what’s happened and how far they’ve come since the end of their story. It’s such a menial part of the book; though, while I enjoy them, they don’t make or break the story for me! Honestly, I can’t recommend this book and author enough; coming from a picky reader, give it a chance, check it out, it’s worth it!

The Knotty Problem with Alphas is another fantastic addition to Harley Knight's sweet reverse harem Omegaverse romance series, Mistberry Cove. Before diving in, I'd recommend checking the content warnings, as the story includes emotional and verbal abuse, an obsessive ex, and online harassment that may be triggering for some readers.

I thoroughly enjoyed following Claire's journey as she finds her pack while learning to stand up for herself, navigate relentless online hate, and finally break free from the shadow of an unhealthy past. Her growth throughout the story was satisfying to watch, and I found myself rooting for her every step of the way.

The romance was filled with plenty of heartwarming moments between Claire, Brody, Corey, and Jakob. I especially loved that each Alpha had such a distinct personality. Brody is the warmhearted cook whose smile (and cheekbones!) could charm just about anyone. Corey brings humor, positivity, and an infectious energy, while Jakob balances his rugby passion with running the business side of the pack and fiercely protecting Claire when it matters most. Their different strengths made the relationships feel well rounded and genuine.

One of my absolute favorite characters, though, was Brody's cat, Damien. He completely stole every scene he was in! As someone who's allergic to cats, I never thought I'd be wishing for one of my own but Damien might have changed my mind. He has so much personality that he practically becomes a member of the pack himself.

The wedding preparations and the wedding itself had me laughing out loud with several perfectly timed comedic moments that balanced the heavier themes beautifully. While there is plenty of drama and a touch of angst, the story never loses its warmth or heart.

I'm already hoping that Trudy, Eli, and Maggie get their own well deserved happy endings in future books. I can't wait to return to Mistberry Cove and see where the series goes next!

Well this was sweet and savory!
So excited to be back in Mistberry Cove! I love a fake dating trope and this did not disappoint! Claire is such a sweet omega who is put through the wringer. Her horrible ex fiancé leaves her the morning of her live TV interview promoting her new cookbook. She ends up misspeaking due to her anxiety and being upset, which leads to an internet fire storm. She wants to just hide away in her home. Brody and his 6pack moves in next door and Claire can’t help but be a voyeur as his films his food blogs shirtless with his side kick Damien (the fluffy feline) Bring not one but 3 sexy alphas as her date to the wedding to make her ex jealous was next level and I was here for it! The Alphas were immediately obsessed with her and want it to be real. Claire, bless her she has been through so much and doesn’t believe good things can happen to her. Her ex Louis is horrible to her and does very shady things through the story.
This is a cozy read but there is plenty of drama (past comes back to almost bite them) and suspense towards the end and I really enjoyed it! The chemistry between her and the alphas was sweet and spicy! Plenty of fun spice (DVP) 🥵🔥 These alphas are so caring and protective of her! I would have like to see them in a bonding scene just because that’s one of my fav parts in an OV but the ending was still super sweet! If you enjoy cozy and spicy Omegaverse reads with alphas who will stand up for their omega, do almost everything shirtless, and an omega who just wants to share her love for cooking her grandmas recipes then you’ll enjoy this book!

Thank you to Harley Knight for the advance reader copy of The Knotty Problem with Alphas in exchange for an honest review! All opinions my own.

This was a funny, healing, and warm omegaverse. Claire, our Omega FMC, is a cookbook author. An hour away from her live TV appearance to talk about her book, he terrible ex broke up with her. This led her to say something unintentionally on live TV, upsetting many viewers and causing Claire to go into hiding. Claire, being a hermit, wasn't expecting to gain a hot new neighbor who is a famous food blogger. She meets Brody and immediately remembers him from her book signing event. Over the weeks, they get to know each other, sharing one thing in common: food.

Claire was invited to a friend's wedding, which she doesn't want to attend because her crazy ex is the best man. Knowing she can't miss the wedding, she asked Brody to be her date and pretend they're together. She had a bad vision impairment with a new set of contacts she wore in place of her glasses and thought Corey, Brody's other Alpha brother, was Brody when she saw him mowing the lawn 1 hour before the wedding started. With this mistake, she instructed Corey to get ready so they could leave for the wedding. On the way to the wedding, she took her contacts out because they were hurting her eyes and put on her glasses, only to realize the guy driving next to her wasn't Brody. Then, when they got to the wedding, her friend Katie also found her someone to be her date for the wedding, not knowing she already had two alphas who volunteered. Only to find out the Alpha Katie found was Jakob, Brody and Corey's other Alpha brother and last packmate.

This was a funny book. I was laughing half the time, and it kept me interested. There's trauma and healing for them all. There's a little spice and funny banter as well. Last but not least, we can't forget our favorite cat, Damien. The mistaken cat identity was one of my favorite parts. lol

Standalone (But interconnected)
Omegaverse
Funny Cat
surprise, you have three dates

Claire, our Omega FMC, is a cookbook author. She’s on her way to a live TV appearance to talk about her book when her ex decided he was going to dump her!!! What happens when we get dumped unexpectedly? Well, we don’t think…. Claire said something unintentionally on live TV, upsetting many viewers… So Claire had to go into hiding.

Claire moved away and wasn't expecting to gain a very good looking new neighbor…. who is also a famous food blogger. Your girl loves food, so that’s perfect! She meets Brody and immediately remembers him from her book signing event. I mean how could you forget him?!

Fast forward to Claire being invited to a friend's wedding. Sounds fun, right? Wrong!! Because that awful ex who dumped her and caused her to go into hiding??? Well… he’s the best man! She can’t miss her friends wedding, so what’s a girl to do? Well, take a smoking date of course! But who could she ask?? That hot new neighbor, Brody. What else could go wrong? Well, Claire had a new set of contacts that impaired her sight…. so she mistakenly thought Corey was Brody while watching him mow an hour before the wedding and sent him in to get ready. Corey went along with it, because Claire is just the cutest!

On the way to the wedding, Claire loses the contacts and puts her glasses on and notices her date is not the right guy! When they arrive at the wedding, she finds out her friends Katie also set her up with someone… Jakob, who happens to be the guys other packmate! Talk about a fate! Turns out our girl will have three dates, not just one.

This book was hilarious and so sweet. I’m so glad Claire found her pack and the men who know her worth! 100 percent recommend!

This is the second time, I have returned to Mistberry Cove. Harley Knight has created such a comforting, heartwarming world that I never want to leave. Before diving in, I do recommend checking the content warnings. This story touches on emotional and verbal abuse, online harassment, and an obsessive ex. Harley handles these topics with care, balancing the heavier moments with plenty of warmth, humor, and love.

Claire was such an easy character to root for. She's kind, compassionate, and quietly resilient, even when life seems determined to knock her down. Watching her slowly rebuild her confidence and stop allowing the opinions of others to define her was one of my favorite parts of the book.

One thing Harley Knight consistently does well is making every Alpha feel like a fully developed individual instead of blending together. Brody completely stole my heart with his caring nature, love of cooking, and unwavering support for Claire. Corey brought so much humor and sunshine to every scene, while Jakob balanced his protective instincts with a quiet steadiness that grounded the entire pack. Each relationship developed naturally, and together they created a pack that felt full of love, trust, and genuine partnership.

Of course, I can't write this review without mentioning Damien. Brody's cat is, without question, one of the best side characters in the entire series. Every time he appeared on the page, I couldn't stop smiling. He has so much personality that he honestly feels like another member of the pack, and he managed to steal nearly every scene he was in.

I love this series and am so excited for book three that is on the horizon!

This really is such a cozy Omegaverse story! It gave me all the Hallmark vibes… but with spice, and I absolutely loved it. 🥰

Claire, an omega, is having the worst time. Her fiancé leaves her for another omega, she completely fumbles an interview to help promote the upcoming release of her new cookbook and the whole thing goes viral in the worst possible way. Understandably, she wants to hide away from the world and pretend it doesn’t exist.

That is, until a pack of alphas moves in next door.

Brody, Corey and Jakob were the absolute best. These three were hilarious, caring, understanding, romantic and completely devoted to Claire. I loved that each of them had their own special moments with her, allowing every relationship to develop naturally. But when the whole pack was together? Those were some of my favourite scenes. They really were the perfect pack.

There are a few bumps along the way, including Claire’s ex stalking and harassing her, and a surprise visit from the alphas’ former omega. But this is a cozy romance, so you know your HEA is coming and getting there was such a fun ride.

And we absolutely cannot forget Damien the cat! He had so much personality that he honestly felt like another main character. I adored every scene he was in.

This book is full of heart, humour, romance and plenty of spice. Such a fun, comforting read that had me smiling the whole way through!

Harley Knight does it again. The Knotty Problem with Alphas is full of Romance hotter than an arid desert on a summers day. It also has major humor that had me laughing out loud quite a few times. From fake dating to finding your scent match in three very handsome men and next door to boot. What could a girl ask for?
Well our FMC has more trouble then she could ask for. A break-up and a bad live interview sends her spiraling down the proverbial rabbit's hole and retreating into herself. I love how the FMC decides to fix her dilemma and comes out better for the fix in the end.
Our MMC's are amazing and talented Bloggers and I loved all three of them. They are fun and charismatic with a lot protectiveness thrown in for good measure. When they meet the FMC the sparks start to fly and let me tell you the heat could melt the walls down. Oh and one of the MMC's cat steals the scenes every time. Damien the white fluffy cat is funny chaos and very protective of his human family.
So, if you enjoy Rom-Com, The Boys Next Door, Handsome Alphas, An Inquisitive White Cat and Heated Scenes to the Extreme then this is the book for you.

A Knotty Good Time in Mistberry Cove

I am absolutely infatuated with Harley Knight’s Mistberry Cove series. I honestly don’t see a knotty problem with these strapping young alphas!

Claire is a professional chef who has written a cookbook filled with recipes passed down from her grandmother. After having her heart broken, she completely bombs a live interview and retreats from the public eye. While hiding away, she notices her new neighbor, who shares her love of cooking, and soon finds herself watching him through the window.

When Claire invites him to a wedding, things take an unexpected turn when his entire pack shows up without coordinating with one another. Brody, Corey, and Jakob quickly steal the show and prove to be exactly the kind of alphas Claire needs in her life.

Claire has been through far more than anyone deserves, especially because of her awful ex, and I loved watching these protective men rally around her and support her every step of the way. Their chemistry with Claire was sweet, steamy, and heartfelt, making it impossible not to root for their happy ending.

I can’t wait to read more from Harley Knight. I love her writing style and always find myself completely invested in the characters she creates.

I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving my review.

The fake-dating trope is the best, but adding a wedding to the mix and a horrible ex, and you've hit gold. At first I was a little nervous about Claire's public kerfuffle, which wasn't that bad (I should have known), but afterward it was all smiles and laughter. Seriously. Light peeping, silly videos, and accidentally kidnapping—I was cracking up. Claire and the guys were hilarious. I liked them so much. Claire being an introvert with deep anxiety was very relatable. I loved that she found people who accept her for the imperfect person she is. Brody, Corey, and Jakob were something else. I liked Brody's high energy, Corey's playfulness, and Jakob's intensity. Best of all, they showed up for Claire before Claire realized she needed to showing up for them.

I loved everything about this book. The food talk, book tours, influencer videos, and kitty shenanigans were great. Very lighthearted. Things go a little dark. The whole ex situation escalated past the point I thought it would. Like, WTF? Only to later on stumble into a plot twist with so many turns they can only be described as soap opera worthy. I loved every minute of it. Just when I think I have Harley Knight down, she switches it up on me. The Knotty Problem with Alphas was an amazingly fun read. If you're an omegaverse and haven't read a Harley Knight book, then you're really missing out.

Claire has a terrible day when her fiancé breaks up with her on the morning of an important interview about her cookbook. During the interview, one comment sends her into a downward spiral, causing her to retreat from everyone around her.
When Claire meets Brody at a book signing, she has no idea who he is, only to discover he's a popular food influencer. She also learns that he and his pack are her new neighbors. Things get even more interesting when they agree to be her fake dates to her friend's wedding—completely unaware that her ex is one of the groomsmen. The resulting encounters with friends and family make for plenty of funny and awkward moments.

As Claire spends more time with Brody and his pack, she realizes they're all scent-compatible. She tries to resist her growing feelings, but it's hard to ignore the way they constantly show her that she belongs with them. Along the way, there's plenty of drama involving Claire's ex, as well as Brody, Corey, and Jakob's ex, who unexpectedly returns after two years. Despite all the chaos, the alphas never waver, making it clear they only have eyes for Claire.

Damien the cat was an absolute scene-stealer, and his antics had me smiling throughout the story.

I'm really enjoying the Mistberry Cove series and can't wait to read the next book!

On the day of a big interview, Claire's fiancé dumps her and she messes up by saying something during the interview because she's upset. Her cookbook sales plummet and she hides away from the world in Mistberry Cove. Yet a family friend is getting married and she said she would go, but her ex is the best man. Claire arranges a fake date with a hot Alpha food blogger and ends up with his whole pack. They want more than just one date, but she doesn't believe she's good enough. Will she continue to hide away even from the pack or will they convince her she's worth more than she could ever imagine?

This is the second amazing book in the sweet reverse harem Omegaverse romance series, Mistberry Cove. I had so much fun reading this book. The Alphas with their sexy baking, sizzling hot exercise videos, and how they doted on Claire. I fell for each and every one of the Alphas. Plus a bonus, Damien the cat! This was his story all along. He was the one who approached Claire and claimed her in his kitty sort of way. It was all his doing! Claire is adorable and so relatable. Her ex, Louis was absolutely loathsome. There are plenty of fog up your glasses steamy moments. I just couldn't get enough!

The Knotty Problem With Alphas is book two in the Mistberry Cove series. The stories are standalone romances.

Claire gets unceremoniously dumped by her lackluster Alpha on, arguably, the most important day of her life. He’s cold and callous and leaves her reeling. Hold on to your knots because better things await our sweet as sugar buns omega.

Brody, Corey, and Jakob move in next to Claire. A watch-them-through-the-window flirtation turns into one of the most adorable meet cutes. This is the sweetest scent match Omegaverse romance you will read this year. The guys are protective, possessive, and passionate. They love Claire exactly as she is and take personal pride in building her self esteem.

A few kinks are thrown into the works by exes and internet trolls but the group weather the storms with an unbreakable bond. An absolutely delightful read.

Loved! Loved everything about this, the storyline, the drama, the characters!
Our FMC is a baker and author who does an interview straight after being broken up with by her fiance! She says the wrong thing during the interview, which causes her abit of hatred! A cook influencer, buys her book and she signs it and theirs already a connection there!
He ends up moving in next door! Along with his pack mates (who we didn’t meet straight away)
Shes invited to a wedding where her ex is the best man, he sends her messages before the wedding in attempts to upset her.
Her friend convinces her to ask her neighbour, which she ends up doing as a fake date.
But when the wedding day happens she has an incident where she can’t see much and mistakes her fake dates pack mate for him, and ends up taking him to the wedding aswell and another incident with the third and final pack mate going too!
From the get go there is just an instant connection between them all.
Her ex is determined to wreck things though!
We also have a surprise heat and drama with their ex!

Overall another fantastic read from Harley!

I love everything that Harley writes. And this book is another incredible story. These AMAZING Alphas that are immediately obsessed with Claire. Claire is damaged from her AWFUL ex and they work hard to show Claire every minute of the day that they choose her.

The other Omega drama isn’t what you’d think. These men are GOOD men. Their ex comes back into the picture after being hurt by her ex and they make it clear that Claire is their Omega but they still offer assistance to their ex in a kind way while maintaining boundaries. They assure Claire nothing else matters but her.

The way they jump in to help or protect Claire in so many ways. These Alphas are social media famous with a huge following and they use their platforms to protect and prove to the world that Claire is theirs and she is loved.

Jakob made me melt about every 10 seconds. Imagining those big Alpha thighs in rugby shorts…..🥵🥵🥵🥵

Claire is not having a good day. Getting ready for a TV interview that she is already nervous about, her fiance unceremoniously ends their engagement and leaves with another omega. Heartbroken and flustered Claire makes a comment that she probably shouldn't have leaving her open to angry backlash on the internet. As a cookbook author her sales drop so it does really have a big impact on her. Her ex just can't leave things alone and when he texts her taunting her about being single at an upcoming wedding they are both attending, she asks Brody her new neighbour and shirtless chef sensation to be her date. Somehow she ends up with 3 dates which really sets the gossip mill on fire!

Harley Knight always hits the mark with her Omegaverse stories and I love each one more than the last. This had everything I could have wanted... 3 amazingly swoony Alphas, comedy, drama (which in some cases takes a bit of a sinister turn), a cat with attitude and an Omega who is stronger than she ever believed she could be. I finished the book with a smile on my face and looking forward to another Mistberry Cove book in the future

I loved this story, coming back to Mistberry cove and meeting Claire. A sweet omega with the love for her grans cooking but who's had a lot of bad drama in her life. Especially when it comes to her x boyfriend who i really didn't like. She's lovable and suffers from Anxiety and self doubt but luckily she'll meet three gorgeous Alphas all with there own little quirks that I just loved and I especially loved Brody with his big cat Damien and the adorable video they do as the Manbaker and Claire will love every minute. There's Pleanty of drama and I loved the instant attraction between them and Claire was just so cute. Every time the guy did or said something. She'd end up blushing but luckily she'll find this bold side of her which would end up making things super hot between them. But her guys are there for her no mater what. Making her fell safe and finally being able to face anything. There's some amazing characters throughout the story and I loved how the drama leading up to the end was unpredictable and totally blew me away. The ending was also swoon worthy and I'm so glad they got there happily ever after. Especially with the bonus chapter that I just loved.

I absolutely adored Claire’s story.

Yes it started out terribly & Louis is absolutely horrible. But she met Brody, Corey, & Jakob as a result & I think she had the better ending.

Brody is also a baker like her & they immediately bond over their love of food & well a very fluffy cat. And then a contact mishap has her meeting his pack mate right before a friend’s wedding which then has her equally as enamored.

And when her friend sets her up with a fake date to that wedding that also happens to be the third pack mate and it becomes fate that she has met all of them.

The four of them together were absolutely perfect together & I loved the easy way they all gravitated towards one another.

They had some messy speed bumps along the way with some not so nice exes & then an ex looking for safety after her bonded mate treats her horribly.

But I absolutely loved how they all came together in the end & things worked out so much better for her. And their bonding was so on point for them all & perfect.

I absolutely loved this book & am so excited for what ever comes next.

Amazing job!

Grandma’s Recipes…

Claire has a horrible day, her fiancé breaks up with her the morning of an important interview about her cookbook. During her interview she makes a comment that sends her spiraling down and hiding from everyone.

When Claire meets Brody during a book signing she doesn’t know who he is but quickly learns that he is a food influencer. She also learns that he and his pack are her new neighbors that become her fake dates to her friends wedding, that her ex is a groomsmen in, unbeknownst to each other at the time. Which makes for some comical moments amongst her friends and family.

She soon realizes that they are all scent compatible and tries not to fall for them but stops fighting it when they keep showing her that she is theirs. We do have some ex drama issues with Claire’s ex. Also with Brody, Corey and Jakob’s ex who shows up out of the blue after two years. Through the drama the alphas keep showing Claire that they have eyes only for her. I also loved Damien the cats antics.

I’m really enjoying this Mistberry Cove series and can’t wait for the next book.

This is a cosy, chaotic omegaverse romance.

I completely felt for Claire; her terrible ex dumped her right before her live television interview, and watching deal with everything after being torn to shreds by internet trolls made me root for her so hard.

The three Alphas—Brody, Corey, and Jakob—were absolute golden retrievers who were instantly obsessed with her, and I loved how they used their social media platforms to protect her and build her confidence back up. Their fake-dating setup for a wedding led to some funny moments, and the spicy scenes were so steamy. I also completely adored Damien, the fluffy menace of a cat, who stole practically every single scene he was in!

The happy ending gives you such a warm, squishy feeling inside. It is a sweet addition to the Mistberry Cove series, and I am so excited to see whose story we get to read next!

Another amazing read from the incomparable Harley Knight. We are back in Mistberry Cove where the Norns are weaving fate through the mist. Our FMC, Clair, a professional chef, cookbook author, amazing friend who sees the good in people, slightly reluctant omega, and recently single thanks to a jerk of an ex. Because of that ex she wasn't the best in the TV interview and definitely said something she probably shouldn't have which then went viral for all the wrong reasons. Enter Brody, an alpha, new neighbor, and thirst trap baker. Clair has to go to a wedding, who better than Brody her hot neighbor. Except she then accidentally has the whole pack with her through a comedy of errors. Here's the thing dear readers they smell delicious to each other but Clair isn't ready to move on or is she. The storyline was hilarious, hot, & page turningly (that's not a work but I'm making it one) good. The chemistry is amazing and the spice was awesome as always. I can't wait to come back to Mistberry and I can only hope that Clair's omega friends get their HEA.

After being trigger by the last book, i went into this book with dread and absolutely convinced I would not like it. I was shocked to find that I loved this book in the beginning. The characters were fun, the plot was interesting. The whole scene where she meets the other two pack mates was so much fun that I was laughing and smiling like a fool while reading. I fully expected this to be a 5 star book. And while i did enjoy the book, something happened around the time she went into heat that kind of made me take a step back and afterwards I didn't 5 star love the book anymore. The worst part was is that I have no idea what sentence I read that did it. I cannot pinpoint a character or a thought or spoken sentence that took me out. I can only say it was around that point in the book that something shifted for me. Not helpful i know. Would I like a copy for my shelves? Yes. And I going to run out and get a copy right this second? No. I don't feel that rush anymore. Do I feel the same hesitation for the next book that I felt for this one? No. This book wiped that away.

Well, I finished this little gem and now I feel all squishy inside. 😌 Claire our FMC, and absolutely amazing writer, is on her way to an epic TV interview to promote her cookbook. But, as all of our lives can sometimes deliver, bad news at the worst possible time. Absolute jerk (best pc word I can use at the moment), chooses this occasion to dump her 10 minutes before she goes on the air.
As all of us in a moment of absolute panic, sometime your mouth walks away from your brain and who knows what's gonna come out. Claire finds this out the hard way and the Internet does it's Internet thing, it's brutal.
Alone now in a new house, trying to start over, but mainly hiding from the world and all it's cruelness, a surprise happens to move in nextdoor. And woooweee... 3 absolutely LOVELY surprises!

Come join Claire as she rebuilds her life and learns to finally live it at the same time. 😉

This was another of Harley Knight's books which I couldn't put down once I started reading it! Really enjoyed Claire's journey into finding her pack, dealing with the online hate and dealing with an obsessive ex. Loved the comedy moments surrounding getting to the wedding and the wedding itself. Several cute moments between Claire, Brody, Jakob and Corey. I enjoyed that each of the alphas had their distinct personalities: Brody felt the warmhearted cook whose smile and cheekbones could charm women, Corey was the light hearted joker whose fitness was a big part of him and Jakob who played rugby on the side but controlled the business and editing side of the pack's business and kept very protective of Claire in the right moments.

There was a lot of dealing with exes breaking in and emotional and verbal abuse so definitely take care of that incase it might be a trigger warning. So the story has some drama and slight angst but still loved it and looking forward to the next book!

Back in the world of Mistberry Cove, we meet Claire an Omega who writes cook books with love, but one wrong interview and she is the subject of internet trolls and Memes.

This was an easy book to get into and I Love that Brody,Corey and Jakob are here for her. I very much enjoyed the Wedding mix up and that the fact Corey was very happy to get Kidnapped by a bossy Omega. I could totally visualize the videos they were producing and the fact Damien has no shame at batting things and being a diva, I very much enjoyed these parts of the book.

I found some of the Alpha monologues to be a little repetitive, especially when they were thinking about making Claire theirs.

It isn't a Mistberry Cove book without a bit of drama being in the mix - exe's turning up on both Claire's side and the Alpha side.

overall I very much enjoyed reading the book, and I hope we get Eli, Tracy and Maggie stories next!

This is the second book in the Mistberry Cove series. Mistberry Cove is becoming one of my favorite places.
Claire's day can't get any worse. Or so she thought. Her fiance breaks up with her right before her interview about her cookbook. At the interview she accidentally blurts out something that made the video go viral and not in a good way.
She stays out of the public eye mostly. She does however have to go to her friend's wedding. She doesn't want to because her ex fiance is the best man. So fake date it is. She gets her neighbor Brody ( whom she met at her book signing) to play the part. She ends up with his pack mates there as well. Brody , Corey, and Jakob are her scent matches as well.
The things they do to show her she can count on them always makes your heart swoon. They do what needs to be done to protect her. The story is sweet, funny, and happiness all rolled up. And then some. I am looking forward to the next book.
