Are You Serious?!?!

ANOTHER cliffhanger?!?! Kinda getting annoying and how dumb Lincoln is for being such a genius. I seriously can’t believe how much he thinks w his other head and he doesn’t find it a problem. “Oh Sarah kissed me and yeah I kissed her back but I stopped so it’s ok. I didn’t do anything wrong.” I’m still waiting for his very public apology to Gabby and putting the record straight since he never did that before and let Sarah make her look bad. I don’t think Gabby should take him back til he does that. He may seem more mature but he’s so easily lead astray and his eyes wander so much that think he’d do it again even w someone else like he was going to at the end til Big Dude took over. Lincoln hasn’t really actively done anything to make amends to Gabby and to SHOW that he’s changed. He just cries a lot and makes her feel either guilty or horny.

A long moment of silence

Have I already mentioned that Alexandria's writing just keeps getting better and better? I did on the last review and I'll say it again here. Alexandria's writing just keeps getting better and better with every release.
I am sucked in from the first few words and I go through a roller-coaster of emotions as if it's happening to me. I have such strong opinions on every single character and I speak at length with my book club ladies about these characters (and the characters from the other series).
After finishing this book, I literally sat on the couch in silence because I could not believe all that I had just read. My flabbers were gasted and I need the next book ASAP.

We are gluttons for punishment

Almost all of ADG’s books that I have read have the same negative aspects butI keep on reading them. 🤦🏽‍♀️

All of her series thus far are 5-7books, so a cliffhanger is inevitable but they still piss me off.

All of her books that I’ve read have are a version of second chance romance including betrayal and the betrayal is infuriating, gut-punching, and audacious. The redemption or groveling doesn’t match the offense but as a reader you still want to know how the MCs figure it all out.

The relationship between the MCs is always a morbid train wreck you can’t look away from.

I would run out of paper listing all the things I dislike about this series thus far, but the truth is the author is a genius when it comes to creating unpredictable plot twist while holding her audience’s attention a putting them in a chokehold that carries to the end of the series

*Lite Spoilers*

All this irks me but hasn’t deterred me from reading.

This book in particular did not go how I thought and has irked me the most. I thought the MMC would be tormented by his actions, how that affected gabby and actually have some sense of remorse. That’s not the case. Torment refers to their twisted edging sexual activity. So far there hasn’t been any real character growth. It’s a jumble of unfortunate events where the blk chick gets hurt, the white FMC gets what she wants while become evil and the MMC bangs them all in the mean time.

I’m disappoint that the injury from the robot didn’t hold more weight or meaning that inspired character growth. Instead it seems to be the catalyst for some other f’d up stuff being set up in the story. In the meantime the blk FMC is making more and more dumb decisions and acting like an overly emotional teenager. The white FMC is getting more and more vindictive. And the MMC is moving along bouncing back and forth between them.

I am genuinely annoyed and frustrated….there was absolutely ZERO character development in this book and nothing substantial has happened/different from book 2. I was heavily invested in this series but after the cliffhanger from this book I have no idea where tho story is heading.

wash, rinse, repeat

Our male antagonist can’t control himself. He repeatedly betrays the supposed love of his life. It’s ridiculous these two can’t do the right thing.

This 3rd book is just the repeated same cycle. It could have been pretty good but now it’s monotonous.

just wow!!

Love this book. Love this series. Love this author. I’ve consumed all her books ravenously. I’m so hooked. This onesie not disappoint.

I would love if she did a bully romance. I think she could pull it off so well with her writing style.

Holy Smokes and Jay-sus! 4.5 what the heck stars

Are you kidding me right now? This book was everything! I’m so very glad that Gabby got to get hers back this book. As usual, I hate when authors make the FMC kick the MMC when he is down dressing it up as revenge. I’m of the mind to shock the heck out of them while they’re all happy and carefree and look over and see you with someone else? Doing better than they’ve ever seen you? A revenge body, maybe? You get my drift. Regardless I actually felt for Lincoln in this book! I am super mad at you, Miss Alexandria da Great for making me feel anything besides contempt for this jack hole. Because I truly felt his pain, I truly felt he was devastated, I truly felt that he was ashamed and felt guilty for what he did. However, I DO agree with the reviews that stated Lincoln is weak. Oh my goodness was this man a slave to his smex Dr.!! He really truly had no self-control and a man his age should definitely have that down pat by then. Hope he grows up a little bit in the next book.
I like how we got to learn more and more about each character, as well as some of the side characters brought into the limelight. There’s a couple of ways the story can continue with the final book for, with how many feelers are out there with the other characters. I am just shook by what happened to Lincoln at the end of this book. What a cliffhanger of cliffhangers. Now I see what everyone was saying about blackmail.
I cannot wait for the next book to come out in a couple of weeks. I forced myself to wait to start the series until this third book came out, and I gobbled all of them down so quickly it’s like what was the point of avoiding anyway? This whole series has been an emotional run from the time they were children up through today. I’m truly curious as to where this book is going to go. I’m not all that sure that Lincoln and Gabby are gonna end up together at this point. I’m not all that sure I want them to end up together. This may be cruel of me to say, but if they don’t end up together, I hope Gabby does get to be happy and Lincoln’s miserable. Lol!
All in all, this was an emotional read, but also so yummy! Something about Alexandria is way of writing Just draws you in and makes you root for characters. You never thought you would. She knows how to twist a story & tell a tale like no other. I’m so surprised at this. Author doesn’t have more traction, she’s an amazing Author and I hope to be able to help get the word out because wow! The world is missing out on some of the best. Of course, this was a virtual voice and each book. The virtual voice gets a tiny bit better. They used a male and a female one respectively.

Crazy

What is happening? Feel like this book is getting crazier by the second. Most of it was very good seems as if things were going positively for Gabby and Lincoln, but the latter part of the book seems to be less about Gabby and Lincoln's relationship and more about other people butting in. Like a 'let's shake this up last minute'.

I almost put this book down!..I know this author likes uncomfortable situations but this!.. And I'm just gonna mention the living situation introduced. Hell to the no!!!Gabby stood strong for about 2 minutes then relented. That Chick Sarah was making enough money to rent a motel. Gabby is waiting for her ex-husband to stand up for her and choose. And he lets her down everytime.

Ends in a cliffhanger

Terrible book. Don’t read as it is mundane and boring.
There is no flow to this book.
She should concentrate on keeping her series to one book instead of trying to stretch it out to 3 or 4 books.

Omg Lincoln is so dumb to be so smart. And gabby should have just left when Sarah showed up. Ugh. I can wait to see what’s next.

this story is all

Over the place. H is an idiot and mostly I’m annoyed that there’s no warning that this is a cliffhanger. The book is way too long for that. I’m done.

cliffhanger… again

Good 3rd book if you’re in the mood for a rage read. Lincoln is an absolute fool and Gabby is weak. Book 3 of 3 that ended on another cliffhanger. Smfh.
