This was exactly the kind of MC romance I didn’t realize I was craving.

The Florida chapter felt fresh, exciting, and full of life, and I was hooked from the very first page. Between the strong sense of brotherhood, the small-town atmosphere, and the steady pulse of danger running through the story, I found myself completely immersed and turning pages far too late into the night.

Knox and Maren were such an easy couple to root for. Their chemistry was undeniable, but it was the emotional connection between them that truly won me over. Knox has that tough, commanding presence you’d expect from an MC president, yet beneath it all is a fiercely loyal man with a surprisingly soft heart. Maren’s strength, independence, and resilience made her the perfect match for him, and I loved watching them find comfort, trust, and happiness in each other despite the challenges standing in their way.

What made this book such a standout for me was how seamlessly it blended romance, suspense, emotion, and steam. Every element felt balanced, keeping me fully invested in both the relationship and the larger story unfolding around it.

This was everything I love about romance wrapped into one addictive read.

Scarlett Cole did it again—I absolutely devoured this book! Having read both of her MC series, I can confidently say she never disappoints. The Florida chapter of the Iron Outlaws is off to an incredible start, and the swampy, small-town Florida setting creates the perfect atmosphere for this story.

Knox and Maren's romance has everything I love: age gap, enemies-to-lovers tension, and undeniable chemistry. Maren is the daughter of the corrupt sheriff responsible for Knox's brother's death, which puts them at odds from the very beginning. Knox and the Outlaws have always judged her because of her father, but when danger pulls Maren into Knox's world, he begins to realize she's nothing like the man she despises.

What I loved most was watching their relationship evolve. Beneath all the tension and banter, they both carry loneliness and pain, making their connection feel genuine and earned. Maren doesn't make things easy for Knox, and I loved seeing him work for her trust. Their chemistry is electric, and Scarlett Cole knows exactly how to write steamy scenes that keep you turning pages.

One of my favorite things about this series is the loyalty of the MC brothers. The way they protect, support, and cherish the women they love never gets old. Watching Knox and Maren find comfort, trust, and happiness together despite everything stacked against them was incredibly satisfying.

I cannot wait to see what's next for the Florida chapter of the Iron Outlaws!

This is great escapist pleasure. I was surprised by just how quickly I got sucked in and I want more of these rough diamond brothers.

It needs to be said this is a first book in a spin off series. There are characters who are referred to from the previous Iron Outlaws MC : Colorado series and we have a decent amount of set up going on. The band of brothers and their MC culture is laid out but all in all, this didn't detract from the core relationship between Knox and Maren. The Suspense element comes at you from two directions. Ultimately, I think we're set up for the bad guy to be a recurring theme in the series.

I enjoyed the communication between Knox and Maren. Maren comes across as lonely but not gullible. She's her own person making her own decisions. Knox rides that line between big tough unfeeling jerk but marshmallow for his girl and their future together.
I considered this more of a dislike or misunderstood to lovers via forced proximity in a hurricane lock down. The age gap is appropriate (30-ish & 44) and the light breeding kink is in keeping with age and stage of life.
I liked the first person alternating POV because you get a clear set up of the motorcycle club
as a distinct off shoot of Iron Outlaws MC : Colorado series.
I cannot wait for the rest of the series. Bring on Vandal!

I wasn't sure about this one at the start. It seemed like there was a lot of history between Knox and Maren that would be hard to overcome. History that didn't really deal with Maren, she was just colored by it with her last name.

I did like how Maren stood up to Knox when things were starting out, that she didn't let him walk all over her and let him know that if there was going to be something between them what she expected. I thought it good to have it all laid out. It did bother me that Knox was hiding things from the MC, even as I understood why. The way that they came out as a couple was a crazy on a couple of levels. Maren really had to trust Knox to do what she did, which then won over the guys in the club.

Things got crazy towards the end on a couple of levels. The outside threat, glad to see that taken care of and that Knox got the help he did. I don't think it's over though, egos are too big to let things go. The drama with Maren's father...well, couldn't have happened to a better person and now Maren is free to live her life the way she wants without any threat looming over her.

With how this one ended, I'm really looking forward to the next one, that brother is a mess and I think there is a little girl that will help him see things straight.

"Knox Unleashed" by Scarlett Cole is another book in a long line of excellent motorcycle club romances that I have sunk my teeth into as of late. It is a small-town, enemies-to-lovers forbidden romance featuring an age gap between the main characters, Maren (the sheriff's daughter) and Knox (the president of the Iron Outlaws MC). Maren is *the last* person Knox should be falling for since she is the sheriff's daughter, especially considering the sheriff k1lled Knox's brother and is corrupt as heck. Maren owns a tour boat company, which was her grandfather's business before he passed away. She stays away from trouble and keeps a low profile, minding her own business, until two unknown men come looking for one of the members of the Iron Outlaws, and she might know where he went. Knox eventually visits Maren to interrogate her, and the chemistry between them is delightful. They clearly dislike each other immensely, but there is still some witty banter and wicked flirting going on between them. He is borderline obsessed with her at some point; she is always on his mind, and he will do anything to protect her. When a hurricane blows through town, they end up staying together to ride out the storm... and even though the electricity is out, the explosive sparks still fly between them! From there, they begin a secret relationship so no one in his club finds out he's with the sheriff's daughter. The more time they spend together, the deeper their connection gets. There's clearly a lot of love between them... and a lot of steamy moments! Knox supports Maren when she hasn't historically had that in her life. Despite him being a morally gray MMC, his soft side came out around her. I thought the relationships and world-building here were well-crafted. There are lots of characters and lots of moving parts, but it never got confusing. I was on the edge of my seat a couple of times while reading this. When Maren was in the supermarket! When the baddies finally show up in person! Quite stirring. I can't wait for the next book in this series!

This first book in the Florida chapter of the Iron Outlaws MC had me hook, line and sinker. The tension that radiated between Knox and Maren could be felt with every word, page and interaction. The President of the MC and the Sheriff's daughter could never be a match or could it. Maren had been held in the same standing as her father, however when Knox saw below the surface, he realized that Maren held the same feelings for her father that he did. A man who didn't want forever and a young woman who wanted it all were drawn to each other like a moth to a flame. The heat between these two was scorching and will have your pulse racing. I loved that with Maren we got to see the soft side of Knox as he cared, loved and protected her. Maren was a character in her own right; she was stronger than she gave herself credit for which had you falling in love with her. A MC story that is filled with grit, secrets, suspense, drama and a little chaos to have you on the edge of your seat. This enemies to lovers, age gap romance will steal your breath away and have you coming back for more.

This was a good read overall. I liked both Maren and Knox, and their enemies-to-lovers romance had great chemistry. I also appreciated that they communicated well instead of relying on unnecessary misunderstandings.

Knox was the perfect tough but soft MC president, while Maren's strength made her a great match for him. Watching them build trust and find happiness together was my favorite part.

My only issue was keeping track of all the biker crew names. And Maren's dad? Absolutely hated that man. Not a favorite, but definitely an enjoyable read.

True five star read!!

Scarlett Cole is one of my top authors in my favorite list. I always know that when I read one of her Iron Outlaws chapters I will be invested emotionally. This story has all the feels. Once I started reading this book I couldn't put it down until I reached the very happily ever after ending. You can expect very hot scenes of spice between Knox and Maren. Now I hope August arrives quickly so I can read Vandals story!! Enjoy this book and read the other motorcycle series that she has written.

OMG, I love this book! An MC, age-gap, enemies-to-lovers, forbidden romance, which is heavy on the romance, this is an intense yet beautifully functional and epically swoony love story with action and drama, and it’s such a great read!

Scarlett Cole is continuing her Iron Outlaws MC journey and has moved the action to the Florida chapter. I have loved the Iron Outlaws series, and there is a great crossover in this book. But if you haven’t picked up one of these books yet, you can dive straight into this one as a fantastic place to start.

Knox is the President of the Iron Outlaws Florida chapter, and in a fabulous enemies-to-lovers setup, Maren is the daughter of the local Sheriff, a crooked tyrant who shot and killed Knox’s brother. Maren runs her late grandfather’s business, and keeps to herself, avoiding her abusive father and staying out of the way of the MC. But it’s a small town, and run-ins are inevitable, and though they bicker, there is a definite spark between Knox and Maren.

When Knox rescues Maren from danger, the intensity and their subsequent close proximity force them to confront their chemistry, and it is freaking epic! Knox is a bossy alpha, Maren is a sassy smartass, and when they both give in to what they want so badly, they don't hold back. Their chemistry is sizzling and their connection is undeniable. And though they intend for things between them to be strictly physical, they can’t stay away from each other, and they fall hard, fast, and completely.

“You’ve crawled beneath my skin, and I want to keep you there. I know this makes no sense. I know you’re scared. But if you take everything else away – responsibilities and last names and club affiliations – if we’re just Knox and Maren and nothing else matters, we still have a chance to be happy together.”

They have barriers to overcome – firstly, their 16-year age gap, then their twisted family history, and then there’s the animosity between the boys of the club based on who they perceive Maren to be. To keep it simple, they keep their relationship a secret, which adds a delicious forbidden feel. But their wild passion for each other, and Knox’s protectiveness and possessiveness can’t be contained, and though it takes them by surprise, they bravely follow their hearts and embrace everything that is happening between them.

She’s mine. More than anyone ever has been.

I love these characters so much. Knox is a supreme badass, but he has a huge heart for those that he cares for, and watching him fall so hopelessly for Maren absolutely stole my heart (and as a bonus - that cover is perfection!). And Maren is a fabulous heroine! Smart, bold and brave, she’s fiercely independent, and she’s a great match for Knox. They talk openly about everything, they accept each other exactly as they are, and they address all of the nuances and challenges of their relationship honestly and functionally. The sexy time is wild and a little bit kinky, but also intimate and meaningful, and shows their connection and trust in each other, and their love for each other just shines.

While all of this is unfolding, the club is facing a new and dangerous threat, and Maren is caught up in it. The drama, tension and action are really well written, bringing many heart-pounding moments, and the different elements of the story enhance each other to deliver a read that is intense, emotional and dramatic while still bringing funny moments, steam and a heartwarmingly beautiful romance.

And the swampy, small-town Florida setting brings a fantastic feel that provides such a perfect backdrop to the story.

We get introduced to the rest of the club members from Florida, and I am desperate to read more about them! There are some great set-ups already, and I am so excited to continue on with the series.

This is such an awesome read, I loved everything about it.

J’adore cette autrice et j’ai beaucoup aimé les deux premières séries d’Iron Outlaws dont celle-ci est un spin-off. Cette fois on découvre un nouveau club qui se situe en Floride. Qui dit nouveau club, dit nouveaux membres que l’on va découvrir et on commence par Knox, le président du club. Knox est brut de décoffrage et vit sa vie comme il l’entend. C’est le plus ancien président du club et il en est fier. Il aime la ville où il vit, même s’il déteste le chef de police du comté qui est responsable de la mort de son frère. Par extension il ne supporte pas non plus la fille du shérif. Mais quand Maren se retrouve mêlée aux affaires du club et donc en danger, Knox ne peut s’empêcher d’intervenir. Et il doit dire qu’elle l’intrigue et l’attire mais il ne peut pas la désirer. C’est la fille de l’ennemi et elle est trop jeune. Mais Knox oublie peu à peu pour quoi vouloir quelque chose et l’obtenir sont deux choses différentes. Et l’une de ses choses pourraient le mener à tout perdre s’il fait une erreur…

J’ai adoré ce premier tome qui est ma première lecture de juin et mon premier coup de coeur du mois.

Les personnages géniaux.
J’ai beaucoup aimé Knox. C’est un personnage complexe, morally gray car il fait partie d’un MC et vit donc en brisant les règles. Mais dans le même temps il a de bon côté. Il est protecteur et loyal avec ceux à qui il tient. Il est perdu quand il se rend compte que la fille du chef de la police de la ville qui a tué son frère il y a plusieurs années. Mais il se rend vite compte que Maren est très différente de son père et cache beaucoup de choses… Quand elle a besoin d’aide il ne peut s’empêcher de mettre les pieds dans le plat. Maren est tout aussi géniale que Knox. Elle n’a pas confiance en elle et à l’impression de ne pas être à sa place ni d’être qui elle veut vraiment être à cause de son père et de son passé. Pour autant elle ne se laisse pas marcher sur les pieds et elle est très intéressante. Et elle peut compter sur Knox pour l’aider à surmonter ce qu’elle vit en ce moment mais aussi ce qu’elle a vécu.
Leur relation est loin d’être simple mais elle est profonde et complexe avec un côté touchant mine de rien.

La trame est tout aussi top avec beaucoup de sujets différents abordés. Il y a de l’action et des rebondissements ce qui fait que l’on ne s’ennuie pas. De plus c’est cool de découvrir les nouveaux membres de ce nouveau club qui sont tous intéressants et promettent pas mal de mouvents. C’est tout aussi sympa de revoir les membres des autres clubs des séries précédentes qui font de petites apparitions surprises et permettent de suivre leurs évolutions mais aussi celles des différentes branches du club ainsi que du club au niveau national. J’avais adoré les séries précédentes et je trouve d’ailleurs que c’est dommage que la série précédente sur le club du Colorado se soit arrête à cause de mauvais commentaires car l’autrice avait pris le risque de casser des codes en incluant des persos non binaires… Mais bon cette nouvelle série est tout aussi prometteuse et j’ai hâte de lire le prochain tome qui portera sur Vandal un membre qui m’intrigue et dont l’histoire doit paraître en août prochain.

Je recommande ce roman si vous aimez les romances MC qui cassent un peu les codes avec des personnages aussi intenses que complexes et touchants.

The relationship between Knox and Maren begins acrimoniously but Knox will discover Maren is unlike the man who claims to control the town.With her own reasons to despise her father, Maren refuses to back down, remaining true to our story line hero. Knox never expected to fall in love, especially with the sheriff’s daughter but the possiblity of his own happily ever after forces Knox to claim the woman that calls to his heart. The $ex scenes are intimate and provocative.

There is another large ensemble cast of familiar, colorful and dynamic secondary and supporting characters including several members and their significant others of the Iron Outlaws MC, Sheriff Caldwell, and the cartel.

We are back with an exciting new chapter of the Iron Outlaws MC This time we are in Florida and the series starts with Knox, the longest serving Outlaw president and Maren Caldwell, who works at the Magnolia Bait and Marine Supply. This is a spicy enemies to lovers, age gap, hurt / comfort romance set deep in the Florida Everglades in the small town of Gator Flats. The couple know being together is dangerous because of the traumatic history between them but there is something that keeps pulling Knox back to her. It is also about how the sins of our fathers can affect not only someones life but also everyones attitude towards you, and how secrets and bad decisions have consequences.

This story has links to The Hope We Dare and is the catalyst to much of what happens in this book. Jackal was an Outlaw with the Florida chapter for a while and his closest friend was Jonathan Paltrow aka Sidekick. He turned out to be a monster and Jackal hated being deceived. Things took a turn when Sidekick kidnapped Isla and Shade, and said a woman in Florida had told him Jackal’s location. Knox is a morally grey character who knows he’ll get his revenge on Sheriff Caldwell who killed his brother. He is furious someone betrayed Jackal and is determined to find out the culprit. What he doesn’t expect is to fall for one of the suspects.

Maren Caldwell has ended up running her family’s bait and marine store. She has had a rough childhood which she has kept hidden from the town due to her dad being the local sheriff. She has had to pretend that things are fine even though he is controlling and manipulative. Also due to his actions she was bullied and the MC has made her life miserable. When she finally decides enough is enough, it leads to her falling for the one man she shouldn’t. He hates her because of who she is and she hates him as fed up being blamed for her father.

They have regularly have feisty interactions and bring out the worse in each other. He wishes Maren was someone else because his fantasies about her are reckless and wrong. He’s not the type to settle down or change his way of life but she is making him question everything he believes in. Knox knows he will have to go against everything if he wants a relationship with Maren because of her father. She’s also too young for him but when a hurricane arrives everything changes for both of them. Things escalate when others arrive in town looking for Jackal and Maren finds herself caught up in it all.

Their relationship develops as they find it harder to keep their feelings secret. She knows he has put his heart and life on the line for her. I liked her paintings especially the abstract ones of her and Knox. There are implications and complications but that doesn’t stop them, even when everyone else knows their relationship is a bad idea. Will his men ever trust her and accept her as his old lady. How will her father react when he finds out.

We are introduced to the main members of the MC. North, Havoc,Vandal, Sunny, Lock, Ridge and Reaper. A loyal band of brothers who stick together and tease each other. Things get a bit haywire for the MC when there is more trouble linked to Paltrow. Mateo Alvarez makes threats towards their club and one of them is badly attacked. I loved how they were supported by everyone and it was great to catch up with the New Jersey guys especially Niro and Cat. Adored the scene with King and baby Imogen.

Frightening revelations for Maren when her father decides he doesn’t approve of her relationship. Will she survive his actions and have the life she deserves. Who will survive when the MC gain revenge for Vandal. A great start to the new series and I loved all the little titbits about the different MC members ready for their books. Looking forward to Vandal’s book as the teaser at the end could just be what he needs to help his recovery. Can’t wait to meet Elsie and Sir Bearington Boo Boo Bear !!

My first S. Cole book and excuse me while I immediately add the rest of her backlist to my TBR. I dipped a toe into this MC world and somehow ended up diving in headfirst. I devoured this book in a single day and I'm honestly embarrassed by how long I let it collect dust on my Kindle.

Knox, the President of the Iron Outlaws MC, is exactly the kind of morally gray outlaw I can't resist…sexy, protective, dominant, and absolutely gone for the one woman he should want nothing to do with. Watching this tough biker completely lose his footing over Maren had me grinning the entire time.

And Maren? I loved her. She's smart, strong, resilient, and refuses to let life break her despite carrying the weight of her toxic relationship with her father. The daughter of the sheriff responsible for Knox's brother's death shouldn't work on paper... but wow, these two had me hooked from the start.

Their chemistry is off the charts, but it was the emotional connection that really sold me. They communicate. They trust each other. They accept each other exactly as they are. The way Knox became Maren's safe place absolutely melted my heart.

And the spice? Whew. 🌶️🌶️🌶️ It was wild, a little kinky, intensely hot, but still felt intimate and meaningful because of how deeply connected they were. Expect breeding kink, primal play, and enough tension to keep the pages turning.
What I loved most was how effortlessly this story blended romance, suspense, angst, violence, drama, and steam. I was fully invested in both the love story and everything happening around it. Plus, Knox being a total badass with a giant soft spot for Maren? Catnip for me.

My only real complaints were that the timeline felt incredibly fast (we're talking insta-love on steroids), the pacing was a bit uneven, and the final showdown didn't quite pack the punch I was hoping for. The ending was fairly predictable, but honestly? By that point I was so invested in Knox and Maren that I didn't even care.

Overall, this was a swoony, spicy, action-packed MC romance that completely won me over. Knox and Maren were ridiculously easy to root for, and now I need more Iron Outlaws immediately.

Also... can we take a moment for that cover? Because perfection. 😮‍💨🔥

S. Cole has once again proven what an extraordinary author she is. When I pick up one of her books to read, I go in with incredibly high expectations - and somehow, she exceeds them every single time.

Her phenomenal Iron Outlaws world has now transported us to Florida, and it feels only fitting that the first brother we meet is the chapter President himself, Knox. From the moment the cover was revealed, there was something about Knox that immediately gave me butterflies. Now that I've finally met the man behind the image, I can honestly say he has earned a place on the highest pedestal alongside all of my favourite book boyfriends. Getting to know him has been an absolute pleasure, and I have to say, Maren is one very lucky woman.

While I may be a little jealous of Maren, the truth is she deserves every bit of happiness that comes her way. Her journey is deeply emotional, and there were moments that genuinely broke my heart. I admired her strength so much throughout the story. She's the kind of character I'd be honoured to call a friend in real life.

This story completely blew me away. The drama and suspense woven throughout the narrative were incredible. I genuinely did not want to put the book down, and I'm already desperate for our next visit to Florida. It's been amazing getting to know the brothers of the Florida chapter - I absolutely love the banter and camaraderie they share, and I cannot wait to learn more about each of them as the series progresses. And, of course, being reunited with favourites from previous series only added to what was already an epic reading experience.

Even though this is the seventeenth MC book S. Cole has written, she still manages to bring something fresh and exciting to the genre. I'm honestly in awe of her talent. One of the many things I love most about her writing is her vivid and immersive descriptive style, which paints every scene and setting so clearly that I can picture everything perfectly in my mind. It adds so much depth and richness to the overall reading experience.

I cannot recommend Knox Unleashed highly enough. It has become another all-time favourite for me - and honestly, it comes as no surprise that S. Cole is the author behind it.

made it to Floridaaa with the Iron Outlaws 🌴 I’ve been following this Iron Outlaws series for a whileee and tbh I was a little nervous to jump into a new location but Scarlett Cole absolutely nailed the transition. The Florida setting brings this gritty swampy vibe that feels fresh but totally fits the mc vibe.

Knox is an actual mess 😅 he’s the President of the Florida chapter and he’s been carrying a massive grudge for yearsssss. The backstory where his brother was killed by maren’s corrupt sheriff father is sooo deep and adds a sooo much angst to the enemies to lovers dynamic. this all makes what makes the tension just so dang good. You can feel the history between them espesh the resentment mixed with attraction.

Maren doesn't have the same toxic traits as her dad. She’s resilient, independent and shes dealin with her own father issues. Watching her try to stay out of the mcs way while secretly pining for the man she’s supposed to hate tbh is soooo satisfying. She absolutelyyy earns her hea bc she fights for herself not just for him.

The plot is a mix of this really intense family drama and some serious action. There’s a hurricane that causes that forced proximity trope and omg it works sooo perfectly here. When they get thrown together the chemistry is actually so explosive. It’s spicyyy, a little kinky and I loveeddddd it.

What I love about the writing is that the characters are never cookie cutter like Knox is morally gray, he runs a mc and breaks rules but he’s sooo fiercely loyal to his brothers. That complexity makes him rly interesting to read. anddddd the crossover characters from the Colorado series were such a nice touch, it fully felt like visiting old friends.

It’s gritty, emotional and the romance is just soooo good. I’m already impatiently waiting for the next book in the Florida series 💯

I am back in full S Cole MC heaven with the first book in her brand new Iron Outlaws MC: Florida series, and honestly, what a way to kick things off. Set in the small town of Gator Flats, the book pulled me in right from the very start. I absolutely loved the whole vibe of this town, and being introduced to the men of the Florida chapter was delivered with S Cole’s usual perfect mix of banter, danger, brotherhood, with those totally handlebar-gripping moments that keep your heart racing.

Leading this chapter is Knox, the longest-running president of the Iron Outlaws MC, and ladies… prepare yourselves because this man is everything. Protective, commanding, fiercely loyal and completely addictive, Knox owns every single scene he walks into. But underneath all that alpha control is a man carrying years of history, pain and loyalty to his club.

The enemies-to-lovers dynamic was honestly the perfect way to start this new series, and the age-gap element worked so perfectly for Knox and Maren. Maren is the daughter of Sheriff Caldwell, a deeply crooked sheriff who has made it his mission to destroy the MC while pretending to the town that he is some devoted family man, despite barely giving his daughter the time of day. The history between Knox, the club and Sheriff Caldwell is paved in destruction and heartbreak, which means Maren has always firmly fallen into the “off limits” category.

Maren keeps mostly to herself, running the Magnolia Bait and Marine Supply store, but no matter how much she tries to stay away from the MC world, she cannot stop her heart racing whenever Knox is near. Knox knows he should stay away too — she is younger, forbidden and the daughter of the man he despises — but when danger lands right on Maren’s doorstep, and they are forced together, the chemistry between them absolutely ignites. And trust me… it is HOT. The tension, the longing and the emotional pull between these two completely consumed me.

What I loved so much was how beautifully S Cole wove the danger surrounding the club throughout the romance. There is a constant undercurrent of tension building around the MC, and it adds such an addictive edge to the story. Yet again, Ms Cole draws us in so expertly, making these characters and this club come alive before our eyes. From the sweet moments to the gut-wrenching emotional ones, to the heart-pounding, dangerous twists, this first book truly has it all.

Knox Unleashed is gritty, emotional, passionate and utterly addictive — the perfect start to what already feels like another must-read MC series from S Cole. I already cannot wait to return to Gator Flats and this incredible Florida chapter.

Well, hello new location and a sexy welcome to the new chapter of Iron Outlaws. Scarlett has taken us to the Florida chapter of Iron Outlaws, adding a new location and level of chaos to this MC series. The first books of her series always have well-developed characters that draw you in and you have no choice but want to know each and everything about them and the one who brings them happiness.

Knox is the Florida Chapter’s President and is the longest running president within the entirety of the Iron Outlaws. That right there should clue you into what type of leader he is and how loyal he is to his people. He is also a typical single guy lol. Regardless of his playboy ways, he falls fast and hard for the one woman he shouldn’t. He and Maren have a history of hating each other based on nothing other than assumption. It is fantastic to watch Knox finally see Maren for who she really is and how much of a jerk he has been to her. They realize they both hold hatred and contempt for Maren’s father and it takes a bit for the other club members to come to grips with this union, but Knox finds a way to make them understand she’s all in with Knox and the club.

Once the assumptions are cleared up, these two fall fast and hard. They share so many of the same ideals. Knox lets Maren figure out what makes her happy and fulfills both hers and his kinky side. Their chemistry is red hot and will have you taking notes!! Lol

The underlying suspenseful storyline is connected to the end of the previous book. It continues through Knox’s book but it’s not the only trouble for the club. It’s messy and intriguing and it hooks you right away.

You get to see characters from previous books and get to know how they are connected to each other. The new set of members stands out right off the bat! I’m obsessed over what comes next.

Scarlett gives you so much of everything you want in this book; brotherhood, sexy times and found family. You won’t be able to put it down.

"Knox Unleashed" is the first book in the new Iron Outlaws MC Florida series, set in Gator Flats. Knox, the longest-patched President of the Outlaw MC, takes immense pride in his club and his brothers. Maren is the sheriff’s daughter, and her father is the corrupt sheriff responsible for Knox’s brother’s death. This unfortunate connection puts Maren in a precarious position with Knox and the Outlaws as she grows up.

As a hurricane approaches, Knox finds himself in the right place at the right time to rescue Maren from danger. However, he cannot return to the clubhouse safely before the storm hits. The time they spend together forces them both to confront uncomfortable truths about their pasts, as well as the undeniable attraction, chemistry, and longing they feel for each other. This leads to some intense, passionate moments that they desperately try to keep hidden from the MC. When danger strikes Maren again, the only place she knows to turn for help is Knox.

As always, S. Cole has done an amazing job with this new series. The love story between Knox and Maren is warm, heartfelt, and deeply emotional, providing them with much-needed healing. I am looking forward to getting to know the new brotherhood of Outlaws, which is sure to be filled with new dangers, action, and plenty of drama. The Gator Flats Outlaws MC has already hooked me, and I can’t wait for every moment of this journey!

Welcome to Gator Flats, Florida and the first book in the 𝙸𝚁𝙾𝙽 𝙾𝚄𝚃𝙻𝙰𝚆𝚂 𝙵𝙻𝙾𝚁𝙸𝙳𝙰 series. It’s a small town in swamp country, and home to the oldest chapter of the Iron Outlaws Motorcycle Club. It’s a fantastic setup for this new series. I LOVE the atmospheric setting so much!

Knox is the President of the MC, he’s in his 40’s, single and has no kids. He’s a no nonsense, gruff, tough, but fair man. He is a strong and loyal guy.

Maren is in her mid to late 20’s, she owns a bait shop and tourist airboat tour company. She inherited it her from her grandfather who helped raise her. She paints during her spare time, she’s a secretly talented artist who doesn’t realize how good she is.

The two have a bit of a history of her being quite prickly towards him and him being antagonistic and both of them judgmental of each other. The history between their families is quite tragic. But, judging one person by their family members actions becomes an obvious miscalculation.

When they are stuck together during a hurricane they get to see each other on a deeper level and find that they might just like each other quite a bit. Especially with the inconvenient attraction to each other they share.
I adore this age gap romance between a seemingly unlikely pair. She’s a modern, independent woman and he’s an old school biker who’s used to women being in the background.
The chemistry between the two is sinfully hot, the spice is AMAZING! The way they experiment with different kinds of k!nks is delicious!
I love the way this author writes spice, it’s never just for shock or filler, it’s emotional and intelligent… and still extremely, spicy goodness.

There’s a part of the storyline that is suspenseful and kept me and the characters on shaky ground, the tension it adds is fantastic.

This is a wonderful story, the characters have such a great give and take to their budding romance. I love that they communicate well and make exceptions for each other that seem fair. It’s a very mature, sensual, emotional and extremely fun romance. There’s great banter which is my absolute favorite.
The secondary characters add so much, I can’t wait for their stories in this new series by this fantastic author. This is an easy five star romance for me. I absolutely loved it!

Read of 2026 ❤️

I've had readers-block with about 4 months 💔 BUT I found this book whilst browsing. It is without a doubt an exceptional read and my read of 2026. No matter what else I will read this year THIS will be my # one read 💞💞.

Firstly, the model on the cover is Knox. Scarlett, girl, you did good!!

Secondly, I dont know where you came up with the name Maren but I absolutely rock her name 🤘.

I adored EVERY WORD you wrote. I loved the way they fell in love.

Knox , President of Iron Outlaw MC, broody, older and dare I say cold. He DOES NOT like the town's sheriff who just happens to be Maren's dad. He thinks he will use her but boy-oh-boy he will backtrack quickly 🤗. For a guy that has NEVER been in love , he fell and fell hard. Scarlett , I adored how you wrote his thoughts, how he had conversations with himself 😆. This guy . . . ❤️.

Maren is the local bait shop owner. She has had a hard life with her dad ( I use the word 'dad' loosely). He does not like her. She has no friends bar the people who work for her. She has a lonely life. BUT she is a strong , beautiful soul 💞. She doesn't chase, she doesn't settle. This is the girl I want my daughter to be when she gets older ❤️. Like with Knox I loved how she thinks. She goes into this relationship with one foot out the door.

I could write an essay on all the things I loved about this book. So last few words, this is an MC read with two people that shouldn't be together but do and make it work ❤️. Its got all the feels of falling in love 💞, its got spice 🔥🔥 and its got drama. So do yourself a favour and pick up this gem today.

I have really been in the mood for a dark gritty MC romance, so when I saw this book I knew I needed to dive into S. Cole’s world of the Iron Outlaws MC club! This is book #1 in the new Iron Outlaws: Florida series we meet Knox who is the president of the Gator Flats club, and small business owner, Maren (she also happens to be the sheriff’s daughter). While Knox and Maren have a bit of a strained and distant connection they are still really drawn to one another….and their chemistry is top tier! I also really feel like this small town of Gator Flats is a character all in itself. I really love the way S.Cole described it so vividly I felt like I was in the hot, humid Florida small town with winding roads with the glorious water inlets where it seems everybody knows everybody.
One thing stood out to clear to me was the brotherhood and sense of family that the Iron Outlaws have. They are a very close knit crew and have each other’s backs. And I quickly fell in love with the Iron Outlaws and knew that I would be diving into this world! Knox and Maren had such immediate chemistry and while they tried desperately to ignore it there was no denying they truly belonged together. I loved the forced proximity as both trouble and a hurricane brought these two unlikely characters together. This book is filled with all of the things that I love the most about romance; age gap, small town, morally gray men, an obsessed hero, a dirty talking bad boy hero, a strong heroine, epic tension. If you enjoy a found family, morally gray heroes this book is most definitely for you! I cannot wait for August and the next installment of this series!

Knox is the longest serving MC president for the Iron Outlaws one of the largest MC clubs in the country. He’s in his 40’s, he’s not ‘young’ by any standards and would rather call or video chat than text someone, he says he’s old school. His lived his the same small town in Florida his whole life. He is at odd against the local sheriff who killed his brother years ago. They both stay out of each other’s way.

Maren also grew up in the same small town as Knox. Her father is the town sheriff. However he treats Maren horribly. Her mother disappeared when she was younger and she moved into the bait shop with her grandparents who basically raised her. Now she runs the bait shop and boat tour business. Her father leaves her alone mostly. Except when he comes over to harass her and tell her how worthless she is.

Knox and Maren don’t see eye to eye at the beginning as he holds her father over her head. But learns how awful he’s treated her, her whole life he realizes there is no love lost between the two. Knox knows some cartel people are in town and harassing Maren. He wants to help her but she needs to be truthful to him. Will Maren be able to show Knox how little her father means to her? Will Knox be able to see Maren without charging at her for her father?

But what happens when Knox chooses to help Maren during the hurricane? Will they be able to ride out the storm together?

I was sad to leave the Colorado chapter, but thrilled that we weren’t leaving the Iron Outlaws world and after finishing Knox and Maren’s story, I’m all in with the chapter in Gator Flats! I loved the very small town vibes, the atmosphere was awesome and I’m all in with learning more about the bikers and the women who will bring them to their knees!

I adored Maren and Knox. Maren hasn’t had an easy life and not many people in her corner, but she keeps going and is a force to be reckoned with. Knox is all about loyalty to his club and he proves it by showing up everyday to make sure everyone is doing what they are supposed to be.

Their journey to their HEA definitely had a rocky start (total understatement, I know) but the more they are thrown together, the more they realize ~ or Knox realizes ~ that they aren’t who the other thought they were. I loved their bantering, the chemistry was hawt! And I just loved watching as they let each other in and realize just how good they are together.

This was a great start to the Florida chapter. I really enjoyed how we got to know the main bikers through their interactions with Knox and Maren and to say I like them all is an understatement. But I also liked how we got to stay in touch with the NJ & Colorado chapters! But while I’m thrilled that Vandal’s book is next, I really want to know who will bring Sunny to his knees, so time to wait patiently for the next book to get into my hands!

It’s time to pack your bags and move to Gator Flats with a new Iron Outlaws president and a new chapter with Knox Unleashed to get hooked on. This book kicks off a new series and it does it with a bang or rather a hurricane that sweeps you up and keeps you unbalanced for the whole worthwhile ride. S.Cole has done it again!

This story was hands down another 5 star read from this author and she has outdone herself with this series starter in Knox Unleashed. From meeting Knox, the new brothers and Maren, the one woman he shouldn’t fall for, this was a book that grabbed me from the start, kept me in a choke hold throughout and left me ready for the next book which I am already so desperate for, it’s ridiculous. I can’t seem to let the Iron Outlaws go.

Maren and Knox are combustible and while they shouldn’t make sense as a couple they actually make one of the best couples in the Iron Outlaws lore. You will see why when you read it. They are like magnets, inevitably drawn together.

A new chapter may kick off with this book, but you see familiar faces alongside new characters I’m already head over heels for and can’t wait to see them fall and fall hard like Knox does with Maren.

Do yourself a favour and read this book, you won’t be sorry and the best part is there is more to come. The Florida chapter is going to be another epic series and I can’t wait to get on the road with them all. Get your leathers ready, we are going for a ride.

Knox Unleashed is book one in the Iron Outlaws MC: Florida series. This is an enemies to lovers, age-gap, small town, forbidden, forced proximity romance. This story focused on main characters Knox and Maren.

Knox is the Presidnt of the Florida Iron Outlaws chapter. He's only 44 but apparently is the longest running President of the Iron Outlaws? He was a strong leader, and his brothers respected him. He was patient, observant, and stable. I wouldn't really classify him as an Alpha though.

Maren didn't have any relationships in her life other than her employee/employer ones. She was lonely and just going through the daily motions. She was independent while often being sassy and stubborn, except when it came to dealing with her father. At first I felt bad for her but as the story progressed she started to irritate me. She put herself in vulnerable situations and often didn't listen to safety concerns which made no sense to me considering the events that occurred prior. 

Their story blended violence, angst, drama, and spice. The spice included some breeding kinks and primal play. The big show down was a bit anticlimactic and the ending was predictable. The pacing was off, as the whole story takes place within about 4- 6 weeks, making it over the top insta-love. I felt a lot of things were missing in their story therefore it was overall just OK, I give it 3.5 stars.

Top five books I’ve read

I was a little worried about this one because I absolutely did not like shade and jackal story. It was so off the beaten path for a normal MC romance. I wasn’t sure I wanted to then move over to the next series where they were still at least partial characters, but I am really glad I did because this book was so phenomenal. I will just chalk up shade and jackal story to her trying to appeal to a different reader base and pretend it doesn’t exist, but this book was just so good. There was almost nothing. I would change about it. The characters were so well developed and clearing my mind that it felt like they were real people and their connection really did jump off the page at you. And she walked a fine line that a lot of other authors can’t figure out where some MC authors will write in these alpha males that want to share their women with the club or things like that which just isn’t believable. Men are territorial so when you write an MC romance, for the men are wanting to claim their women in front of the club it’s just not believable at all, and she walked very fine line doing some public things, but it was still private as well so it was very very much so more believable than other authors. This truly was exceptional. I do skip some of her books with blonde characters. I’m gonna be honest I don’t love Barbie dolls, but otherwise I read her stuff and this one is the top of the pile best one I think

I loved this one! We're starting out in a new MC chapter, all within the Iron Outlaws universe. There were ample new characters, plus some cameo's from other series popping up. I really wish the last series hadn't ended so abruptly after people decided inclusive characters weren't for them, but I'm glad the author is still continuing to write in the MC universe - and I hope she pushes back into including more queer characters again!

This was a great start to the series, with Knox being the typical MC Prez, who very quickly turned into loverboy material. I adored that both him and Maren tried to keep it as a quick hookup and instead pivoted pretty quickly to making it serious once they realized they both were all in. Together they had great chemistry, shared kinks, and a mutual hatred for her father that stirred up some animosity across the entire spread of characters and made this book have such a great pace I ended up burning through in it one night.

Overall, this one is spicy, sweet and vicious, and I can't wait to read the next book in the series!
