Medic Daddy by Lizzie Sparks is the fifth title in the Timber Creek Daddies series and was a good read.
It is a small town, hero protector, found family, mountain man daddy, instalove romance with a plot and storyline that also included some elements of suspense, danger and action.
Daisy Monroe is on the run from her father and intended groom and stumbles up to the front gate of Haven 7 frozen, injured and seeking help.
Eli Mason is Haven 7's medic and keeps himself away from messy emotions despite his vow to try and save everybody as needed.
Eli is the one to meet Daisy at the front gate of Haven 7 and seeing the state she is in despite his resolution to keep his feelings on lockdown, his protective instincts kick in with a heavy dose of something else.
The mutual attraction between them is there from the start and the forced proximity of Eli's cabin and Daisy's story only intensifies the attachment Eli is starting to feeling for Daisy.
Simmering chemistry ignites and the connection they feel for one another fills in something missing for the both of them but the path to a HEA is not a given as Daisy's past and danger catches up with her.
This short story with the developing relationship between the main characters, suspense, action and the support and healing of a found family at Haven 7 have been combined well and kept me turning the pages right through to the end to see how they get their HEA.

Her Destined Path to Happiness and Freedom -
Eli’s protective instincts kicked in the moment he laid eyes on Daisy and he also felt an inexplicable connection with her, that made him want to take care of her and make her feel safe. Daisy didn’t have a plan when she run away from home, but her fear reduced after she stumbled into the Haven Seven compound and they made her feel safe. Spending time together allowed Eli and Daisy to get to know each other and heighten their attraction, which led to them embarking on a sexual relationship.

Unfortunately, just as Daisy felt safe and loved, she received a call that brought back the fear and led her to make a very dangerous decision. Eli discovered her note not long after she left and mobilised the other members of the team to rescue her. Luckily, Eli and Daisy got a second chance to build their lives, which led to her reveal her life changing news and his reaction made her finally realise she had found her forever home.

This fantastic romance story had a lot of heart, a few exciting steamy scenes, as well as some suspense and drama, that is ideal to keep you entertained for a few hours. You will definitely enjoy reading this book.

Eli grew up in Montana. Enlisted in the military the day he turned 18. Learnt medicine in the field and how to patch people up. His last tour was bad. Medically discharged with a shoulder injury. Then he met Rafe, another ex military man and joined Haven 7, a group of men who are all ex military that save people who need help and tear apart trafficking networks.

Daisy is on the run after her father traded her to a dangerous man for his debt. She comes across Haven 7 when her car breaks down on the side of the road in the middle of the night and she follows the lights. Eli answers her call at the gate and patches her up while promising to protect her. The whole crew accept her like she’s part of the family from day one. She finally feels safe and part of something when she receives a call and risks it all to keep the crew at the lodge safe. Everything is not as it seems and she’s now back in the hands of Dominic. Can Eli and the Haven 7 men save her in time?

I have read quite a few of Lizzie’s books and I love how much action and plot she packs into such a short book. This is a short read but quick paced book that keeps you on your toes. Excited to see what mountain man meets his match next!

Medic Daddy by Lizzie Sparks delivered exactly what I wanted, a steamy, protective-hero romance with irresistible chemistry between the FMC and MMC when they first met. In this book, we follow the story of Daisy as she runs into the arms of Eli, an ex-military medic, in her bid to escape a predicament her father had forced her into. I really enjoyed how Sparks was able to write a fast-paced romance that was emotionally grounded, allowing us the readers to become invested in the characters. Overall, Medic Daddy was a fun, spicy romance packed with heart and emotional comfort. If you are interested in a fast-paced romance that is easy to binge, this book is perfect for you!

Eli has cared for his fellow soldiers, teammates and friends for years, but nothing has filled the empty spot in his soul. Daisy knew what kind of world she grew up in, and wanted no part in it. These two were a uniquely perfect match, much like the other couples at Haven 7. This is a fast paced story with personal growth from both MCs. It's easy reading and keeps you invested in how the story resolves. I will admit, I am curious is any of the women develop common sense, or self-preserrvation instincts after being at Haven 7. (They certainly didn't posess them before arrivin. Ugh‼️🤷🏼‍♀️.

Another fantastic read in the Haven 7 series with Eli’s story finally coming to us. Eli is the medic for Haven 7 and when Daisy happens in his path he knows instantly that she is the one for him. The attraction and connection is instantaneous and Eli’s strong protective instincts take over. Trouble follows Daisy to Haven 7 and all the men do all they can to protect her. The book was suspenseful but just like the others in the series and it had me turning the pages frantically to find out what happens. I am enjoying this series and cannot wait to read more.

What a wonderful story and characters. Daisy, who is on the run and ends up in Eli's arms during the flight. At first, he wasn't too happy about that because he doesn't show emotions and keeps them well hidden. Everything changes when he sees Daisy's condition and the danger; he does everything to protect her because she is his now and no one can harm or hurt her. A beautiful romantic story that is definitely recommended reading.

This is book 5 in the Timber Creek Daddies Series, and doesn’t disappoint. If you love Haven 7s other characters you will dive head first into Eli’s story! Everyone’s favorite medic gets the spotlight in this book. He was so protective and the spice/connection was strong with Daisy. I received an advance copy of this book and this is my honest review. I always enjoy these quick reads because they are short but pack a punch! This is a great rom-com, with steamy scenes, danger, suspense, and a medic that is protective, in a “touch her regret it” way that makes you swoon.

Daisy is in the run and lands right in the arms of Eli, who swore to himself to keep his emotions locked up, but that is of the charts when he settles his eyes on Daisy and with the help of danger, protection and forced proximity they quickly find their happy ever after.

Definitely a different story line and different ending. I liked how it ends with it leading to book 6 but other than that it was okay… not really what I expected from Eli but it’s alright I guess. They made him sound like the gentle one in the group in the other books where this one he’s not as much more distant in a way. Since there’s 9 books I’m wondering if they will be bringing all the storylines together because there’s lots of missing pieces

The book was interesting and suspenseful that it will keep you turning the pages to see what ends up happening. I found Eli and Daisy to have some great chemistry together which makes the book not only enjoyable to read but a perfect 5 stars. Loved the Medic trope as well as how stubborn Daisy's character is written. Holy Moly Lizzie really wrote this romance book PERFECTLY.

Another book, another daddy saving the day, and Eli absolutely delivers. He takes Daisy in, protects her, and shows her what it feels like to be truly cared for, inside and outside the bedroom. All the Timber Creek Daddy books have a similar vibe, but they keep pulling me in, and I love what Lizzie manages to pack into 120 pages or less.

Medic Needed

Daisy happens upon Haven 7 injured, cold and in need of assistance. Eli is the organization’s medic and feels the need to protect her. This story had some interesting surprises that kept me on the edge of my seat. I could not put it down.

I loved Eli and Daisy’s story! I loved reading more about Eli and his backstory. This one is a medium burn, but still amazing. I’m loving this series so much!
