"I'll dare ANY adventure!" Welcome to the KING, full of BRAWLING KNIGHTS and ARTHURIAN ADVERSARIES and MYSTICAL MEDDLING and COURAGEOUS CHIVALRY and SERPENTINE SORCERY and WITHERING VALOR and TIME-SHIFTING ADVENTURERS and CATASTROPHIC CONFIDENCE! BRAVE THE BATTLES courtesy of NATE COSBY (Cow Boy) and RON SALAS (Spider-Man) with a connecting King cover by comic legend DARWYN COOKE!
I'm not the biggest fan of more modern comics because they tend to include blood and/or profanity. Imagine my surprise when this issue, published in 2015, contains very little of the former and none of the latter. (At least, in the comic itself; some of the ads were disturbing, but, nowadays, that doesn't shock me anymore.) Along with the usual great artwork, I enjoyed this one.
Not Hal Foster that I'm used to but enjoyable none the less. You can tell these creators are into it and not only take pride in doing work but respect those that have come before. I know there probably isn't much room on the racks for a comic like this but this the sort of thing I look for when tired of the usual.
Lo diré en este primero número para que quien lo lea por lo menos quede avisado. Aléjate de él insensato, es la mayor mierda en dibujo y argumento que he visto en mucho tiempo, fin, no se puede decir nada bueno de él.
