Rose, Blaze and Fury Gracen's parents were killed in a an accident when they were young. From her inheritance Rose bought a Ranch in Colorado. People in town thought she was some rich California girl with money she got from her parents inheritance and wouldn't be around long. Rose wanted to prove them all wrong in town and she had! She had a thriving ranch with the help of Hank, Kaya, and Denise.
She books tours, horse back riding and other excursions on her ranch. She was currently stressed because she had a booking coming in and everything must be perfect. She checked everything multiple times. She had just taken a shower and was in a towel when she came out of the bathroom there was a man in her room...who was sexy and had a Scottish accent! She threw him out once she got her wits about her. He kept apologizing, but she was done with him! Turns out he's one of her new clients that had come early.
She's not impressed with him (other than secretly lusting after him) and his group. Rich people that are entitled, but she has a job to do, so she just be cordial.
So many things begin to go wrong at the ranch. Graham isn't who he said he was (he's famous) and money is disappearing and she's hearing Denise is the culprit. She doesn't know who to trust, but she does know she'll lose everything soon.
I could write such a long review on this book, but I won't. I just want to say everything that happened, but I won't. Just know Graham is such an amazing man and he's more than Rose ever expected, but she guards her feelings and doesn't make it easy. The horses in this story had me in tears more than once. This whole story had me sucked in from the beginning and I couldn't put it down. I've read most every story written by M.S. Parker and this one got to me the most. I will definitely be reading it again!

Behind Locked Doors - OMG what a totally engrossing story.
I could not it this down, what a gripping story, it seemed so real and Rose and Graham came across as totally plausible characters. I loved her ranch , the horses and the colourful descriptions of their personalities, and the beautiful countryside. I loved the interaction between Rose and Graham, but felt devastation over the insidious undermining of her ranch. Beautiful story with a lot of anxt.

Just another in a wonderful series!
An amazing series, The Scottish Billionaires. If you’ve not read the others yet, I recommend reading them in order. Touching, raw & real. Yes, it’s sexy. But there’s emotion in the story that wraps around your lungs making it hard to exhale. Perhaps it’s the truth, that wall we all want to put up. But damn, Graham can pull it all down.

A heartbreaking story of hope, loss and love!
OMG, I thought I would read a few chapters before I went to bed last night. I am 73% through the book as I couldn't put it down. Even then at 2am, I struggled to shut down my brain from what would happen next. If you read any of the Scottish Billionaires books, you’ll have heard how Rose and her brothers were incorporated in her Aunt and Uncle’s large family after the death of their parents. But the start of this book will tear at your heartstrings with Shelly & Michael’s story. I fell in love with Rose who put her inheritance from her deceased parents to buy a ranch and make something of it in a town that never thought she would be able to make a go of it. But perseverance and the help of a few good workers finally had her looking on the upside despite some over expenditures. Enter Graham and his crew who are looking for a break from reality, but things seem to go from quiet to in your face after a video of Graham and Rose in the horse stables that tears at your heart is erroneously published to their social media platform. With the cat out of the bag, Graham has to do a lot of comeuppance to get past Rose’s fortress of her heart. But there’s a pyramid that is about to tumble that could well destroy everything that Rose has built and Graham is relegated to an outside force that isn’t needed. Your heart will take a beating with all that Rose and Graham go through while the villain seemingly makes off scotch free. Will Rose be able to lift herself up and put her cowboy boots on? Will Graham be able to find a way back into Rose’s heart? You have to read to find out and will be rooting for Rose & Graham’s HEA!

Behind Locked Doors by M.S. Parker continues the Scottish Billionaire series. Rose is a horse rancher operating a small resort and struggling to succeed on her own. Graham is the Scot who comes to her ranch with a team to take a break from his video following. He does not reveal to her who he is initially. Rose is attracted to Graham but dos not want to be; he is definitely attracted to her. After Rose lets her walls down and lets Graham in, her finances start to spiral. She is intent on surviving on her own one way or another, so she pushes Graham away.
The romance between the two is not the only plot device. True to an M.S. Parker novel, she has intrigue revolving around Rose's financial difficulties. Graham is sure he knows what is going on, but Rose is not ready to believe him.
The two main characters both have had struggles in the past and are struggling with their future. If you are looking for a short story with fluff, this is not it. This is a meaty story. It is well written and carries you through the main characters' struggles with no easy solution. Do they get their happy ending? Yes. But they also need to go through difficulties to get there.

First let me state that I have enjoyed this series. This one was a bit tough for me and I'm not sure if it was me or the story. Probably a bit of both.
Rose wasn't grumpy, she was depressed and anxious almost all the way through the book. I never understood the whole, "he lied about who he was" bit. Graham didn't know her at all and he didn't want to be recognized. He just wanted to be himself, and quite frankly, he didn't lie. He just didn't share that he was famous. It felt like an excuse for her to be angry with him. I never did end up fully buying into the chemistry between them.
She worked so hard to make the ranch welcoming and then treated her guests like they were impositions. Might have been a better choice to have the ranch be a theraputic ranch than a guest ranch.
I did like the suspense part of the story. I also liked the story of Rose, Blaze, and Fury's parents and what they stood for. It was pretty powerful.
Overall, it was worth the read and I will definitely continue with the series.

What a ride!. I could not put this book down. After losing her parents at such a young age Rose Gracen had worked so hard to build a ranch for herself with so much love towards horses. She was a private person who only trusted those close to her. Then came Graham Fraser Kinkaid. Well know for his stunts on Youtube with millions of followers. They are definitely opposites attract. The chemistry between the two is undeniable from their first meet, but Rose never lets her walls down. Too afraid of losing anyone she could love. I loved Graham and how patient and caring he was towards Rose. He was everything that Rose needed. This book kept me on the edge of my seat to know more. Well written and enjoyable

Keep the kleenex handy for you will more than likely need them reading this story. Graham a famous YouTube personality came to Rose's ranch for two weeks of filming and vacation. Rose was an extremely private person with walls built all around her to keep people out. Some how Graham manages to crack that hard shell of Rose's and she starts telling him about her life. That was the beginning of their bonding together. This was a wonderfully written story with outstanding character enter action. The criminal activity committed during story was not that complex as to who was behind it, but Denise was good at covering her tracks. Low steam, low burn, high high emotions. A must read of this series.

this book had me hooked. The author has a way of getting you hooked from the start. This I’d Rose Gracen’s story. She lost her parents when she was only 2 and become a member of the family of 16. She never really felt safe until she started her own ranch in Colorado. She was a perfectionist who trusted the wrong person and lost it all. Graham “Fraser” Kincaid is a YouTuber in extreme sports and comes to the ranch with his film crew. He and Rose fall in love but this brings new problems and Rose pushing him away. He believes he’s the reason Rose lost the ranch.
This book shows that true love will reign supreme.

Wow, what an emotional story😢 I knew it would be especially after reading the last few books, where I feared Rose had died with her parents as I feel like she wasn’t mentioned very often in other books…though that could be my memory that isn’t quite on point🤔
A really fantastic story that kept me turning the pages to discover what happened next and some annoyance when characters didn’t do what I thought they should, though my mom always calls me bossy so figures 😂

Good story; there are painful experiences, stubbornness, hard work, and independence with walls, someone adorable and perceptive who ruins the peace of mind and heart rate of a strong ranch owner. Also there: intrigue, betrayal, special horses, deep feelings, a whirlwind of emotions, interactions, and grand, maybe foolish, gestures.
I like the way characters deal with various problems and emotions, even messy ones, not perfectly.
For the heroine, the hardest thing might be choosing to do it on her own, even if it means losing everything.

Rose seemed so broken so full of anxiety the only thing that seemed to calm her was her horses. She built a business out of nothing, when everyone said she couldn't. Then walks in Graham, he might have been lying about who he was, but that didn't stop the feelings these two seemed to have for eachother. He seemed to calm her mind even when she was going thru the worst part of her life. The horses are what brought them together, and they will bring them back together when life gets messy. Loved these two, especially the horses they were so adorable.

A really heart felt story of love and loss. Rose, who lost her parents when only two. Also Graham. Who had his own loss. Having already met Rose's brothers and other blended siblings. We finally get Rose story. It is sad and you are willing for her to get the ending she deserves.
So many times I was yelling at Rose who couldn't see what was happening around her. Then crying as her life dismantled. Hard to explain without giving the story away.
Well worth 5 stars.

Rose has had a very painful past when she loses her family and running her ranch has become her life so when Graham shows up at her ranch for a little reprieve from his life he becomes attracted to Rose and she does not know who he is making her even more attracted but will she be able to trust him and herself to get involved.

Rose is the perfect main female character I didn’t know I needed in my life. She’s busting her butt and working to get everything she wants in life. Graham is exactly the push she needs to fix the problems and the sidekick she didn’t know to look for. They make quite a pair. Great read.

This story has a lot of depth that pulls on the emotions and had me connecting with Graham and Rose. Parker's descriptive narrative brings this story alive and had me feeling like I was right there with the characters in the story as it unfolds on the pages.

Wonderfully written with a compelling storyline full of likable, relatable, and strong characters (including the horses). It has the perfect blend of drama, complexity, emotional depth, and heat. A fast, addictive read.

Amazing story. Rose went through so much as a child and was trying to cope as an adult. Graham was a fantastic character. Their romance was so unpredictable that it made the book fantastic.

This was a read that touch on some hard
topics but was done in away that was just
right and not over the top.

I can’t tell you too much what happened because I would spoil it, but I loved love this book. I got upset as what happened between these two and I hope we get more of these books to come.
