With a formidable enemy upon The Isle’s doorstep, Alessia’s new title as Fae Queen is not the only thing that’s threatened—the lives of everyone in her court are at stake. Though her new powers are formidable in their own right, Alessia has some huge obstacles to face before the island can once again become the magical safe haven it was always meant to be.

When the castle is threatened, and everyone Alessia has come to love is under attack, she must lean on those around her—and dive deep into her ancestry—to banish the Darkest Lord once and for all…or there will be no island left to rule.

This is the third book in the series, and will need to be read in order to full understand the story. Though each book has its own battle that is solved within that book, there is still one storyline that runs through them all. It's 'clean' as far as sexual content. There is some violence but it's magical so not full of blood and gore. There was a lot more emotion in this book. I found myself getting a little teary eyed several times. Mostly happy tears. (Of course if you haven't read the previous books, it may not have that same effect on you... if you don't know the whole background of the Protagonist.) The Isle is under threat from the Darkest Lord (of the Underworld,) so Allesia and her posse are working hard to find a way to keep the evil off the Isle. She's still hasn't come into full control of her powers, so she's struggling a bit, but does come up with a few hopeful ideas. Even it they may lead to her demise. She'll risk it to save her people. The author has a couple other series set in the same in magical world, so there are some familiar faces. This is a well, and smartly written story. Lots of little intricacies to it. While there's not much in way of romance, there is a little bit of that connection between Alessia and her mate. There is a darkness about the story. I mean, we are dealing with the Darkest Lord after all, and all the spirits he stole and held captive in the Underworld. It reads easily, and the story moves quickly and smoothly.

The third book in the Court of Isles is totally unputdownable like the previous two before. In this book, Fae Queen Alessia has her biggest fight yet to protect the Isle and the people she loves. She has to get rid of the Darkest Lord and make sure he and his minions are banished for good before there is no Isle left to protect, although she has yet to be able to completely control her powers to all they are meant to be. It is great to see Lilly and Ranger X from The Magic & Mixology Mystery Series stop into this series. I love cross-overs. And I like the blooming relationship developing between Alessia and Silas. This is a real twisted, page turner you can't put down. It is advisable to start with the first book, you will definitely not be disappointed! I highly recommend the entire series! I received an ARC of this book but the opinions expressed here are strictly my own.

***I received an ARC from the author in exchange for my honest review

In book 3 of the Court of Isles trilogy, Alessia has to banish the Darkest Lord once and for all…or there will be no island left to rule. Alessia is new to her powers, so she still hasn't fully gained control of all that she is capable of. Between the Darkest Lord of the Underworld & the spirits he is controlling that are beginning to populate the island, Alessia is on a race against time. There is a little bit of the romance between Alessia and Silas, but that takes a back burner until the Darkest Lord is banished for good. These books need to be read in order, in order to really understand what is going on and enjoy them, so begin with Book One: Cursed.

I loved this trilogy. Alessia is a character I could root for as well as Silas. What a great couple. I loved revisiting The Isle, all the characters like Lilly, Ranger X, and new characters like Seer Godard and Liza.

This book just flew by, I could not put it down. Alessia has become new to her crown and has to face her biggest fight to save her land and people. She has a rough road through this book and I could only root for her throughout her journey. You will have to read the book to find out, but it is so worth reading.

I want to thank the author for this advanced reader copy and this is my honest review.

This is the final book in this Court of Isles trilogy. There is a slow burn throughout the book as the tension grows, we know that there is an attack imminent and that dark forces are trying to infiltrate the island, but know ones knows exactly when or how. The story culminates in a fierce battle for the lives and souls of all those on the island, and Fae Queen Alessia, along with Silas, Ranger X & Lily and even little Liza are needed to work together for the survival of the Isle. A wonderful book and a wonderful series. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

This 3rd and end of the trilogy was unbelievable. The characters were strong in their desire to make things right and in their love of their home. The magic was beyond anything I could ever imagine. I just wonder at Ms. LaManna’s writing abilities (especially with four small children at home). I highly recommend anything written by this lady!

Loved it!

We get to see Alessia come into all of her Fae Queen glory and also see how she handles everything that arises in between. A few twists and turns and bumps along the way makes you wonder just how everything is going to turn out all right. Highly recommend this series and all of Gina LaManna's books!

Gina LaMana doesn’t disappoint in the third book of this trilogy. This is what I call a fantasy story. I love the way she weaves her stories. You have to start with the first book in order to understand the characters and plot of the entire book. I recommend this series for purely entertainment and fantasy!

Perfect end to a great story.

This was the perfect end to this great story. I loved how some of the island's previous stories were woven through this story. I hope that it continues with Liza's story. I loved the magic and the relationships of the characters.

I really enjoyed this series. Fast read and I felt good afterwards. Magic, romance and a foe. What more could I want for a brake in between more weighty books.

Funny with thrills and suspense thrown in

One newly proclaimed Queen, one Dark Lord to defeat and a heaping of friends to turn the tide. New skills and bonds develop along the way and a wedding might be on the horizon.

Perfect ending and a great little read
