Dawn owns The Shoreline Surf Shop, and it is struggling, and Apex Resorts, a corporate conglomerate, is determined to get the land. The story shares with us, all that is happening, Mitch, her lead surf instructor, steps up to help her, and after a devastating, Night Surf Festival event the tide is turning. That little community, rises to stand beside Dawn and Mitch.
A small, laid back community, with the lull of the waves, to the waves surfers love, to the circling of sharks, this story will build, to the big waves, to the climax, just like what a surfer feels.
I received an ARC from the author, Marlo Cross. It is a quick read, but gives us so much.
