Moebius’s art is fantastic as ever. The surreal story, however, is a convoluted jumble of dream logic that feels like it might make more sense in its original French or maybe to readers more familiar with his “difficult to read in English” earlier work with The Major, but in any case didn’t do much for me beyond draw attention away from the impressive illustrations.

Whoa. I’ll most definitely need to re-read this with an appropriate amount of mindbenders in my bloodstream. Just….wow.
