Beige Gore

Rate this book
BEIGE GORE is a wild, teeth-pressed trip into the braided worlds of crime and spurious politesse in Massachusetts, from the North and South Shores, points central and west, and beyond.

The surveillance state; police barbarity; the drug trade; society's obsession with violence and its capture; art; commerce; encroaching nature; loneliness; the grim ways we try to leave it all behind—it's all splashed across a massive canvas, a bleak and comic portrait of modern American life in David McCoubrey's second novel.‍ ‍

Absolute ripper crime epic spiral into hell. I really loved this book and have read it twice already just to soak in its juices. McCoubrey’s written a unique detective novel filled with acerbic wit and devastating horror. Do you have the nerve? Highly recommend.
