OO, a London mafia romance book?? yeah I was SEATED 👀🖤

The start was honestly so strong. Aria returns to London trying to rebuild her life… and then meets Sebastian, her boss 😭 but ALSO her former stepbrother??? Yeah the tension was CRAZY. The chemistry between these two was actually insane. The push and pull, the slow burn chemistry, the lingering feelings from years ago??? every interaction had me giggling and stressed at the same time. They had that spark from the beginning fr.
What made this hit harder emotionally was that both of them were carrying so much trauma, pain, and unresolved stuff. Aria trying to rebuild her confidence genuinely made me emotional because you could see how hard she was trying to hold herself together.

And Sebastian… sigh 😵‍💫 morally grey men will always win a little. I’m not even gonna lie, there were moments where I genuinely hated this man for his actions 💀 but then he redeemed himself and suddenly I was defending him again like the clown I am. He constantly felt like he wasn’t good enough for her and honestly?? it added so much depth to his character. But protective??? Oh this man was INSANE. Full touch her and die energy with zero limits.

Their relationship dynamic felt messy, emotional, overwhelming, and honestly understandable because of all the history and pain between them. But watching them slowly choose each other despite everything?? yeah inject that into my veins.

AND HAYDEN 🫶 literally best boy. The type of person everyone needs around them. Best friend turned family energy. Always there for you, always taking your side. Loved him so much.

Rating : ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Spice: 🌶️🌶️.5
Tropes: Dual POV , Organized Crime, Former step siblings , morally grey , forbidden love , dark romance.

A fresh start. A hidden past. A secret that could destroy them both. I believe I might have found my new book boyfriend ! 🤭 Sebastian is protective of what is his and he will burn down the world for Aria. Even after time apart these two still have an undeniable connection. This was the perfect story with a decent plot and spice. I loved every second of it and was hooked from the beginning! I can’t wait for book 2.

Till Forever Begins – Donna Richards
★★★★☆

Genre/Tropes:
Dark Romance, Contemporary Romance, Second Chance, Forbidden/Step-sibling (not related), Workplace Romance, CEO x Assistant, Protective MMC, Trauma/Healing, Morally Grey MMC

About:
After escaping a life she barely survived, Aria returns to London determined to rebuild. A new job as PA to a powerful CEO feels like a fresh start—until she comes face to face with Sebastian Knight, the boy she once loved and her former stepbrother.

Now ruthless and guarded, Sebastian isn’t willing to let the past stay buried. As old feelings resurface and danger creeps back in, protecting Aria may force him to embrace the darkness he tried to leave behind.

Overview:
This book was such an emotional and intense read for me. It pulls you in quickly with its mix of past trauma, unresolved feelings, and a second chance romance that’s anything but simple.

The story leans heavily into emotional tension, with a constant push and pull between the characters that keeps you hooked. There were definitely moments that frustrated me (especially with Sebastian), but overall, I was fully invested and needed to see how everything played out.

If you enjoy emotional, character-driven romance with darker themes, second chance tension, and a protective, morally grey MMC, this is definitely worth picking up.

Characters
Aria
Aria’s character was incredibly emotional to read. She’s coming from a place of trauma and control, and you can see how deeply it has shaped her confidence and sense of self.

Her struggle to reclaim her independence while still healing felt very real. She questions herself constantly and is trying to figure out what freedom even looks like after everything she’s been through.

But what I loved most was her growth. She pushes herself, even when it’s hard, and you can see her slowly start to rebuild who she is.

Sebastian
Sebastian is the definition of a morally grey, protective MMC.

He’s intense, possessive, and deeply conflicted. He clearly cares about Aria, but his actions don’t always match his words—which definitely frustrated me at times. The push and pull, the lack of honesty… yeah, he tested my patience 😅

But you can also feel his internal struggle. He doesn’t believe he deserves her, and that fear of ruining her drives so many of his decisions.
And when it comes to protecting her… there are no limits.

Their Dynamic
Their relationship is layered with history, tension, and unresolved feelings. It’s not just attraction—it’s years of connection, separation, and everything left unsaid.

There’s a constant back and forth between wanting each other and holding back, which made their interactions feel heavier and more emotional.

Sebastian gives very much “touch her and die” energy, while Aria is trying to stand on her own and not lose herself again—which added such a good balance.

Other Characters
Hayden
Hayden slowly became one of my favourite side characters. He genuinely cares for Aria and stands up for her—even against Sebastian—which I loved.

Favorite Quotes:
“Nyx, you’re special. Don’t give your heart to these boys who don’t deserve you.”

“I didn’t need air; she was all the oxygen I could ever want.”

“I’d destroy everything for her.”

This is an emotionally intense dark romance that blends trauma, second chances and forbidden feelings into a compelling and addictive read.

After surviving years of abuse and heartbreak, our FMC Aria returns to London determined to rebuild her life. Starting a new role at Luxe Corp feels like the fresh start she desperately needs, until she unexpectedly comes face to face with our MMC Sebastian Knight, a man she loved from her past who she’s never truly forgotten.

Once step-siblings, Aria and Sebastian shared a connection that always ran deeper than family, but life pulled them in very different directions. Powerful, guarded and carrying secrets of his own, Sebastian is determined to keep Aria close when fate unexpectedly places her back in his world.

The story balances emotional vulnerability with simmering tension, weaving in flashbacks that gradually reveal pieces of Aria and Sebastian’s complicated history. Aria is a deeply sympathetic FMC whose trauma feels raw and believable, while Sebastian delivers everything readers love in a morally grey MMC, protective, intense and impossible to ignore.

My View: Donna Richards’ writing really hit me emotionally and there were moments I found myself genuinely tearful. Aria’s journey is heartbreaking and I rooted for her from the very beginning, wanting her to finally find safety and happiness. Sebastian was everything I want in a morally grey MMC. Fiercely protective, supportive and completely devoted to proving he will never leave Aria again. The way he wants to protect her and help her heal added so much emotional depth to their relationship. His nickname for her, Nyx, was honestly one of the sweetest touches in the book and the fact he only ever calls her that made it feel even more special. The chemistry between them was intense, the angst hit perfectly and the flashbacks added just enough emotional depth without overwhelming the present story.

I went into Till Forever Begins expecting a dark romance… and honestly it delivered in the best, most emotionally chaotic way.

Aria had me hooked immediately. After everything she’s been through, you just want her to finally get a break and rebuild her life. But then Sebastian Knight walks back into it and suddenly all that peace she was hoping for is gone — replaced with tension, history, and a whole lot of unresolved feelings.

And Sebastian? Peak morally grey behaviour. Protective, intense, slightly terrifying when it comes to her, and absolutely willing to burn the world down if someone threatens her. Exactly the kind of dark romance hero I love.

What surprised me the most though is that this book actually has plot alongside the romance. There are secrets, danger, and emotional trauma woven through the story that make everything feel heavier and more intense. The angst between them is constant — the kind that makes you say “this is a terrible idea” while also desperately needing them to work it out.

Basically: messy history, morally grey man obsessed with one woman, emotional damage everywhere, and tension that had me glued to the pages.

I have feelings about this one 😤

Aria… what the hell did they do to you?? That poor girl has been THROUGH it, and finding out about her past (and that absolute piece of shit ex 🤬) had me ready to throw hands. And then there’s Sebastian… sir, your obsession is showing 👀🔥 The man is possessive, intense, and ready to go feral if anyone even looks at her sideways.

BUT.

The miscommunication trope??? I cannot. It was driving me up the wall the entire time 😩 Like PLEASE just talk to each other for five minutes and we could all know peace.

That said… I ate up the drama 🤭
The angst? Delicious.
The “up against the wall” energy? Yes please 🥵
Sebastian losing his mind over her? Inject it.

And then THAT twist with Jason and Nicolas??? Excuse me??? 🚩 Something is definitely not adding up there…

Overall: chaotic, dramatic, a little cheesy (okay, a lot 😅) but still addictive enough to keep me hooked.

✨ Tropes:

- Possessive MMC 🔥
- Trauma / hurt heroine 💔
- Obsession 😈
- Miscommunication (unfortunately 😤)
- Dark past secrets 🕶️
- “Touch her and die” vibes 🩸

I absolutely loved this book💕

As a British girl I have to say it was nice to finally read a book based in London.

Aria finally got away from a life inside an organised crime circle and was starting fresh in London, the last thing she expected was to end up working at her old stepbrother’s company.

From the very beginning you can tell that there was more to Aria and Sebastian’s relationship other than ex step siblings.
Aria is the light in the dark for Sebastian and as much as he tries to avoid his feelings it, there connection was inevitable.

I love a man who is willing to burn the world to protect the one he loves and that’s exactly what Sebastian would do for Aria.
If someone even looks at her in a way he doesn’t seem appropriate he will ruin their lives.

This book had me hooked and I enjoyed every second of it and I can’t wait for more of Sebastian and Aria’s story.

To be honest, my expectations for this book were probably way too high. I can't say it was terrible, but I have SO many questions.
The main character annoyed me to no end. One minute she’s like, "I'm leaving my past behind, I'm becoming strong and independent," and literally a few minutes later, she’s all broken again...
AND IT GOES ON LIKE THIS THE ENTIRE BOOK.
THE. WHOLE. BOOK.
What was the point of all those hot-and-cold games? Why did she push Sebastian away EVERY SINGLE TIME???? "I don't want him to get hurt because of me" — GIRL, HE WOULD LITERALLY DO ANYTHING FOR YOU!!!!
I am so incredibly frustrated; I don't think a heroine has ever annoyed me this much.
To be completely frank, as I was reading, I couldn't even grasp the point of the plot. One moment they’re hanging out and talking, the next they’re fighting and cutting each other off, and then they're reuniting again. IT MAKES ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE.
I’m really not sure I’ll enjoy the second book any better.

This was a fast‑paced, addictive read that kept me hooked from start to finish.

I loved the tension throughout the story, especially the office setting. I am such a sucker for workplace romances, and this one delivered on that front. The chemistry between Aria and Sebastian had me fully invested, even while I was internally screaming at both of them for making such frustrating decisions. They were absolutely being stupid at times, but in a way that still kept me turning the pages.

Seeing Jason finally get what was coming to him was incredibly satisfying. That payoff alone made a lot of the tension worth it.

I’m giving this four stars because there were moments where I wished certain parts had been a little more detailed. I would have loved more buildup leading to Aria and Sebastian getting together and a bit more depth in some of the emotional moments. That said, the pacing kept me engaged the entire time, and I never felt bored.

Overall, this was a fun, tension‑filled read, and I’m definitely excited to continue the series and see what happens next.

You really need to read this book if you want an emotionally intense dark romance with a morally grey hero and a sassy heroine with pasts they're running from. There's so much happening but nothing feels rushed and the plot twists? They're crazy.

Our girl can't catch a break and my heart literally broke for her. 😭😭😭 This is book one and book two comes out May 14, following the same story.

Intense. Emotional. Toxic. And so worth your time. ❤️

Pain and suffering

What a way to be back in each other's lives after four years.
Aria and Sebastian were messy but they were trying to protect each other.
Made me want to shake both of them as they were infuriating at times, so many misunderstandings that could have been solved with talking but that's what happens with secrets.
I'm interested in seeing how Sebastian turns out in the next book if he'll go darker and if Aria will accept the life.
Really enjoyed it though, I always enjoy the organisation crime/underground type stuff so I was hooked. Plus the chemistry with these two were hot 🔥

Ooh this one is gritty! Till Forever Begins is fast paced, angsty, dramatic and gripping.
Our FMC: Aria, has escaped her past only to come face to face with someone she thought she’d never see again.
Our MMC: Sebastian, is dangerous, ruthless, and a full on golden retriever for his EX stepsister.

This is such a good story, the settings, the scenes, the suspense had me hooked and I loved it!
