I can now see why Dedra has dubbed herself the Pen Pusha.
Diamonds are a Thug's Best Friend 2 was even better than book 1... The plot twist, the reveals, the betrayals, the trauma. Whew!

Good series overall, but I do wish we had more of Duke and Diamond. A lot of their journey happened off the page. We got the outcome, but I wanted to experience more of how they got there.
Tana threw me. I really thought she was solid.
Now I understand why Cam and Diamond didn’t end up together, but I still feel like Stone should’ve emphasized that more in book one. Even when he saw them getting close, he never really stressed that they absolutely could not be together. Diamond ended up pulling away on her own, but I think that reveal would’ve hit harder had Stone made it a bigger deal from the beginning.
I’m glad Kayla got it together in the end. She got on my nerves for a while, but she redeemed herself. I also wish we got an update on Pooh and Felicia. I wanted to know how they reacted to Farrah’s death and Ace’s incarceration. By the end of the series, it was almost like Ace only had one family member, when Pooh and Felicia had both been established and had enough moments throughout the books that they shouldn’t have just become an afterthought.
I was happy the Hayes family came out okay. They deserved it after everything they went through. They were the most hated family, but Rich always held them down, and when Rich couldn’t, Diamond did. I loved how they always stood behind each other.
The only thing that kept throwing me off was the money. I was never really clear on what kind of money the Hayes family was bringing in from the drug game because they kept ending up broke. That part wasn’t making much sense to me at times.
Overall, it was a good series. I enjoyed it.

Karma Is Real You Better Know Who You're Dealing With!
Deeds B, lawd what a good read. I was on the edge of my seat. I wanted to throw my kindle. But I didn't want to get a new one😂 When I say Diamond was a true gem that she was. Through all the hell they went through they still had God's hand on them. This read should show folk what not to do to folk that had God's hands on them. I love the sibling banter, that was true. Luckily the love outweighed the foolishness.
We sometimes forget that people will try you just because of the loyal person you are. They want what's on and in you. Jealousy will have folk doing some really silly things. They better know karma is real and baby baby you showed us just how real it is🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗

Great book
Great ending to a series. My girl Diamond did not come to play in this second part. I loved this book. We were all wrong about who laced Sherry i would have never guessed it was Stacy and that Sherry and Stone were sister and brother great story line. My girl Diamond was ten toes down for her family i love it. I am happy that Kayla and her made up family have to stick together. I love my boy Duke he waited for his girl to come home i love that for him. Tana was not who she said she was. Duke moved in silence didn’t have to show who he was related to until it was time. Great ending to a series.

Now THAT'S what you call a finale!
First of all...I knew part 2 was gonna be everything! I went thru every emotion possible...mad, happy, sad, pissed, and last but not least shocked!
This was a page turner from beginning to end and I couldn't put it down! I'm so happy at the ending. Diamond was a real one and stood ten toes down thru everything she had to face. The final shock moment for me was Ace. As bad as he was I felt kinda bad for him in the end. Kudos to you Dedra B! You did it once again!

As the saying goes a hard head makes a soft behind and Kaylah seemed to find that out the hard way…Diamonds love for her sister prevailed and I was glad that got back on track towards the end…I was also glad that Sherry got herself together…The girls and Rich got the old Sherry back…Rich tried to tell Diamond that Tana wasn’t who she thought she was and unfortunately, Diamond had to find out the hard way… Diamond’s love for Duke set her soul free and Dukes love for Diamond rescued her…All in all got there was a lot of happy endings

So much going on!
I love how Diamond never let anything keep her down and she got her happy ending ! She was released from prison and stepped like a boss chick and never gave up! I love that no matter what she was going through she always found a way to get out of it and didn’t fear anything! I’m glad she was able to shut Tana down she needs to be humbled! As for Kayla at first I thought it was no turning back for them but I was happy to see things changed! The same for her parents and even Stone and Cam building a relationship back with their family! I was happy to see Ace get shut down he deserved everything that came to him!

Tana was a problem from the start it was only a matter of time before her true colors showed. And Ace definitely lasted longer than expected! The chaos he caused was unreal.
I’m just glad Sherry got clean and finally spoke her truth. Calling out Stacey and Ace for being manipulative and jealous took real strength. It’s sad their hate for Rich and Sherry led to so much damage even putting his own family in harm’s way.

A solid wrap up of Diamond’s story. I would have appreciated more focus on her and Duke’s relationship. However, this story was amazing. There was a twist and turn every other page. I really loved how calculated and smart Diamond was. Karma came back around and whooped everyone that deserved it!
